Completely unprofessional and highly recommend not going here unless they give you clarification on line by line approval or you will get yourself a surprise bill. In the end my insurance company had to use another line code to cover the made up code to get it covered for something this office makes up.

I let them know to cancel my appointment and I researched Endodontist in League City. I am so glad that I did! While researching, I found League City Endodontics, so I called to make an appointment. They didn't have to give me a call back for a quote on consultation, it's $295 with insurance and I was able to book an appointment for the same day! They are in a white building off of 646, there is no signage on the building, but there is a block by an entrance that has all businesses listed. When you walk in the building, there is a screen on the wall that lets you know what business is on what floor and an elevator for convenience. When I walked into the office, I was asked if I had any trouble with finding them. That is why I put a description of the building. The staff at LCE were all very friendly, polite, and helpful! I had to do X-Rays, very thorough with instructions for me to follow. Dr. Schaefer was extremely professional, efficient, explained to me in layman's terms what she was seeing with my tooth. While I will not need a root canal, if I were or if I needed a root canal, Dr. Schaefer would be my first choice! I so wish that her office did regular dental services, they are that amazing! The dental assistant, Lori, was very nice and took great care of me. Dr. Vogel was also nice. He made sure to explain the whole process of a root canal retreat and what I could expect. Also that with every procedure, there could be unexpected changes once they get in there. After a brief consultation they did some panoramic X-rays and I got on the schedule for the next week. Fast forward a week and I showed up for my appointment. We got started after Dr. Vogel explained what he was going to do and me telling him my concerns from the previous root canal. Unfortunately things did not go as planned since my tooth had some infection in the root. Dr. Vogel explained that we would not be able to finish up and he was going to clean out as much infection as he could and get me a temporary filling so we could go over my next step options. After everything, he took the time to call my dentist and speak with them about what I needed next. He sent them the X-rays he took and waited with me while we discussed the plan. He told me that he was not going to charge me for the root canal since he wasn't able to do it and instead charged me for an incomplete. I appreciate that and it ended up saving me a lot of money in the end... especially since I will now be visiting an oral surgeon. While I hope I never have to have another root canal, I would definitely come back to Dr. Vogel and highly recommend him for any endodontic needs.

The gal who answered acted like she was far too bothered and busy to help me, and it was like a gatekeeping process just to get an apt. They wouldn't even see me for a CONSULT for two and a half weeks, and then she said, "Listen, you might not even want to be seen by us because we... well, what sort of pain management do you want because I'll tell you right now we don't even offer nitrous oxide, or any sort of sedation treatments or anything like that". This was before she even asked if I had insurance or anything, so it wasn't like she was screening me because she thought I couldn't pay (which would not have been good either, but I could have at least understood a motive). It was like she just didn't want patients! Again, this is not a reflection of the doctors, they might be great, IF you can get to see them.
