I found the quality of the sushi was pretty good for a sushi train. They were constantly making new sushi and adding it to the train therefore you were never really eating "old" sushi. If the sushi you wanted wasn't on the train, you had the option to order it off the menu and they get served to your table very quickly. There's nothing to complain about this place. It's quick, easy & you're able to go back to shopping on a full and satisfied stomach :)

We now go to the one that has just opened at Glendale as it's closer, but the same quality and service is upheld at both venues. The sushi is always fantastic - fresh, good quality and new creations are frequently added to the menu. The staff are always so attentive and if there is any thing you would like made from the menu it is promptly made and ready for you before you know it. And it is very reasonably priced. I would recommend Sushi Bay to any of my friends and will hopefully always be a frequent customer! :)

The sashimi were fresh and the portion was pretty good even though it might seemed small when it is rolled over and cut into 8 pieces. The greens were crunchy and fresh making the whole dish chewy. Besides that the spicy sesame sauce, mayonnaise on the side and sprinkles of red peppers were a good combination. It has tangy aftertaste and I skipped the wasabi to have a better taste of the sauces. Price wise it was on the moderate level. At least the 8 pieces of sushi were pretty filling as the sushi master included quite a bit of rice. From the waiters conversation, it was pretty clear that they are Japanese and I did confirm with them. This place might be small but it definitely provided some authentic sushis.

The food is legit, and I particularly liked the little square dish for soy sauce - genius! There are tables but not the most exciting setting and a little cramped, so we took our massive haul up to the outdoor courtyard upstairs to eat, and it was perfect! Both of are open for lunch and dinner Monday - Saturday. My favourite of the two is the sushi train. The sushi is always fresh and the Chef's are always happy to whip something up from the sushi menu if it's not already on the train. Seafood is my love so I always go for the fat juicy grilled scallops or salmon sashimi. My hubby is more a teriyaki man so goes for the teriyaki chicken or teriyaki beef which melts in your mouth. There are other dishes made fresh to order like Udon and Tempura. Order them from your friendly waitress. The restaurant isn't very big so you may have to wait at the station for a ticket at the train. See what I did there? If you are visiting Sydney's Northern Beaches and feel like a Sushi-go-round dining experience. Check out Rainbow Sushi. You won't be disappointed.

Having salmon and canned tuna pieces together probably isn't the best idea either. The tuna definitely out ways the salmon even though it's the salmon you really want to task.
