Appliances are 1000 years old. Property run amok with screaming children, loitering into the early hours, drinking and blasting Mexican music at the pool. Homeless lady was passed out on the,sidewalk this morning when I was waking my dogs. Have seen homeless sleeping against building and in the dumpster area as well. Oh, and did I mention the 29-30-40 groups of random men take over our tennis courts to play soccer into the early hours of the morning leaving piles of trash. The office people are really nice and professional. Thing is, to protect the safety and quality of life for the tenants, they have to be proactive and stay proactive. Security needs to be increased and a better bilingual orientation for new tenants relating to noise, public drinking and respecting curfews needs to happen. They could do it, but will they? read more

This place is nice but overpriced, and management sucks, they will tow your car simply because it's not registered (my car won't pass emissions and I'm trying to sell it but they tow it anyways), they dictate what you can and can't put on your balcony, they have doxxed everyone's email address and simply said "we're sorry, let's move on", dog owners don't clean up after their dogs and there's dog feces all over the complex and nobody cleans it up. Fees are too high! I work 40 hours a week (not there most of the weekday) and for my tiny apartment I have to pay over $90 monthly for water/sewage/trash. I have 1 bag of trash per week! I have found that the property management company, AMC, is who adds all the extra fees to a lease. Several other properties that do not use AMC do not have all the extra fees. I discovered this when calling about other rental properties. AMC has over 100 complaints submitted to the Better Business Bureau. Sadly I discovered this after my move in, expensive lesson learned. I lived her back in 2021 for 2 years almost! and had to end my lease for some personal reasons, And now I moved back to these apartments and over all I really like these apartments but the only thing I don't like is that most of the 1 bedroom 1 bath apartments are so small. The kitchen, bathroom and washer dryer area aren't as wide as I would like, As a girly in the plus size community I would like for things to be more wider for use people I can barely move around in the kitchen area, I turn around and I'm bumping into things and same with the bathroom counter area too its very disappointing but other than that it's a nice place but I wish I would of looked at other units before signing the lease.... read more

This place is a HUGE ripoff. Unless you want to pay hundreds of dollars in electricity a month during the summer don't plan on running your air conditioning. Not to mention how much they charge for tiny outdated apartments. There is absolutely no insulation. A fact that someone from maintenance confirmed. I kept my A/C at about 78° and my bill averaged about $250.00. All the while I was still sweltering. People smoke right outside the building so during the couple of months that you're able to not run heat or A/C you're subjected to cigarette smoke wafting into your apartment. The a windows have no seal left and drip water down between the shutters and the window. If you don't clean it on a daily basis then mold grows. Speaking of windows they didn't clean the outside once during the year I lived there and probably not at all in the past five years. My apartment was disgusting when I moved in. The inside of the toilet tank was covered in mold. In my last month there they were adding washers and dryers to the units whether you wanted them or not. Then they had the nerve to bill me for painting, when they would have had to paint after construction anyway. They let everyone know with a blanket statement that they would be entering units and shutting off water during that week. That does not satisfy the twenty-four hour notice requirement. They shut off the water while I was taking a shower and once a construction worker entered my apartment as I was getting out of the shower. They collude with a towing company to tow your vehicle or your guests vehicles. They probably get a kickback, I can't see any other reason they are so overzealous about towing vehicles. I was in the hospital after emergency surgery and my vehicle registration had expired. My friend let me know that my car had a tow notice on it. They gave me two days to take care of it. Thankfully a family member was able to handle it otherwise my car would have been towed while I was helpless in the hospital. Avoid this place at all costs. I would give zero stars if possible. read more

We have lived here almost 4 years now. We've decided to move a little closer to where we work. This complex is well maintained, lots of amenities for the price and the maintenance team is wonderful! Considering the number of units here, it's relatively quiet! Very dog friendly, too. The only downside is the close proximity to State Street which can be very busy at times. read more

Lived here for 3 years while in school and I LOVED it. Great front office staff, great facility staff, fair price and no complaints. Community is well maintained and my apartment was clean and checked yearly. It is definitely not a luxury apartment and has some creaks, but it was perfect for the price and a wonderful secluded retreat space I wanted after a long day at school. Move out was a breeze and they didn't over charge me in move out costs. I would highly recommend this apartment to low maintenance and relaxed people who don't want to be bothered to much. May not be the place if you are High maintenance and demanding. read more

Stay. Far. Away. From. Here. Yes, it looks decent from the outside, and the apartments are okay, but the management and price is AWFUL. I have never been charged such high utilities and fees in my whole life. My base rent was $800 a month but after parking, the pool (yes, we paid for that even though the pool and hot tub didn't work the entire time we were there..), grounds, and their own utilities, rent was $1,200+ a month. A few staff members were nice to deal with, but at the same time, they just want to make a sale. They told us it would be $30-$40 for utilities and it was two to three times that amount each month. The appliances are ancient, by the way, which cause our own utility (power) to be $100+ a month ON TOP OF THEIR CHARGES. So bad. Run, run far away. read more

The management and maintenance at Wasatch club are superb. Management is very polite and helpful and maintenance addresses issues quickly. The complex is pretty old but it is well maintained. It's located in Midvale which isn't the best area but it's not bad all things considered. The rent is very reasonable given the current market. Definitely consider this place if you're looking for an apartment in the area. read more

Renewing our lease again for another year here at Wasatch Club! I believe this puts us at our 10 year marker for living at this property. We currently live in a 2nd floor 2-bed unit with 2 balconies and we absolutely love it and cant think of a better place to call home then here. We used to live just west of our current apartment in a 1 bed, 1 balcony apartment on the 2nd level and loved it just as much but realized the extra space was needed and it surely was worth upgrading. One of the many benefits of living here is the quick response from the management staff and maintenance staff. Overseen by Ashlee and has been for years let me tell ya nothing skips a beat with her at the helm! When there is an issue, concern, or really anything they are on top it fast! The property is very well maintained and always in top shape. The lawncare and greenery grooming is top notch and during the spring and summer its amazing to see the green grass trimmed to perfection at all times and the courtyards are kept clean as ever, and if there is ever any debris laying around we will be part of the many tenants whom take pride in our community and pick it up and throw it away. Our apartment is quiet and we have incredible neighbors to the side and below us. Could not be more happy! Thanks to Ashlee and her management and maintenance teams, there dedication to this property is the reason we renew each and every year. Well we were harassed for an entire year for things we didn't do. Prime example, we got letters threatening fees for the lawn damage that had been done. I took pictures, the lawn was clearly damaged by tracks left by THEIR maintenance team driving their carts through the lawn. Neighbors would let their dog poop in front of our apartment because they didn't like us (they would call me names while I would be holding my new born), because of my husbands job. Then the residents would tell on us for not picking up our dogs poop. We literally were COLLECTING our dog's poop in our own trash for proof of that because they kept threatening to give us fees for that. We had just puddles of water hanging out in the corner of our apartment under our couch all of the time, and we called maintenance and they just wiped it up and said call us if it comes back, (but we were moving shortly after so we just mopped it and cleaned and left). There are what looks like mold in every corner of the apartment when moving in. One of the many times their bark park was FLOODED, so our dogs couldn't play off leash. One of our neighbors and our dog played in the big field together there, bothering no one. This woman came out of the office which was like two buildings away, and SCREAMED bloody murder at us telling us we better get our dogs on a leash right now. Oh, I did call the office in tears after one day I was outside playing with my new born, and one of the residents was walking past and saw me and called me a "f***ing b**ch" and we got ANOTHER notice on our door about fees. All they basically said was they are sorry and that they are grateful we are there and that they plan on putting notices up on all the other doors a different day and it wasn't just ours. Rent was different one month so we didn't pay $4, they put in big red letters on a paper that we owe them money and a whole warning and stuff and slapped it on our door as is. No envelope or anything, so the entire complex could read about how much we paid and how much we owed. When moving out, we left the apartment in such good condition, because as I said before we replaced and cleaned a bunch. We got brand new drip pans, had the carpet shampooed, and got on our hands and knees for the nasty oven that we moved in with (which NEVER worked right, despite our multiple maintenance requests). Ya'll can bet I took pictures because if this complex taught me anything it is that they are skeevy as hell. We just got a bill from them of about $400, for repainting (which we marked on the paper when we moved in the walls had damage already), CARPET CLEANING, wait for it... DRIP PANS, LIGHT BULBS (we lived there...so we replaced light bulbs that were out) and a separate just general cleaning fee! So we are going to have to fight that now which is fun. This complex requires you to notify them months before you are moving out when your contract is up, and even if your contract is up but you didn't notify them they charge you for a full other months rent until you give them the notice. So we did that in advance (I also took pictures of that on their desk when giving it to them because who knows with this place), and they literally ignored ALL of my calls the rest of our time there. They wouldn't call me or my husband back. We recorded our upstairs neighbors, they were banging so hard on our ceiling that our stuff in our apartment was rattling and you could hear it too in the recording. I called them a couple times letting them know I had that and to ask them to stop and to call us back. The neighbors never stopped, and the complex didn't bother calling us back. So I just took precautions and moved stuff that could break if it fell. Wouldn't you LOVE to live in a place like that? Where you have to prepare for an earthquake everyday. Super fun. Last but not least, this area is covered by Unified and they are the meanest officers you will ever talk to. We had to, tried to, work with them a couple times and they were so awful. Not only that but cops, forensics, and/or fire is there probably once a week because of the quality of place it is. So if none of this deters you from wanting to move in (they are cheap, but they get more money when you move out), TAKE PICTURES OF LITERALLY EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING YOU DO at this complex. read more

If I could give no stars I would. This apartment complex, where to begin... HORRIBLE. They claim to have security at night, they don't, my car was broken into under our car port and then it got stolen again in our car port. We find heroin needles in the grass, there are people smoking on their balcony so you are constantly breathing in smoke unless you want to die of heat in the summer so that you don't pay outrageous amounts of money on AC. The people who work there do not care about your safety or well being. This is the worst place I have ever dealt with. Please do your self a favor and find somewhere else to live, somewhere that will care about you and your family unlike wasatch club. Also they never give notice on a repair or anything happening, they also forced us to get a washer and dryer in the unit for future renters, they took two weeks longer than they told us, forcing my family and my dog out of the apartment while they worked. They left the place a mess, dirt and dust everywhere and my husband has asthma so this effected him greatly. The management has been horrible to deal with, they clearly don't care about you or anything else as long as they are getting you for all of your money. read more

Wasatch Club is a really nice place to call home. Tyler and I can seriously say this from our experience living here for the last 10 years. Ashlee the property manager and her team does a incredible job at keeping the property maintained and clean always. The property is extremely clean and you constantly see the maintenance personnel everywhere all day long keeping the grounds clean and apartments well maintained. Its the best management and maintenance crew I have ever seen in the many years of living in multi-family housing, we are really impressed with these people and that's why we have stayed for all these years. Tyler and I wanted to say how much we appreciate the new parking lot, the brand new trash dumpster enclosures (not only do they look great, the cinderblock walls seems to trap and eliminated the noise of tenants throwing trash into the dumpsters). The new swimming pool and new steel fencing and lighting is super nice! Thankyou! Keep up the great work! Wasatch Club Apartments are wonderful! I have been there since March 2015. I have never had a problem with them at all. I have a wonderful 1 bedroom apartment with new granite counter tops. Central air, balcony...etc. I had one issue with my dish washer. I called in the afternoon. The next morning my dish washer was fixed and working well. They even started the dish washer for me since I was at work. I came home to clean dishes! SWEET! I love the pool and hot tub. Any questions I have I just have to ask and everything is taken care of. I had double knee replacements in May. My parents came to stay with me for a couple of weeks. The front office helped with any needs I had. They were very accommodating and very friendly. I recommend this complex to any of my friends and others who ask. I am very happy with all they do! You should come live here.....it's awesome! read more

I was referred by a friend to move into this community. They gave my friend a hard time about the referral bonus because I had moved in sooner than my friend. Two months later I find out they didn't honor their referral bonus to my friend. My first thought this isn't a big deal. 8 months into the lease I'm figuring out that this place is bells and whistles til you get locked in with a lease. Multiple times repairs are taking place to someone else in my building or in the road to get in and out of the complex and there is no notice that work is going to take place at which specific time. So if you have a unique schedule you can forget about having a peaceful sleep or have opportunity to prepare. When I signed my lease the lady said my apartment was remodeled! I was so excited I thought it would be a fair price but now dealing with outdated appliances and soft wood floor under the carpet you can hear every step you make on your floor. I feel bad for my neighbors. The only remodel I think took place was paint and carpet (which you are given a prorate fee if you don't stay long enough with them I could be wrong but I believe it's 24 months) The employees have a really good smile and seem genuine in person but if you talk to one of the office workers on the phone there is no empathy. Multiple conversations with the same lady there and it has just been the worst experience. You'd think paying for a mortgage price to rent a small apartment you'd be treated better and given notices when fixtures are taking place but it doesn't happen. I wouldn't recommend anyone else to be duped into staying here. The only thing that separates them from other apartments I've stayed in is that they do mandatory checks for the air filter every six months.. the front is that they care about changing the filter but really you know they just want to make sure their cash crop isn't being damaged for the next body to fill it. I give this two stars because it's a pet friendly community which is nice for tenants however the amount of money and fees when attempting to move out isn't fair at the least and lack of care to make tenants aware of repairs that are scheduled to take place is messed up. I'd call to see how this can be changed but the person who answers doesn't care. read more

My husband and I lived here for a year after we were married. The grounds were well kept, the staff was very accommodating, and even through it was right on state street, I didn't notice much noise! We had a really good deal come up that we couldn't refuse or I think we would still be there. read more

When I was looking for an apartment to rent, I drove by a lot of them. Even though Wasatch Club is in Midvale and on State Street the grounds are very nice, pets are allowed and they have poop stations everywhere that are always filled and emptied. They also have inside basketball and racquetball courts and very nice work out equipment and the club house is really nice and clean and then outside they have a large hot tub and swimming pool also very well maintained. When I decided this was the place I went in and talked to Britnee who showed me what was available and then took me around to look at the units they were very clean and well maintained and with the unit picked out the application process began that was quick and easy. The maintenance guys are great at what they do. I had been in my apartment for about 2 days when the fridge started having problems, they came and replaced it the same day. Terrible apartments to rent, today, I was one day late on my rent, and while I was out running errands, the staff of the front office unlocked my front door to come see if we had left the property. It was obvious we are still here, we have a dog inside that was barking, and my girlfriend was inside, because someone was trying to bang on my door hard enough it would fall down. Their response was "we are just making sure you haven't left your property" MY DOG WAS INSIDE BARKING. THERE IS NO LEGAL RIGHT FOR YOU TO COME IN WITHOUT A 24 HOUR NOTICE! This is not the first time they have done something like this either, ridiculous the way this complex is ran. Highly recommend not renting from here. read more

My daughter lived in this facility. She recently passed away. Her child has been working hard to get the apartment ready for a new tenant She called the office to tell them of her mothers passing. Her mothers car was towed even though the parking space was paid for the month $400! This is disgraceful read more

I really appreciate the help maintenance and the office gives me when needed. I called because I was having a problem with the water heater the maintenance guy came the first day tried to fix it had a new water heater ordered the next day! He is always nice and very helpful. He has always been right I it if anything needs to be looked at or fixed :-) The office is always friendly and very helpful with me anytime I just walk in to pay rent or if I call needing something they are always helpful! This means a lot to me to know they try to do there best to help out at anytime! Thank you! read more
