I had been once before, but my in-laws were visiting from England and we just had to take them here. They agreed that it was the classic, small town, American market. We all loved our visit. It's quite big inside and very open/spacious to move around. Beyond their famous cherry pies, jams, and butters, you'll find their fresh produce, local cheeses (yumm), and a unique selection of artisan goods (I'm obsessed). Also if you're an apple lover, you'll have come to the right place. They were sampling their fresh picked options, and we of course left with a big bag to take home. Also, all things fall-esque like cider donuts, pumpkin pancake mix, and unique fudge. Oh anddd they have this great little outdoor section for kiddos, equip with a swing set, big sandbox, handful of rideable bikes/cars, and a cute little rope maze in the woods. My son loved exploring. With seasonal activities like cherry-picking, it's a perfect spot to savor the region's flavors and enjoy a classic Midwest farm experience!

My husband and I shared: - Loaded Cheese Curds - French Onion Melt - Hot Honey Chicken Mac And Cheese - Strawberry Basil Lemonade Everything was fantastic. The cheese curds were the best we had while in Wisconsin. The flavor of the French Onion melt was so good. I loved the hot honey addition to the mac and cheese. We bought a ton of their cheese too and it was fantastic. They have so many other great goodies too. If I lived nearby, I would be here all the time. This is a must stop in Door County!

They had a wide range of cheeses and oils out for sampling, and the staff was friendly and walked us through the different varieties. One of them had us try a cheese dip with ghost peppers, which was hands down our favorite, creamy up front with a slow burn that built after. We picked up some cheddar, a tub of that dip, and a few beers for the road. We also grabbed food from the in-store café: a grilled French onion sandwich, tomato basil soup, and cheese curds. The sandwich and soup were the standouts. The curds were fresh and squeaky. We finished with their ice cream, which held up to everything else we'd eaten. The prices were low enough that the whole stop felt like a steal. A must-visit when you're in Sturgeon Bay.

We learned that we missed Monday visiting the farm and would have to wait until Thursday as you are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday and we check out on Friday. Thursday morning we went to your store and bought 2 Ribeye steaks to cook on the grill for dinner while we packed and got ready to depart on Friday. We were really excited to try them after seeing your business advertised all over the county. Unfortunately our excitement turned to disappointment. Our steaks were not of the quality we were expecting. They were tough and somewhat dry. The sweet potato was very good but that was not enough to justify the $55 we spent on 2 steaks and a sweet potato. My husband also ran back in and grabbed a $12.95 rub for the steaks. I wanted to contact you instead of leaving a bad review on social media. Look forward to hearing back from you. My telephone # is (810)875-1430. Thank you in advance.

Let's check it out! So glad we did! This business has been in the same family for generations and it's currently run by a very interesting older lady. What a hoot! You will get a history lesson about cheese and her family and get to hear about her really old cheese! The whole time she told the stories she was handing out good sized samples of 15 year old cheddar! (Awesome) Not the biggest or by any means newest "showroom" but the history is really cool and the cheese is spectacular. Letters on the wall from stars (such as actor Greg Kinnear) and other local and national celebrities. And of course the cheddar! (She'll tell you about any of them!). And how did they find this place? Lots of other cheeses and sausages or things to fill out a gift basket to buy too.
