This place is terrible!! Had a Horrible experience! If there were a way to give zero stars I would! I'm new to the area and looked up Pet Grooming to trim my chihuahuas nails So I called this number and the lady who answer seem nice over the phone but when I arrived She was a bad person, She was rude! And once she got my doggy to cut her nails, it was awful! She made my doggie bleed badly she tried to say, it was normal she didn't even finish cutting my dogs nails since I felt bad for my poor dog I told her to stop because my poor dog was crying and bleeding!! I was so scared I told her that this has never happened before and I told her if I could talk to someone else in there and she said no since she was the owner so I just left that horrible place!! I had always taken my dog to Christine at Wash 'n Wag. He came home clean and nicely trimmed. And because my dog has some health issues and cannot be vaccinated, she was willing to take him. It was a sad day when the business closed. I can't find a groomer to take my dog because of their vaccination requirements. DO NOT GO HERE! Although my dogs haircut looks cute, and the owner seemed nice....It's not worth the trauma he had to suffer! He fell off the groomers table a few times (her words, not mine). He suffered so much trauma that the capillaries in both his eyes burst! She didn't tell me anything happened until I later called her to ask if anything happened while in her care. She said no nothing I can think of. Well with much talking I coaxed it out of her that my dog fell from the grooming table with the leash still around his neck to the point of chocking, not once, which can be an accident but a few times, which is just cruel and neglectful! Upon speaking with a few other long time groomers, I was told that some groomers will let the dogs hang to teach them a lesson to not move or jump. I'm not saying this is the case here, but the amount of blood in his eyes would indicate that he hung or was chocking for sometime. She did pay my vet bill as well as give me a full refund for the torture...(grooming)! He also came home with fleas, and now all three of my dogs are scratching like crazy! I thought when you get a dog groomed it is supposed to help get rid of fleas. I've never had fleas in my home before, now they are biting my feet! What is worse, upon picking him up, I was paying and asked if I could leave a tip, she said yes, all the while knowing she caused this damage to my baby! My poor dog is traumatized and my heart is sad! See the picture I attached, it's only a small peek. Most of the blood is under his eyelids so difficult to see which explains why I didn't notice until later when I got him home, and she didn't even have the decency to tell me! This has nothing to do with money by the way, I would gladly pay a fair amount for a good grooming as long as my dog is safe and does not come home injured or traumatized! I'm angry, and disheartened! read more

I love this place. I feel like I live in a small town when I call to make an appointment. I identify myself right off as "Paris's Mom". "Hi, Kristin" they say. Rocklin Family Pet Store recommended her and I'm SOOOO glad they did. They're cool about drop-in appointments. She really loves animals and does a wonderful job grooming Paris, a Bichon Frise, so a high maintenance groom. She let my kids come in and observe one day. She allowed my youngest to vacuum up the hair and even let him practice on Paris with the clippers (under her guidance). Everyone there is so sweet and good with the animals. I have been taking my dogs to this shop for several years but I can't say enough about how friendly they are to me and my dog. He is getting up there in age almost 15 years old but they manage to always make him look great. I love picking him up because he is always so happy, almost goofy. This was my first time coming here since getting my dog a month prior. I was looking for a place to groom my long hair German Shepard. When I called she was very nice and I told her that I wanted my dogs hair to be as short as possible but not to where it looked funny and that I wanted to use scissors not clippers. So I arrive to my appointment and she sees my long hair German Shepherd and says, "oh no! I won't use scissors on him. His coat is too long" after she said she would on the phone. We didn't know where to take her to get groomed and our Vet told us to go here. Well what a great experience it has been! I have taken lola here twice myself over the late spring early summer.
