Updating my review. Today I am canceling my monthly membership. This location is closed at random times with no explanation. Today, Friday 5/23 I stopped by at 9:40am and it was closed and this has happened many times during business hours. I asked the employee what time they would open and she said she didn't know, maybe in a couple hours. They don't deserve my hard earned cash. I don't not recommend this location. read more

Don't like that as a member since day one of it opening in Bayonne can't understand why they don't info it's members of any price increase. and we don't get what we are paying for, half of the time something mechanical is always breaking down, and the compressed air has not been working for months and that is part of our membership. This place is ok for a quick wash but don't expect things to look like they were professionally done. I always have to clean it myself afterwards. The equipment doesn't seem to do a good job, but at least I can get most of the winter salt & sludge off of the car. Because their vacuum spots are free for anyone, it's hard to find a spot to pull into after a wash so that you can finish the job. read more

Just when you thought this place couldn't get any worse. Have of the washing functions don't even work. I'm lucky to get a good wash 1 of every 25 washes. They have no incentive to improve. They have a monopoly in Bayonne. The owners should be ashamed. It's basically theft. They get you on a subscription and you never get what you are paying for. Every time I bring one of my cars either one or more brushes and or not all water jets working. I always have to go over the car to remove dirt left behind also I have to remove water spots over the entire car with detailer. Not to mention trying to find an open vacuum available because most are being used by non-members not getting their cars washed. Also, numerous times I had to buff out scuff marks left behind and that's when they are not closed due to equipment not working, I would like to see a multi car discount that is currently not offered. I must say the staff is very friendly and helpful. read more

$10.32 + 0.68 for a total of $11 for the cheapest "Silver" wash. I was hesitant at first for bringing my car here due to the 1.5 stars that it currently has on Yelp. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I went on a Wednesday afternoon so there was no line at all. The attendant was not particularly helpful, mostly there to push buttons and try to sell you the unlimited monthly pass (which for silver I believe was $20/month). I wanted to try it once before buying the monthly pass. The wash itself "got the job done". My car is ceramic coated so the drying was easy. The unlimited free vacuum and compressed air is what really sold me. You can use the air to dry off the car crevices without damaging the paint. The vacuum will get the job done, but isn't the best. Overall, would bring my car here again during the off hours and will likely purchase the unlimited pass next go round. read more

The attendant guided me to the start because, not being a member, I had to squeeze in the non-member line when possible. She finally halted the member line to let me in. The guy who pre-wets your car does the driver side only. Never wet the passenger side which had bird droppings on that side. Went through without incident. Did not bother with vacuum because if was not necessary. When I got home, I noticed the bird droppings were still on the car. Paid $20 and had to remove what should have been removed when it was washed. Not going back any time soon. read more

Wash Hounds provides a $10 basic wash service that will cover the basics such as removing salt, dust, and dirt, but doesn't really get more difficult to remove spots off the car. I'm not sure why their payment system prompts tipping, either - it's not like their employees scrub the front or back of the car before it goes through the wash like they do at other car washes, and they most certainly don't do any hand-drying afterwards. This place is great if your car is filthy and you're in a pinch, but there's definitely other places that would do a better job for slightly more money. read more

I pay monthly fee to get my car wash and I've noticed that outside cars pull inn and clean there interior with out paying I don't think that's fare because I'm paying a fee monthly for a service and some ppl just come and use vacuums with out paying a dime read more

I went to the car wash today for the first time. I appreciate that it was free (Grand opening promo), but I wasn't impressed with the wash sadly. The car is still somewhat dirty. The wash was very quick. Additionally, please note that you will need to vacuum your own car. I'd give the location another chance in the future after they've figured out the wrinkles. read more

Absolute low quality car wash. Did not matter if you picked the cheapest or most expensive option. But for winter time this will help.

The taillight was broken and I noticed that right after the car wash. Showed it to the person in office but she did not accept that it could be broken at the car wash. She kept on saying it is just foam discounting the fact that the polymer/fabric hits the car at a high speed and could result into the damage. Just by looking at the damage which is the top of the tail light was chipped off can only happen at such places. Car was not cleaned well either. Going to cancel the membership. read more

They are not up keeping their equipment. Car doesn't come out clean or even close to being dry. I can go to 21st street car wash and get better service and they vacuum dry it and clean your windows for you for the same price. read more

I went to get my car washed here and paid the fee before I entered the facility. Once inside the facility my car was measured and I was informed that my car was too small to enter the wash. I asked for a refund. A week later I went back to Wash Hound to notify them that my account was not credited and that they made a mistake by voiding the refund ( I have copies) the supervisor was so nasty and told me to take it up with my bank. So I left a message for the parent company via their Facebook page. No answer. I called the regional office and was told that Chris or Steve would contact me to refund my money. Never happened. Took my wife's car and my car truck through Wash Hounds Bayonne for the first time. Staff was very friendly, courteous and professional. My wife's compact SUV went through the 10.00 outside wash tunnel and a decent job was done. Driver side was very clean, passenger side was not. Front of car was cleaner than the rear. Also the dryer they use did a decent job. I then took my full size truck through but decided to use the 15.00 dollar wash to see if maybe my truck came out cleaner. It did not. Again the driver side was way cleaner than the passenger side. The rear tailgate was filthy, like it hadn't been cleaned at all. And the front of the truck wasn't much better. Truck was still pretty wet when I departed the wash tunnel. Had to rewash the truck myself when I got home. Overall for 25 dollars and tips, I expected a better job. Maybe they have to make some adjustments, may give them another try. read more
