This is the only place where I get my car washed. Its on the outskirts of Jersey City, near Route 440. So its hardly ever crowded, so score for me. You first line up, where there is a traffic light on the outside of the building. Red means stay where you are, green means come on in. I must say, a more thorough car wash I do not know. All for the low price of $7.00. They make my car shine like mirrors. Which is difficult, being that its a 1994 Corolla with two big ass dents on either side of the car. They give you the option of having silicone on your tires for $2.00, which make the tires look as clean as they did when you first got them. First, the sign outside said it was $7 for the exterior of a pick up truck and full service is $10 plus $2 extra for tire shine. I asked for exterior only because I was in a rush. When I went in to pay, the girl behind the counter told me it was $10 and when I asked why she said it was because I had the tire shine done. I explained that I did not have that done and we continued to go back and forth until I said forget it and paid for a service I didn't receive. When I went out to the truck I still had to wait 20 mins because the car ahead of me was still drying up. It made no sense that I was done and the car In front of me still wasn't. Probably one of the best car wash establishments I've ever been to. Full hand wash, no rails (great for lowered vehicles). Full service wash for cars is only $8 dollars ($6 for exterior only). Interior is always cleaned well and they pay attention to detail. Always 3-4 people cleaning/drying your car, which helps speed up the process. My only complaint is small drop in service when they get busy. Feel as if they sometimes rush drying the car and many times have a few uncleaned spots. For $8 though, great value! This is my second time going to Flores car wash. First visit I got the works. Wash, wax and oiled the tires for $40. In 35 mins my Jeep was sparkeling. I was very happy. Three months later, even though the wax job still looked great. I just took it back for a wash for $10. It was done well, there is usually 3 or 4 guys working on it together. It was cleaned well but either the cleaner or the rags that was used left a nasty smell for days. Next time I will let them know. Low prices and thorough service make this the only carwash worth going to in JC. $8 for a complete (inside and out) hand car wash ($10 for SUVs) is a pretty good deal, considering that they also remove and wash your interior car mats, clean your windows (inside) with windex, and vacuum the floors / seats. If you ever have an issue with service, make sure you go inside the office and let the lady (the owner) know; she'll go outside and either clean it herself, or (my favorite) scream at the top of her lungs so that any worker within a 3 block radius will hear her and clean it up for you. I have to agree that these guys do a top notch job. It should be noted that this is sort of a machine/hand wash hybrid. You drive your in, they hose it down, give it a run down with soft sponges and then you drive through a power wash. After that they dry it off, vacuum, clean the mats and wash the windows. It's a bit confusing to get to and a little out of the way but if you don't want to run through one of the many automatic car washes with brushes then this place is an excellent option. read more

I saw that this place averages 4 stars~ perhaps Flores used to be better than it is now. My visit was pretty meh... There's a menu of services near where you enter, but once you enter, they kind of just wash your car however they want to wash your car. And not only that, they do a poor job of wiping down your car. My windows got streaks of hot dried soap because there were places they didn't bother to wipe. I didn't notice it right away because the soapy water was inside the nooks and crannies of my side view mirror, and didn't show until I was on the road. The reason I don't give them a 1 star is because it was decently cheap for the services provided (hand wash, tire shine, rinse). All the major brands of oil are available here and oil is poured from the original containers so you know it's the real thing (at least when you get synthetic oil). They take the time to point out anything that may be wrong with your vehicle, whether they can service it or not. Usually after leaving my car feels more responsive. I like the hand wash and price BUT once I got home I noticed they did not clean off all of the droppings from truck lid even with the power wash! My husband went to this place for an oil change, while he was waiting he got a phone call that lasted about 5 minutes and then one of the employees there told them they finished, my husband was surprised because the oil changes take between 30-45 minutes! They don't, but I won't hold that against them, just letting folks know. I've been to this car wash once before when my car wasn't that dirty. They seemed to do an OK, albeit rushed job. Tonight, I decided it was a good time to get my car washed since the last couple weeks of snow and ice left it looking like a salt lick, and we finally had some decent weather above freezing. I thought there might be an issue when I noticed, through the windshield, that the rag the guy was drying my car off with was dark grey with dirt from other cars. After a substandard drying, I paid, tipped, and drove off to pick up some windshield washing fluid. When I stepped out, I saw swirls all over the hood of my car that were not there previously. (This car was brand new in December). There's also still salt and dirt residue over multiple areas of my car, underneath the door handles, on the mirror glass and the windows. So, on top of putting swirl marks on my car, they also did a crap washing job and didn't even clean my windows. At this point, I wish I hadn't tipped, and I won't be coming back. Also, good luck communicating with anyone if you don't speak Spanish. Another customer helped translate when I went in to pay. Last time, the guy at the counter spoke English, but today, he wasn't there and they had left someone else in charge that didn't seem to understand anything I had asked. read more
