I have found my new favorite place to drop off laundry... Su Nueva Lavanderia! I was able to drop my laundry off with my preferred laundry products, at about 10:30 p.m. on a Saturday Night and pay for the service in advance. At 9:46 a.m. Sunday morning, I received a text message informing me that my Laundry was ready for pick-up. Wow! I picked up my Laundry and it was perfect! Just like I like it... folded, completely dry, looking good, smelling awesome and nicely packaged for easy carrying. If you're like me, single, busy and willing to pay to drop your laundry off and have it done right... I highly recommend Su Nueva Lavanderia at 4030 S. I came to this one instead of my regular Su Nueva because it's closer to my house, but I'll stick with the other one from now on. I opened 4 different washers and got hit with STRONG ODORS of mold, mildew, etc before choosing one that had the lesser of evil smells. What I should've done was cut my time loss and driven to my usual spot. Updating and taking away a star. They told me to dry was free, but then I asked why so much money had come off my card. Apparently the first time around in the dryer is free, but since that's just 10 minutes it's pretty meaningless. Then it's 40 cents per 10 minutes per dryer. A bit of false advertising. read more

The doors open so incredibly slow. I had to push a red button in order to exit. Imagine standing at an automatic door waiting for it to open & it never does. I almost ran into it the first time. I put money in the machine to receive a laundry card. I load up the washer & the card says INVALID CARD. I find an employee & she was very helpful with adding the proper amount to the card. I get down to the load of whites and I'm $1 short for the machine. Why is the refill minimum $10? I've never seen that before you can usually put whatever amount( I tried to add $5) So I'm expected to pay a min of $10 because I'm short $1. That's ridiculous. The dryers are free but if they weren't, 40cents for 10min is also ridiculous. It was clean & the place smelled good. read more

Yep updating my review. Every time I come here I am harassed by the same old ladies working here that can't just keep the facility clean and mind their own business. I understand you work in a laundromat however I do NOT need any advice on how to put soap into a hole. Go away. Also, I get it, I'm white. I'm also quite fluent in Spanish, and I'm aware of your nasty comments that you should keep to yourself. I know, tattoos are the devil etc etc etc.... Go away. The other night when I was there the same rude women were outside conducting business with a man who was selling knockoff Michael Kohrs bags and shoes. I have video of this where their conversation is audible. They actually welcome the counterfeiter and tell him to approach me because I'm a gullible white girl. I come here because it's cheaper than doing laundry at my house (free dry!) I don't expect royal treatment however I do expect respect. There are too many other comparable laundromats in the area to deal with being uncomfortable here. I'm sure the owner will be happy to hear about this. UPDATE: A woman has contacted me regarding my review however rather than responding, I just keep getting the same message over and over. The woman who work here are more interested in cleaning the top of the machines and gossiping and can care less if you are having any issues. I love the vendors who stroll in and out because they are the ones that make your experience interesting. You can buy dvd's, food and socks all while folding your unmentionables. It's open 24 hours so that is a plus for night owls like me. Another good thing is that they take credit cards which is a plus for people like me that never carry cash let alone quarters. read more

I have come to this laudromat many times before and every time it has been a great experience. It is always so bright and clean and the pick up service is great. Nobody ever bothers you and you can do your laundry without any problems. I also like that they have television screens. read more

I usually go to the Su Nueva Lavandaria on cermak but before I new they had internet, I came here once just for the internet. It was less clean than the other and the washers seemed older. I also assumed I would be able to use the same lavanderia card as the other location but it didn't work. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience but I'm married to the lavanderia on cermak :) read more

this location is 24 hours. i go to different su nuevas depending on where im at. i love how they have their own laundry card that you can load up with cash or your debit/credit card. there are usually women workers that clean and help if you need anything. my only problem, im sure is like every laundromat, is that people love to claim carts when they dont need them. mind you there are usually LOTS of them but some people who arent using them keep items in them just to "hold" them. read more
