I called their posted number, (805) 522-6500, got a msg saying their voicemail was not set up. I waited another 5 min, then left. I hope they fix this problem. If people could call this number to notify the person working on the floor to let them know we have laundry to drop off, or if there was a button we could press at the counter, it would solve this problem. They listened to our request for non-scented/hypoallergenic detergent, so our toddler's eczema won't flare up. Everything was folded to perfection and organized in separate bags. Also? I needed a place to wash their clothing before I took them home to my place... My ex wife had passed a few weeks ago and my 13 and 14 year old were really out of it. I didn't want to be at a coin laundry doing the laundry. However, doing it at my old home just didn't feel so good... There was a man there who seemed very empathetic and noticed the expression's on my children's faces, he then told them he too lost someone he loved. I always have advised my children not to speak to strangers but I didn't get a bad vibe from this guy... an elder, rugged and I don't even think he even worked there... No matter, it was getting late. The lights flickered, people in the building were taking their clothing out. I still had another load to do and the other guy sweeping said "take your time", so I did (He didn't kick us out- ). I folded their clothing in silence then my children began to help. We finished: my daughter seemed more uplifted and my son did too. We placed our items in our truck. I went back in to thank the men that were there with us... The place was neat, the new and old washing machines worked great, were clean and the dryers did their duty. At 10:39 the place was empty and spotless. As for that man he was nowhere to be found: thank you Sir. Who ever you were. To the guy cleaning and sweeping thank you too, he was nowhere either. I laughed a little thinking hmm slightly creepy but then again I did over stay a little... they probably went home quick... any how... If your looking for a spot to get clothing washed quick and be in out in the City or T.O. Do it here...
