I received from this organization for a past due bill from 4 years ago. We never did get the final bill from the city of Richland to our Georgia address. What started out at $190.76 is now $391.83. Yes, I did pay the absolutely rude people at Washington State Collections. I love all the positive reviews of these scumbags....stole that form another person who wanted to state there feelings. I humbly accept that there was an error I made in sending in the wrong amount on my personal check, and therefor the amount went to collections. Totally fine - absolutely understandable. This company did not reach out to let me know in any way that there had been a collection filed, and what was a 30$ charge turned into a 140$ charge. When speaking with Jack on the phone, he told me it was the state's fault, since Idaho won't let them find my address - so basically, after never hearing back about a ticket I thought I paid (and had been cashed on my bank statement), this collection agency had my license suspended and has made my life extremely difficult, all while I miraculously had no idea! This company lost a payment I made to them of 150$ to go towards a ticket .. I'm not sure how that happened because when I went to speak to a supervisor he was rude and talked over me the entire conversation was him basically saying it was my responsibility to know where the money went...well this company's job is to collect payments process them and apply them to the appropriate account .I work very hard for my money and now I'm afraid to give them any money because they can't guarantee me it will be applied to MY account ..if your going to give them a payment be sure to walk into there office and make sure there held accountable for the money you hand them....don't trust the fact that its there job to collect towards your debt .... read more

I had to practically BEG them to take my payment after 10 calls and two days they finally took it. I think they only reason they have such a high collection rate is because they collector for the courts so people have to pay. What a JOKE! good grief! read more

Those girls that work at Washington collectors are so rude! Probably the most unprofessional bunch I've ever had the horrible pleasure of speaking to! I called them to try and pay my debt off-they said I couldn't pay through the phone and were so rude about it! I'm trying to clear my stuff and these "young ladies" had the decensy of being so rude and so sassy! I don't know who trained these little girls how to work but they seriously need to learn some manners and customer service, not only that but also quit acting like they're on top of the world with that job.
