We stopped in at Washington Greenhouse last weekend mostly out of curiosity. We were soon greeted by more than one employee, and both offered assistance if needed. Its too early for much typical greenhouse business, but we browsed around and enjoyed the visit. Before we left, a female employee approached us and answered a few questions we had pertaining to our garden plans for the year. She stayed with us, gave us a brief tour of the layout of the business and was very attentive. It was obvious we weren't going to make a purchase this visit, but she treated us with the courtesy and appreciation of any paying customer. We had a landscaper clean up our yard. They purchased 3 bushes which were $182.94 and was supposed to have a year warranty. We were given the receipt which showed a discount so we paid $159.52. It states an open % discount. Not sure what that really means but they all died when we followed instructions on watering. The greenhouse would not honor the warranty because they were on a discount. So if you buy anything there be aware that the warranty will not apply if you are buying in sale. I also want to say the lady, not sure if owner or manager, was rude and snippy. We buy from there every year but we will be going down to Sunnyland or elsewhere from now on. read more

I spent approximately $200 here wanted to take one $13 plant back because it died. Would not honor their warranty and blamed me for the damage.I got the impression no matter what they had no intention of honoring their warranty. Bad business lost a customer read more

Awesome greenhouse!! Drove by a million times always wanting to stop in but never did. Recently purchased a home in the area and figured it was about time and it was fantastic! Huge selection of your usuals of annual and perennial variety and a enormous selction of garden goodies but the exotics is what grabbed my attention. Palms, snake plants(motherInlaw tounge) and even some carnivorous plants and small banana trees! Im a fellow plant lover and i asked alot of questions and there were all answered and i will for sure be returning! Oh and if you into hibiscus then i havnt seen a better selection anywhere! read more

My wife and I live right near Washington Greenhouse, and they are the best greenhouse around this area. Their prices are excellent, the customer service is great,(the same employees have been there for years, so they know A LOT about plants.) Their selection is fantastic---all manner of plants and all manner of colors. They grow a lot of their own plants, which allows them to charge less. Washington Greenhouse is the best greenhouse in Tazewell County. read more
