The whole team and environment is great and helped beyond what I could have imagined! They guided me in my rehab while learning how to walk again post surgery, working with me and being invested in my progress every step of the way. Biggest thanks to Leah and Tyler as my primary PTs- they helped me repair my range of motion in my knee, and helped me step outside my comfort zone while feeling supported at the same time. They are extremely accommodating and knowledgeable about any questions or concerns I had during rehab. Even after I 'retired' from PT, Leah reaches out occasionally to check in on my progress :) Deja at the front desk is super welcoming and helpful for any questions I had regarding billing and scheduling. I was recovering from a hip replacement and walking with a cane the first 3 appointments and using a walker at home. My physical therapist was very knowledgeable and advised me to try to walk without the walker at home when possible, after that I gained a lot of confidence. I made steady progress from mid May through my final session in August. I am back to walking, bending and doing my regular things around the house. I am very grateful to my physical therapist, Tyler and the staff of Proflex. I highly recommend them. read more

I had to do rehabilitation for my sprained ankle and I looked through a long list of approved physical therapists in the area. I knew nothing about physical therapy so I randomly chose Schrier Physical Therapy because of the location, hours, and good reviews, and I'm glad I did. My main physical therapist here was Grace. She was super nice, helpful, and always sent me e-mails to check if I was doing my homework exercises or if I had any questions. Due to scheduling, I've also worked with Karin and Tiffany. Everyone here was friendly and chatty. I hate going to doctors/specialists of any kind, but they made it a really relaxing atmosphere. My visits usually began with warming up on a bike machine for ten minutes, followed by a PT aide leading various exercises to get my ankle moving in all directions. We then ended with the physical therapist checking my ankle and giving a light massage, before ending with ice application. My ankle did feel a little better each time. I do wish that the sessions lasted longer though. I still recommend coming to Schrier PT if you need to do any kind of rehabilitation. Unfortunately, I had to stop going because my insurance does not cover this and all the visits do add up, but I learned enough to do the exercises on my own. I would return here if I injure my clumsy self again. read more

When I first went to ProFlex I had severe heel pain from plantar fasciitis that was impacting my ability to walk and enjoy my normal activities. Working with Leah Ross, my Physical Therapist, over a few months the pain completely resolved. Leah was just fantastic. In addition to working with me during my appointments she gave me exercises to work on at home. Leah spent time to thoroughly explain the purpose of each of the exercises and to made sure I was doing them properly. She provided me with encouragement and support throughout the process. A solid meh. The PT was a nice person, but two elements in particular were disappointing : treatment often seemed cookie cutter as I was often doing the same exercises as everyone else there for care, and sessions got shorter and shorter eventually ending after 35 minutes. I can't say enough about this place. I've had so much Physical Therapy over the past 6 years and never had any progress so needless to say I didn't have much faith when I started here a month ago. The physical therapist is great but the administrative and management is horrible. There is a definitive concern for lack of administrative management. Horrible. I have ask for Upper management and there is a fear of seeking Upper management. I spoke with an AD of billing and she was unhelpful. Just calling them at the Clinton location and see what happens . Anything that is complicated will not get a call back or if they had to call your insurance company will take 2-3 weeks. Craziness . read more

Horrible place. I would have given it zero star if i were given the option. I had to reschedule all of my other work in order to go to the 7am appointment with Proflex. I got up at 6am on the day of the appointment and had some emergency to deal with and i arrived at their office at 7:10 am. Then i was told I couldn't be seen and treated by Proflex. My neck and shoulder really hurt and they wouldn't treat me because i was 10 min late. Then it totally messed up with my whole day schedule plus all the prep i made in order to make the appointment. They could have explained me way better. The woman was the the most rude doctor I have ever seen. I will NEVER come to this place ever again. read more

I went to ProFlex after tearing my ACL and the subsequent surgery to replace it. My PT was Megan Patton. She was phenomenal. Always showing true concern with my pain level and progress throughout my rehab. She was fun to be around, was a true professional, and made the whole journey pleasant. Miguel was always helping to keep an eye on me to make sure I was using proper form on my exercises. Even when Miguel wasn't there and there were other assistants around, they were all really great. All of the support staff, including Mara at the front desk, really made it as enjoyable as possible. I highly recommend this place and Megan Patton to help anyone who needs A PT. I hope I never break myself again, but at least I know where I'm going for the rehab if I do! read more

No combination of words typed into this box could ever begin to convey just what the folks at Schrier PT have done for me over the past several months. The benefit and improvement to my life can't be overstated. An Osteopath, when treating me for a long standing and many times misdiagnosed condition, gave me a prescription directing me to seek out IMT (dry needling) in conjunction with a PT regimen that incorporates targeted exercises and stretching. I found Schrier PT with a Google search and quickly concluded that they were the closest to my home that met the criteria, albeit a 2 hour drive (round trip). My first impression of the office was very favorable given that it's bright and spacious and it's in a building that has excellent air quality and lots of natural light. The receptionist was welcoming and the Therapist that greeted me and provided the initial evaluation of my condition was the perfect mix of professionalism, attentiveness and positive energy. Her obvious confidence and optimism that Schrier PT could provide me with some help toward bettering my condition set the tone from the very beginning. That first appointment included treatment, not just the evaluation. This alone set them apart from so many others. That and the fact that I was listened to in earnest. Years of intense pain that I just didn't even begin to understand, misdiagnosis after misdiagnosis, inconclusive diagnostics, countless specialists and alternative medicine practicioners, many thousands of $, a pharmacy worth of drugs, countless hours in the car and on planes....... Schrier PT helped put that behind me and set me on a path toward improvement. I may do my part by keeping my appointments and putting in the work that's necessary, however, I did that for years before I went to Schrier PT. The difference is that I finally got matched up with the people that had the skill, listened, took the time and, most importantly, had the will to help me. I am forever grateful. I have been to many over the years, have tried surgery to no avail, and have finally found a wonderful practice who really care about you as an individual. I have a chronic, but sporadic, problem and experience severe pain. All I have to do is make a call and they do all they can to fit me in right away. Mostly though, they have been the only place to give relief of my pain. Amy, Alli and Jamey are all great!. I've been a medical professional for 27 yrs and these are the best quallified PTs I;ve encountered. Just finished about 5/6 weeks of therapy with Megan, she is great - friendly, cheerful and knows her stuff. Both Megan and Miguel are great, they both made me feel comfortable and helped me with any questions or issues that i had. The place was clean and seemed to have good equipment. As for scheduling, i never had any problems, but i would imagine if you called to let them know you were running late they would be accommodating. All in all, i left there knowing how to do some exercises at home to keep things improving and with a cool t-shirt! If the need ever arises again i would not hesitate to go back to them. read more

After meniscus surgery on my left knee on 10/10/16 I was prescribed PT and chose ProFlex. Megan P. was my physical therapist and she did a phenomenal job bringing me back to normalcy. I have to agree with the first review. The people in the Gaithersburg office were all very nice very easy to work with. The hours are very flexible and easy to fit into a work schedule. Initially, the exercises they gave me helped my problem and I saw some improvement. I found them to be more "hands on" in terms of massage and and other treatments than other therapists I have been to. However, after setting up my first routine it never varied over four weeks ( 8 sessions), it was not challenging me, and I stopped progressing. Ultimately, I came to the conclusion, I could do the same workout at home more conveniently and less expensively. It it worth giving them a try to see what they can do for you. They offer a free initial evaluation. read more

Nice people but...I don't think it was the best use of my time and the PT was not an expert. I found that there is a lot of down time waiting for the therapist to finish with another client during my therapy (overlap of patients) so I am left sitting around on the table or stretching. I would come in to the sessions warmed up from my gym and ready to go and they would ask me to spend 10 minutes on the bike! Then lay on the table for 10 more minutes....Are you kidding me? The assistant was not prepared and did not correctly demostrate the proper form and the PT only noticed when I was close to done! Waste of time. I am fairly active with lots of different forms of excercise and a runner. I don't need grandma therapy! I don't think this helped me at all--the recovery seems mostly natural AND I am not fully back to normal. They seem to want more treatments (after $$) but really I would rather target my time (full-time job and other life obligations) and money better with someone more knowlegeable or proactive. The evaluation and treatment was minimal and I will likely try acupunture (though someone known in the field) or another therapist. Very disappointed at the progress and i am willing to work hard but the treatment is not any more useful than rest. read more
