My favorite part of the library is the online access to 7,000+ online newspapers and magazines. The worldwide selection of the top newspapers from around the the world is an indispensable resource for me. I also find my favorite periodicals as well, like Scientific American. Science News, Smithsonian, National Geographic and Discovery magazine. You can have most of their materials shipped to your local library which can be very convenient. Selection-wise, there are a few books I always check to see if a decent library has, and they have them, as well as Wii games and an impressive DVD collection, but the sense of community, of going to a library to do research or look at new books or whatever, is just gone, only adding to the anti-intellectualism America does so well. It's completely dystopian and disappointing. I know that libraries have to follow state mandates and are often the first things closed during virus surges, but this once-impressive library is just in a sad state.

Every week they have things for the kids to attend. The library also serves as a community center where people can meet to work on a puzzle together or have a book club and the local homeless also are welcome to hang out and pick up some free toiletries and things like that.
