Worst customer service…read more Purchased 2 tickets in advance for a Friday show. Unfortunately we had a death in the family and was unable to attend. We called the theater Wednesday morning, hoping to either receive a refund or tickets to another day/show. We recieved no return phone call. We left multiple messages before we finally reached someone, because we called them. We even stopped in the theater on Thursday evening to try to speak with someone (while they had a show going on) and there was no one at the front desk or anywhere for the matter. Finally got a call the following week with the option to see a show THAT NIGHT.... mind you we both work full time.... because that was the "only option"... we had to pass. Now we're out of $50 Thanks for nothing. We won't ever return to your establishment.

I reached out professionally--twice, for two separate businesses--and received dismissive and unnecessarily rude responses. As a fellow business owner, I understand receiving unsolicited emails, but there is a respectful way to decline interest without being condescending. Customer service and professionalism matter just as much after the event as they do during it. Based on this experience, I no longer feel comfortable supporting or recommending this business moving forward.

Seating is comfortable and views of the stage are great from any location. It has gone downhill over the last few years. The fact that people have been at Chez for so long and are now running away in droves should tell you something. Parents dictate what they want, and the studio caters to the few who have the loudest voice. If you want to get anywhere here, make yourself available to the owners personally. They will accept the poorest of behaviors as long as it benefits them. Find a place that lifts your kids up, not tears them down. Find a place where your kids will be nurtured and their voices heard, not pushed away and screamed at for actually attending classes. Newer teachers have zero classroom control and seasoned teachers look so beat up by the owners they are just hanging on. It has been a sad decline. The studio owner and one of her daughters continue to think they are God as it was posted in another review. It is awful how they treat their students. They completely beat down and damage the self esteem of most of their dancers, my child included. I have witnessed first hand the inappropriate comments by the teachers and the tears of the students that stem from such comments. It is okay if teachers miss classes for personal events but the kids are shamed for doing so. They have no respect for these young girls and ladies. There are a handful of teachers there that seem to really care. There are others that carry on the abusive way of the owner and seem to get joy out of making kids feel poorly about themselves. There is nothing that could keep me there. The reputation of the studio has plumented and there are much better studios in the town as well as neighboring towns. My daughter found a new love of dance once we switched her.

My daughter was taking lessons for a few years before performing in their Cinderella production at the age of 7. My daughter was able to see how her lessons came together in an actual show, and the older girls performing with her really supported her. In my opinion, this comradery is something that can not be found everywhere. The studio has become a second home to my daughter, and the faculty there continue to nurture and support my daughter's love of dance. No recliner seats, no frills. I will say it wasn't frigid inside, which was a welcome surprise. They didn't enforce their outside drink/food policy. I'd say it's a good spot for a cheap night out. Nothing special.
