Very disappointed in WM. I have been a customer for the last 5 years, all the sudden my bill went from $280 yearly to $381 this year. They advertise on their website $20.81 per month which is more than $150 less a year than they are expecting me to pay. Was on the phone with them and they did nothing but smart remarks & horrible customer service. I highly suggest no one do business with them. Very unprofessional and the longer you have service the more they want to charge you. I would give zero stars if I could. read more

Waste Management sucks,,they are a bunch of overpaid people that doesn't care one bit about customers,,they miss my garbage pickup make lame excuses why and then don't pick up until next week.The driver that picks my stop up is either lazy,stupid,or a liar.,I suspect all three. Waste Management trash service has skipped our pick up TWO WEEKS in a row yet their website states 'pickup completed' ....CSR promised end of next day puck up BOTH times & didn't follow thru either time & STILL NO PICKUP -- NOW CSR says pickup rescheduled for yet ANOTHER DELAY ...'tomorrow'....no notification.....had to call to find out....reason? None available.....!! I can give a reason....Waste Management service is LAX....under serviced yet over priced...!!!! We're paid until August yet service ISN'T HAPPENING.!! This is the last straw!!! If you want a reliable service THEN DON'T USE THIS PLACE!!!! This is the 3rd time that our trash hasn't been picked up. Due to the snowplow trucks, we didn't put out the trash until morning, otherwise trash cans will be pushed over. When we called them, management COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THEIR SERVICE! After being placed on hold for several minutes, I was disconnected. I called back 2 more times and then opted for a call back in 15 minutes. The call never came. At 7:01am the next morning, they called me. I didn't answer the first call because I didn't recognize the number ( call was coming from California. I did pick up the second call at 7:06am and was immediately placed on hold for about 15 minutes when I hung up. TERRIBLE customer service! read more

This company is terrible. My grandfather passed away and I wanted to cancel the account. I was told to send in a dead certificate and I did. Then I got a last final demand notice for 70 dollars or they are sending the account to a collection agency. Good luck getting the money from my dead grandfather. read more

Five star Customer Service! We are so lucky to have such a great crew of professionals working for us over at Chardon Hauling center! I live in Richmond Heights, and my community was just re-assigned to Wast Management at the beginning of the month. Their pickups are always right on time, and they collect everything put out! I want to make a special note to say thank you to Pete, Brian , and the Crew Lead in my division for recovering a family heirloom that was accidentally placed out for collection today. I was besides myself when I realized that the porcelain figurine set was still inside of a cardboard box that was picked up. Thank you to great communication, attention to detail, and going the extra mile my box was found, and will be returned to me later today. I couldn't have asked for a more professional group of individuals to assist me today. Me, and my family thank you for the hard work that you do, and for going the extra mile for me today to recover such a valuable and sentimental family item. read more

Find another alternative! For two months I have tried to cancel my service. I've called multiple times. Each time I've been given a different story as to why i wasn't canceled and then promised it would happen. Today I called again and was told I was responsible for the charge that came after my initial phone call to cancel because.... "WM representatives have the discretion to cancel your account when they want to, not necessarily when you request. " What?????? I was also lied to during these other calls and when addressing that issue today, the rep admitted it happens and the other reps I talked to probably did it to others, but "our reps have that ability," Management approves of this tactic! Obviously they will do anything to force you to keep a service you don't need. I am now faced with a bill for services I asked to cancel two months previously. I am NOT on a time line contract and "locked in", either. A company choosing to ignore a customer's request to cancel and then taking more money is not a reputable company. These bad business practices are being sent to the BBB. Don't be taken like I was. Use another company!!! read more
