During that conversation, I asked what it would cost to add approximately 70 boxes to the move. John told me the cost would be "anywhere from $2 to $5 per box, depending on how big each box is." I told him I would discuss it with my husband and get back to him. Less than an hour later, I called back and spoke with Kevin, the General Manager, to let him know that we wanted to add the boxes. Kevin gave me a price that was above the $5-per-box range John had just quoted, with no consideration for the size of the boxes. I explained to Kevin exactly what John had told me only moments earlier. Instead of acknowledging the discrepancy or trying to find a reasonable solution, Kevin repeatedly told me that "the system doesn't quote like that," that John must have been giving me an average, or that perhaps I had misunderstood John. That was extremely frustrating. I was simply trying to resolve a pricing discrepancy between two people within the same company. Rather than taking ownership of the situation and working with me to find a reasonable solution, I felt as though the responsibility was being placed on me. At that point, I told Kevin that I was so frustrated with the sudden change in pricing and the way the situation was being handled that I wanted to cancel the entire move. Kevin did not attempt to resolve the issue or retain our business--he immediately took us off the schedule. Fortunately, we had enough flexibility with our move to take our business elsewhere. But I was genuinely surprised that a General Manager would handle a customer situation this way, particularly the day before a scheduled move. For a company with such high ratings, I expected much better customer service, communication, and transparency. My experience left me feeling that Leaders was not "leading" in those areas. I also have to question the company's "no hidden fees" claim based on this experience. From my perspective, the price changed after we had already committed to the company, and when I questioned the discrepancy, I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously. This review is based solely on my personal experience, but I would strongly recommend getting every price and every potential additional charge in writing before committing to a move with this company.

One Stop said they could come out today within the next four hours plus provide a free estimate. Exactly what I needed. Timing was perfect so how much will this cost? Over the phone they provided the size of the trailer which was 14' long x 8'wide x 4' high plus payment methods. Volume Scale Pricing is based on trailer space used. 1/4 of trailer is $199, 1/2 is $299 and full trailer is $499. When they arrive they review what you have and provide the cost before they begin work. If price is unacceptable your under no obligation. They just leave. Upfront pricing with no hidden cost. You can also text a picture of an item to get a fast estimate (separate number) plus you can book online. They haul all types of junk and debris and say no job is to big or small. Get rid of construction materials, furniture, hot tubs, office furniture, televisions, applicances or schedule residential and garage clean outs and shed demolition. Extremely heavy items uses Bed Load Pricing. Items like gravel, concrete, bricks, shingles and tree roots are considered heavy items. One Stop uses bed load pricing and trucks can only be loaded to a depth of 1 ft. Tires are subject to additional fees. The One Stop team called as promised 30 minutes to 1 hour ahead of arrival. They arrived on time and began evaluating the items I wanted removed. I had lumber, drywall, lawn mower, weed eater, television, a full shed with so many old odds and ends, a small inflatable pool plus miscellaneous items from the house. All broken and I could not donate. My load was going to be 1/2 the trailer. He discussed payments accepted (4% service fee for cards) and once I agreed to the price they began work. They worked quickly, carefully and before I knew it they were done. In around an hour everything was loaded with no lingering trash in the yard. All was tidy. FYI, tips are accepted on the card payment. I was very happy with the job and all I need to do now is sweep out the shed. I am absolutely ecstatic to have this task completed without issue. It was done quickly, safely and by two respectful men who took pride in their work. Thank you One Stop! The website states "We load the truck and haul away "ANYTHING" and just about "EVERYTHING". We used this company to move my mother and father to assisted living. The move went ok. Hoarder-ish if you will but neat and orderly and he still knows where everything is. Day of the move everything was moved from their houses to the facility safely. The guys were pleasant and engaging while the move was happening. They all talked and one of the dudes even told my dad and sister about their love of camping. My dad used to make these little picnic table condiment holders in the 70s and early 80s for extra money gave one to each of the movers plus $100 tip each when the job was completed. The big problem here is one of these two movers decided that my father didn't need his Jackery charger anymore and took it. We called the company and they offered this "We take any claim or allegation very seriously.   Therefore, we provided your comments to each of the movers on the job.     They both independently stated the same thing:    "It was a hoarding situation; charger is probably there; just cannot be found.     Other people were in the house as well.      Customer was with us the entire time.   We went in and out the front door the entire time, under customer supervision."       We also checked the truck that was used that day, and nothing was found.   We would ask that you check the home again as this is a hugely serious allegation.    If you chose to move forward by contacting the police, we will of course provide whatever information they request from us.       Sincerely,   --Anne Dietrich Parma Movers, Inc." It went on the cart the day he got it and has not left the cart since. He used it to charge his phone and other devices that assure his safety. He's a Vietnam vet with serious health issue due to Agent Orange exposure. He lived alone for many years and he knows where EVERYTHING is. He chose not to involve the Garfield Hts police. "It's only a $300 charger." $300 is a lot of money for a senior citizen on a budget. I'm pissed and will be glad to let the NE Ohio area know don't hire this company. They steal from elderly disabled vets. Pierre even offered to help "dispose of whatever is left" once the move was over. He gave my sister his number for some off the clock action. Look they even posed for a picture while they cased the joint. These two guys are the only non-family members that have been in dad's house for 20 years. Shame on which ever of you stole this from him. Figuring both of you are aware of what happened since you roll around in an open cab together.
