Great service. I've used several times. Sometimes it takes a while to get through on the phone.

I want to say thank you to truck 109994 ( I think) We got our recycle out late this morning and it was full, this week is when we get our handicapped adopted child's feeding supplies about 6-8 boxes of supplies and a big box that brings her diapers to us so the recycle bin was full. We realized we missed the truck but the WW truck stopped and picked up our recycle up at 3::15 pm I hear complaints all the about every service. I wanted to let every one know WW is great ! This is the absolute WORST place! NO ONE knows what they're talking about and according to them the supervisors have no authority over the driver's and it's up to the driver's whether they want to pick up or not. If they don't want to they don't have to and there's nothing that can be done about it except to wait until they do..if they do! Ridiculous! Been trying for a month to get a bulk pickup and a lid replacement for a bin and have guaranteed days and still nothing! I give them ZERO rating bc that's exactly what they have earned. If i could give 0 stars, i would. customer service does nothing but tell you to call a number. Completely useless. 3 days late to pick up a broken trash can that the truck keeps slamming down and breaking. Messaged the chat, and all they did was delete the old ticket and provide a new one, basically sweeping their issues under the rug. Now they tell me its an ADDITIONAL 5-7 days on top of the 4 days already with my broken trash can by the road at my house. I am not keeping a broken bin at my place for that long. Why pay these people at all if they break everything and dont provide solutions to their own issues. I rarely write reviews, but this has been such a horrible experience for something so seemingly simple. And instead of fixing it, they just delete and extend. If you can avoid this company, i suggest you do so. This CEO should look out for the people they are taking advantage of. read more

And yet again. Waste Management of Melbourne, FL didn't pick up recycling or garbage on Tuesday, Nov 11, which was Veterans Day. That's fine, of course, but they expect everyone to wait a full week--two weeks total--for the next pick-up? That's ridiculous and lousy business. On top of that, on the website under MyWM account, they state that they DID pick-up garbage and recycling on Nov 11. That would indicate they are padding their performance. read more

I don't understand the disconnect, you create a bulk ticket and have a date scheduled and they come, drive by and don't pick anything up. Every single time we have a bulk pick up or yard waste pick up it is the same thing. If these guys don't want to pick up trash they need to find a different job. The collections have to be escalated to a supervisor to actually get a collection. read more

I don't know what has happened but over the last year service has been terrible. Last time it was missed pick ups then nasty note put on our cans. Broke the lid to recycle and today Recycle truck driver yelling at My sister in law (who doesn't even live here) and still didn't pick up the recycling. I'm over it. This is a management problem because there is no accountability for terrible attitude drivers and there is a lack of concern for the customers. read more

I would give WM 0 stars if I could. Honestly- I wish I could find a different garbage service company as they are AWFUL! We live in a neighborhood where people park on the side of the road- out of our control. I always try to put my recycling in an area where cars can't park. Today, they refused to pick up my recycling as a car was 4 ft from my can (not my car!!!). While I understand this isn't the drivers issue either- here's the part that infuriated me. The driver took the time to draw a picture of how our cans should be placed, get out of his truck, and wire tie the picture TO MY CAN. Then- drove away without picking up my recycling. He literally got out to do that, probably took 15 min with the detail of his drawing- and didn't even bother to move the can .5 ft where he says he could have gotten it. Seriously? Then when I called to tell them they need to arrange another pick up- they told me that was nice of the driver took draw a picture for us. What????? Wish I could give them zero stars. Their bulk pick-up services are terrible. Long wait time on the phone, no response on their "chat" option and unable to find anyone who can actually give an answer. You are totally at their Mercy if you need a bulk pick up, they really don't seem to care. So frustrating! read more

This place is horrible every time they come to empty our neighborhoods trash they squeeze the trash cans so hard it always leaves a bag of trash in the can and now it's cracked on our new trash can.they don't take this time to actually empty the trash. And every time our cans are tipped over down the whole street. I miss real trash men and not these lasy button pushers. read more

The customer service for this company was the worst I ever had with in company in 58 years in business. Hope you don't need anything from them because you will spend hours on the phone and not get anything done. Once you get out of what I call the Digital circle where it just keeps transferring you to different recorded selections. You will never get a person. Constantly missing recycling pickups resulting in a buildup of waste. Terrible customer service and no effort to rectify.

WM used to be responsive to missed pickups - there were times when the driver missed my section of the neighborhood. Lately, they have missed or skipped pickups more than making the pickup. Many of the skipped pickups are due to my neighbors and their parking into the street, but that is beyond my control. The solution from customer service was for me to tell the neighbors of the issue. It isn't my issue to enforce their rules. I am not concerned about whether they sometimes skipped my neighbor's pick-up due to their parking, but my pick-up is a contract between WM and myself. Why should I pay full price for pick-ups that don't happen? You can't tell them it is an issue until the end of the day, and if you report problems after the end of the day, they will not act for at least one business day - or two if the missed is on Thursday so you can't report until Friday (the following "business day" is Monday). When I reported the last missed pick-up, they said a driver came by the next day, and the bin was not outside - this is false. I offered to show them a video of the bin outside, as I have cameras that cover the entirety of my front yard and driveway. read more

Waste Management of Merritt Island is THE BEST!!! I called for some guidance and Claire helped me immediately and solved my problem. And Waste Management followed through on the date given to me and picked up the bulk load I had. Claire was pleasant, helpful and professional. She was also very knowledgeable about how to help me. I also got to speak to her Supervisor, Katrina, who also was very helpful and professional. Claire was a joy to talk to and Claire is definitely an asset to Waste Management. And Katrina, the Supervisor, is also an asset to Waste Management. Claire made what could have been a very challenging experience into a very fun-filled and happy experience. We were laughing and made the best of the steps and time it took to help me and guide me to a solution. THANK YOU, CLAIRE AND KATRINA, FOR ALL OF YOUR TIME, CONSIDERATION AND EXPERTISE!!! read more

Horrible service. I scheduled bulk service MULTIPLE times for the same items. When I call to check on status of the pick up, the recording says my items were picked up yet they are still sitting in my driveway. They bold face lie. I've called several times, and my request has been "escalated" each time without resolution. I am at their mercy. My HOA has complained to me about the items still in my driveway for over two weeks. What is a person to do? Who can enforce this service to perform? If I could, I would rate zero stars for Waste Management. read more

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in our county. you cannot get the same exact person to validate the same information. no one really knows what is going on when pick up day is when bulk pick up is what they will pick up, etc. I made an appointment for the fourth week in a row for bulk pick up and still our garbage is just sitting out in front of our house not only that today the garbageman knocked over a huge planner that was going to be picked up for bulk and it was at the end of our driveway did not even stop after he knocked it over. Then my fiancé flagged him down and he denied even doing it when other people saw him do it and I'm sure it's on someone's camera. He proceeds to tell my fiancé that the bulk pick up people will come, and clean it up. Well, not only did they not clean it up. We made our kids do it in the boat people never even showed up at all, even though we had a scheduled appointment as of last week. read more

I love our collectors. They are always nice and polite. It is the company that is horrible. I called SEVEN times today to ask that the guys pick up their Christmas tips that I have taped to the inside of the container (Brevard makes it impossible to tip these guys at the holiday). Last year they told me to tape it to the outside of the container and they were stolen. Nobody answers the phone...you get put into a queue and then you are cut off. SEVEN TIMES! When I finally asked for bill payment, someone finally answered and I asked for a supervisor. I got Brad, who told me this wasn't his job! I told him to call that number and see if he could reach a human. He said he does not do that. Really? If I treated my clients like this, I wouldn't have any. And I am trying to do a nice thing, and they make me jump through hoops and NEVER DELIVER the messages! I am beyond frustrated. I might have to set up outside and just wait for the guys every Christmas because Brevard does not care one bit. read more
