Although the line is usually long for a dump run, once you get checked in- unloading is pretty quick. The people that check your id and take payment are always kind and try their hardest to make the line go quicker. It is so nice they offer 4 free dump runs a year to homeowners. They are in the middle of town which makes it easy to get to. We recently learned that Waste Management customers are allowed four free trash dumps per calendar year. We are clearing out things from our house that sadly cannot be recycled or donated so we decided to try out the dump service today. As you pull into this location on Commercial Row, on one side of the street there is a place for people to drop off recyclables and metals, and on the other side of the street you can pull in to dump all the other non-hazardous stuff. It was an easy process. We pulled in kind of like a drive through where someone from a little hut came out to greet us. She was kind and informative! I presented my ID as the account holder and a copy of our most recent bill. She went inside the hut presumably to note our visit on our account. She also advised that we have three more opportunities available this calendar year and then we will have four opportunities starting again in January. We only waited in our vehicle a few moments when another worker waved at us to drive in the building. We were instructed to back in next to a row of other vehicles with people doing the same thing we were (only they were lucky to have pickup trucks and could bring more while we just had our Honda Pilot). Everyone was literally dumping their trash into a large pit! We were done in no time and will try to make use of our other opportunities before the year is out. read more

I spent 25ish minutes on hold, then spoke with a woman who promised to rush one out...on Monday, six days from now. "Got no can," I said. It's been a rather significant amount of time since I visited this place for a dump run. But, we had a lot of stuff to get rid of recently. We were able to use our landlord/owner's free dumps and had no issues. The gentleman at the booth was very friendly and quick to get our information together. They weren't busy in the morning so it was a relatively quick trip. It's easy to back in and toss your garbage over the rail - kind of therapeutic actually haha. read more

My container was not completely emptied at last pickup. I called and they pretty much said it was my fault and would not return to pick up remainder but I could put out extra bags at next pickup. Supposedly my fault for stuffing bottom to tightly which was not so. Did not care that I was unhappy with the result of my complaint. I received a senior discount when I set up my account in 2012 which was stop about 2 years later and the rate have continued to increase with a $5 increase this month while the service is unacceptable. read more

Can fell in to truck during pick up. Didn't notify me!! Reported it missing on the app said it would take by the seven business days. So I called them. The lady that I spoke to had me on speakerphone. I explained the situation she told me that I could put bags out on the curb. She said they will deliver a new can on my pick up day. Told her that isn't going to help me. I asked her if she was going to send me stickers and I was told no. She said that she would leave a note on my account for the driver to pick up any bags, even if they didn't have stickers. When I asked if there was a credit or compensation coming to me for the inconvenience she told me we don't compensate our credit for inconvenience. So we'll see what happens next Thursday. read more

Customer service joined a chat and hasn't responded AT ALL to ANY requests that I'm making. How fucking hard is it to answer this question? Waste Management is the absolute worst. We've always had not the best experience with them but not a lot you can do since it's the only trash company allowed in town. This last week took the cake though They Missed our trash pick up on our regular day even though it was out the night before. Spent three different times on hold for over an hour trying to talk to someone. Was assured on Tuesday that they would do a missed pickup run on Wednesday. Friday still no pick up. Now we have two weeks worth of trash from a large family sitting out on the street WITH EXCESS TRASH stickers on another container. Called again in today, waited an hour. Finally talked to a lady. She was speaking to me so quietly I could barely hear her but her tone was dripping with sarcasm and condescension, I explained the situation. we were supposed to have a dumpster picked up last week, they never showed and they claimed they picked it up. we called and scheduled to have it picked up this week AGAIN. the driver finally showed up today and refused to drive to location of dumpster claiming that something was in his way. two of our employees approached him and said they would move it right away, he completely disregarded them and continued to reverse without giving them a chance. considering the amount of money they charge we would expect better service. we have never had a problem with them before in the past 8 years than we have in the last two weeks. read more

I rarely ever write negative reviews. But I am so fed up with Waste Management and their terrible customer service. I used my last three "overflow" stickers on three bags of yard debri. I put them on my bags last night, and out to the curb for our garbage day today. I don't know what happened to the stickers, but my guess is they did not "stick" to the trash bags and blew off in the gale force winds sparks had last night. So the bags were left in the roadway and never picked up. After 30 minutes on the phone with them, most of it on hold, I was just told there is nothing they will do, and I have to purchase more stickers. Are you freaking kidding me???? I did everything I was supposed to, but because of something out of my control, they are punishing me and telling me I have to buy more stickers? What ever happened to taking care of your customers? Why would I lie about putting stickers on my bags? I follow all of the "rules" and always abide by the standards. And this is the treatment I get after being a loyal customer for 10 years. Unreal. Waste Management is a disgrace. They treat their customers like crap because they know there is no other option for garbage removal in this area. I do not have the money to purchase extra stickers. The saga continues. After Waste Management neglected to pick up my trash yesterday, I spoke with customer service. I was assured someone would be out today to pick it up. At 4:00 I called because it hadn't been picked up. Customer service said no one was available to pick it up. I asked to speak with a supervisor. Kathleen got on the phone. She saw the notes from the call yesterday. She apologized but said there was no provision for sending someone out. She offered to pick up three free bags next week. Since I rarely fill up the container halfway, I declined. I asked for by bill to be adjusted appropriately. She agreed to make that happen. We'll see. Maybe if everyone insisted on their bills being adjusted will hit Waste Management so that the accounting department takes notice. read more
