Customer service are liars. When I called to report a missed pickup (every other week since moving in) they say I have the pleasure of waiting 24-48 hours. Usually doesn't come and I just have to wait till next pickup date and cross my fingers. Brandy said they couldn't credit my account even though the other supervisor/manager did it last week under the same circumstances. Zero follow up. Missed pickup has never been explained. WM promised to replace our disintegrated trash and recycling receptacles "in 4 to 5 business days." I called to say no cans had appeared in nearly 3 weeks. Impossible to reach a human. I left a VM stating the situation. The phone menu asked, did I want to be called back at [it accurately repeated my phone number]? I said yes. The recorded voice said to expect a call within 15 minutes. No call, for days afterward. I repeated the process, asked for callback. Again, though promised within 15 minutes, no callback 5 days later. Still no cans, no callback. I'll urge the city council not to renew WM's contract. read more

I'd give 0 stars if I could. Missed my recycle pick up on a Monday, but did get all my neighbors cans. They only pick up recycling every other week and my bin is very full. I've spent every day since then, 10 days now, contacting them and they kept telling me it would be picked up that day. Finally after 10 days they now say nope, but guns pick it up till next regular pick up day. They could have told me that and I wouldn't have spent hours trying to get resolution. WM failed to pick up my trash on the 17th. I called and automated system said that it had been picked up. I waited to talk to a human. The human said it would be picked up, at the latest, by COB on the 18th. I returned from work on the 18th and it was still in the road. I called and had a human say that it was picked up (a lie). I told her it wasn't and she then stated that someone would come and get my trash by COB on the 19th. I asked for management to call me. I have yet to get a call. I requested that a full heavy bag of trash that appeared in my driveway on trash day in RR be picked up. The bag of trash did not belong to me. I called WM and was told that it would be pickup the day I called. It was still there in the AM, so I called WM again. Was told once again, it will be picked up that day. It was not picked up by 2pm on 7/31/25, so I called again. This time, I was told by WM, it was not going to be picked up because they had already serviced my trash bin the day before. I was told, if I wanted WM to pick up this bag, that I would be charged a fee for them to come back out to pick it up. Or, they said, I could put it in my trash bin for it to be picked up on the next trash day. I explained again, the bag of trash did not belong to me, why should I be charged a fee for WM to come back and pick it up? I also said I was not going to put it in my trash bin because my trash bin was for my trash and not for the lowlife that made the disposable of his or her trash someone else's responsibility. I then asked how much WM would charge to come back out to pick up the bag of trash. I was told , "because of the HOA in your area, we can only come out on the date trash is suppose to be picked up". OMG. WHAT! Who is responsible here? Certainly not me. I was just the unlucky resident who happened to end up with a bag full of trash that I was not responsible for. It is absolutely incomprehensible that WM did not accept any accountability for the removal of the trash bag, instead all I heard was lies and excuses. Are they not in the waste management business? I requested over one week ago for waste Management to deliver a 15 yard roll off dumpster, so I could clean up my storage shed. I was on the phone for over 1 and 1/2 hours this morning being transferred around because nobody knows what they're doing and do not know how to understand English!! At the time I am writing this complaint online I still don't have a phone call from waste Management to confirm my order the one they were supposed to have done over a week ago. I asked repeatedly to speak to a manager which they don't have and the girl that was supposed to call me has not called me back. In other words everybody messed up nobody does anything. Now I'm looking for a different company that can throw away my waist and deliver what I need. read more

I removed the carpet, pad and tack strips from 3 bedrooms and a hallway in my home. Trying to use the normal garbage pick up once a week would have taken forever so I made a trip to the landfill, once and done. First, bring a copy of your waste management bill. You can go in once a month with residential waste at no charge. I didn't have a bill or time to go back home and get a copy. And, of course, I couldn't remember my password to login so I just paid the $22.95. This is not a place for a car. Best if you have a truck or 4 wheel drive. You'll need to go up to the top of the landfill to drop off your garbage. It will be tough on a car. Be realistic, it's dusty, dirty and smells. I wouldn't go if it has rained. The mud would be a nightmare. The guy at the scale was really nice. He tried to get me to go home and get a copy of my bill to save me the money. I appreciated that. read more

Pulled up to window presented DL and a utility bill for my free trash dump. Easy in easy out. They hand you a card with a number which you return once your done. You get 1000lbs a month as a Rio Rancho resident. Not a bad perk. read more

Very easy to dump as long as you can read the instructions. Which are straight forward . One of the cleanest landfills I have been to

This place is gross and hard to get to. No directional signs. They weigh your vehicle upon entry, then again upon exit, but don't show you the weight. Too bad there's no other landfills close. The landfill that I normally use was closed, so I tried this one. After a long drive up the dirt road, you have to drive onto the garbage to dump your trash. I was glad that I had AWD otherwise I would have gotten stuck in the soft dirt and garbage. The smell was disgusting...yeah I know it's a landfill but it's much more intense when you are on top of the garbage. And to top it off I had to pay $16 to dump one car load of trash! This is not an appropriate place for residents to dump trash. read more
