Every business is required to post state and federal rules for hourly rate employees. There are none posted anywhere. The owner Joe makes up rules in order to suite his company's unwritten rules and policies. They are very disorganized. And their communications lack professional standards. Most of the employees are from AB May Plumbing. There is little regard for OSHA work place safety standards, pulling permits, following uniform code standards. Just get the job done, collect the money and get out of there. They are really good at being fake with people and will tell you everything you want to hear just to get a customer to sign on the dotted line. I spent an entire day waiting for a ladder tall enough to reach a certain height at a customers home. What happened was placing a ladder on top of saw houses. A water line was placed next to an electric outlet. By code that outlet needed a GFCI protection. Joe played dumb when I told him. I did how ever informed that customer. If this is how they treat their employees. They certainly rip off their customers with very high labor and materials with a huge mark up of 100 to 200 % if not more. To support their other endeavors such as raising cattle and pigs. Harley Davidson motor cycles. He may say I'm a disgruntled employee. Let me tell you. I owed and operated my own plumbing company. I have many years of experience, many certifications, continue education courses. I caught him in lies and fabricated stories. He even made up some story I never said in order to flip the script or defect the attention off him and back on me. I had to get the Holden police involved to get my tools back. He told the police lies that I was threatening him and other employees. I only threatened him with the department of labor state and federal level, Code enforcement rules and regulations, and OSHA work place safety standards. All I wanted was my tools and Todd, His other employee, and him would not make arrangements to get me my tools so I could do the job I was hired for. The BNI ( Business Networking Group) was way more important than me getting my tools back so I could do my job. Joe's management skills are definitely something less than " Professional" his only goal is his wallet. I have so much experience and education. I had a job that same day he fired me. A word to the wise. Check your contractor out. Make sure they are authorized to work in your County jurisdiction with a business license in each country Pickle Plumbing operates. Make sure you inform code enforcement in your county. Code enforcement is there to protect you the customer and to make sure the job is done right.

The plumber came out and explained that he could not install the new faucet at that time because of the siding work. He removed the old faucet and told me he would come back to install the replacement. I paid $240 upfront for the job. Once I had the new 1/2-inch MIP faucet ready, I contacted him and sent him a picture. He told me, "I can stop by this Friday." Friday came and he did not show up. Since then, I have repeatedly texted asking when he is coming back. My messages have gone unanswered. It has now been two weeks, the job I paid for is still unfinished, and I am left trying to chase down the plumber just to get a response. I understand that schedules change. What I do not understand is taking full payment upfront, promising to return, not showing up, and then ignoring repeated messages from a customer. I have screenshots of the communication showing the promised return date and my multiple attempts to follow up. At this point, I simply want the job I paid $240 for completed or my money refunded. Professionally responed to our request and confirmed the appointment. Step 2. Contacted by Sales Representative named Justin to introduce himself and confirm appointment. Justin showed up and in layman's terms discussed our options to address our water quality and how it would address our health needs. We moved forward by renting the system. Justin scheduled our install date. Step 3. Jordan, our installer showed up. Wow what a worker! Whoever thought a whole house water treatment system could enhance the look of a basement? Probably one of the most meticulous workers I have seen in YEARS! I remember a time when businesses counted on Customer First Service to grow. Sales mgr Mr. Fullerton sent out Justin to test the water. He said it was fine, of course he would say that. On 9/10/26, they sent out Joe and I discussed our issues and he said the issues were caused by having no chlorine in the water, and blah, blah, blah. Told me to get a chlorine tablet to put in toilet to keep dark ring away (not working), also suggested that I buy an enzyme "Uproot" to put in my 4 yo. washer (not working), I still have spots on glassware, windows, clothes have a funk smell, toilet still has a dark ring. etc. Justin blamed the office saying they didn't run my system through a thorough rinse of the charcoal filter and Joe talked very disrespectfully about Justin. Joe was more interested in selling me a monthly service plan than fixing the issue. So very disappointed and would never recommend the Culligan water system to anyone. They take your money and that's the end of your Culligan relationship.
