After switching to an AI phone system, my VIP HVAC assessment got rescheduled three times. When a technician finally came, he disconnected my thermostat from the AC without telling me and left. I discovered it after he was gone. I called immediately, was told someone would come by end of day, and no one showed. Hours of calls went to an answering service that just took messages nobody returned. By 8pm, with two young kids and no AC, I had to troubleshoot it myself, climbing into the attic to find the switch he'd flipped. When I reported it, customer care offered to waive a cancellation fee I didn't even want and nothing else. No apology, no follow-up from leadership, and it took days of pushing just to get the $130 service charge waived. As a single parent with no backup, I paid for dependability.
