Discovered my water heater had went out over night and was leaking all over my garage. Called Water Heater Express out of the blue at 8 a.m. and they were at my door by 9:30. After assessing the situation and taking a few measurements I was given an estimate which was right in align with what I was thinking I would be spending. So, I told them to go ahead and do it. The tech said he was going to go get my new heater and asked if I could move a few things. Seems like I just got done moving stuff and he was back already, very quick. Now, my water softener was in his way too so he had to disconnect it and move it out of his way. All in all he was on his way by 11:45! This includes going to get the water heater, disconnecting and moving the water softener, installing the heater, reinstalling the softener, getting the unit going, clean up, and informing me as to how everything works. TL;DR: Same day service, punctual, professional, knowledgable, great prices Several months ago our water heater stopped working. I called a different plumber at that time and spent 4 hours and $400 on replacing the heating elements in my water heater. Last weekend I went out of town and came back to no hot water. Not wanting to spend a ridiculous amount of money like last time I used yelp to look for other water heater companies in the area. Jeremy called me within 20 minutes of requesting a quote and was able to diagnose my issue in five minutes over the phone. He walked me through my options and I decided to get a new water heater. My water heater unexpectedly quit one morning. I called Water Heater Express and they came out same day to install new equipment. I was very impressed with how Jeremy explained the different options. I had my heart set on a tankless heater because, in theory, they sound so wonderful. Wow, I can have hot water on demand, never running out of hot water. With our family, we are constantly using the washer (about 3 loads/day), running the dishwasher, using the shower, and filling up our large soaking tub. Having enough hot water has always been a problem. By listening to my needs, Jeremy came back with a recommendation, and much to my surprise it did not include a tankless system. Woke up Friday morning and my 18 year old water heater was leaking and not providing any hot water. After reading reviews of various water heater companies my 1st choice was Water Heater Express. In addition to the positive reviews I was also drawn to them because they are a veteran owned local company. I left a message and shortly thereafter I received a return call from the owner. He gave me a fair price, outlined the entire process, gave me an opportunity to ask questions and said he could replace my water heater later that afternoon. I said lets do it. The owner and his son came as promised, installed the new unit in less than hour and took the old unit away. I was very impressed with the whole process. I received a Quality Bradford White heater, the installers were friendly and professional, they gave me a lot of information and answered my questions. Our water heater was going out and we needed a new one fast. I had my wife make some calls and get a quote. When another local company came out, they quoted my wife nearly double what it should have cost. When I arrived the SALESMAN changed his tone. He tried telling me that they were the only way we could get our brand of water heater, and a bunch of other lies. I let the guy continue to dig a deeper hole for a bit, but when he told my wife and I he could only guarantee the price until 11 the next day that was it. We are actually in Lafayette, IN - not sure why it shows CA We had an issue with our water heater in the middle of the day on a Saturday so we called Jeremy directly and he talked through some of the possible issues (via text) in a very thorough and helpful way and then offered to replace our water heater by 5 pm that day. We ended up needing to schedule for the next day but he arrived on a Sunday and promptly went to work. He is very knowledgeable and went above and beyond for us as we were also dealing with issues with the gas company. In the end, he had to come back out and do some follow-up because of the gas company and he was great. The furnace tech surprised me with his report that my water heater was leaking. I called the number and spoke with Jeremy. He didn't dispatch anybody to come later; he came himself and got it replaced the same day. Rated as the "strangest one ever," he had to lay the broken and replacement water heaters down to drag them through a crawl space sized opening. No protests, no complaining, he just got it done. I came home one night, to find my carpet soaking wet. The time was around 8pm, and no body in town would answer the phone, or rewritten my urgent call, except water heater express.
