Wave Ride'n Rentals has brand new equipment, and they also don't have a specific location so they have several lakes they can drop off your rental at (they meet you there). You can do everything over text message so you don't have to call if you don't want. Just text the number showing on their Yelp page there. As for the waverunner experience itself, it's fun and easy. You can go really fast. You have to stay 50 feet away from other boats etc. The Wave Ride'n Rentals person that dropped off your waverunner will wait for you to finish your session and then you just take it back to the dock and he picks you up. He walks you through it so it's not hard. The only thing I would recommend is, if you go to a big lake, before you drive off in the waverunner, tell Siri to save your location (or take a screenshot). That way you can figure out how to get back if you get a bit lost! Oh also, they provide life vests and all that so all you have to bring is yourself and whoever is riding with you, some sunglasses, and your phone. We never fell in but they acted like that is a possibility, so maybe wear swim trunks etc. Have fun! Highly recommend this business. Great experience!

I reserved paid in full, then got a message about the jet skis being out of commission due to an accident from the party before me- less than 2 hours before my rental (easter weekend). I did not get upset like accidents happen i get that. The driver said management would be in touch to confirm refund. I sent the screen shot to the email and asked to confirm refund. Called the number on the website- not in use anymore. Called and left the message with the number on the receipt- left message saturday, sunday and monday- called tuesday just didnt leave a message. I also texted and texted the driver to help get in contact with management. Its crazy that i still have yet to hear back and there wasnt even apology for the inconvenience of the holiday weekend having to be completely hail maryed to entertain my kids. im still wating on management and a refund confirmation.

I booked the family package online through their website link a week before our arrival. Online booking was easy to navigate. Received confirmation of booking next day, and reminders the day before. They responded to my questions as well prior to arrival. Everything went smooth and beyond my expectations-the jet skis are as if they bought them yesterday. Even the life jackets were in perfect shape! Two of us drove over to ramp #17 where Javier had them all set up in the water and ready (thankful for that--as the line to launch was insane, had about 15 trucks waiting at 10:40am). He went over everything with us, how to connect the phones, use the auto wake, use the walkie-talkie if we needed him etc...Javier also provided us a rope and anchor so we could tie off in the water out by our RV site where we had a tent along the banks for water and sunblock breaks. Both the kids and adults had a blast!! Next summer when we come back, we will definitely use them again. So thankful they appeared in my fb search. They are just getting started, it's a family business (Israel & Javier are brothers). Book with them, you won't regret it!

After booking, the owner informed me it was required and that my options were to pay it or cancel the trip. I contacted Getmyboat support, but they told me owners set their own fees, and I ultimately felt I had no realistic choice but to pay since our trip was only a few days away. I was also originally told I could pay the gratuity in cash on the day of the trip, but a few days beforehand I was told it had to be paid in advance through Venmo. On the day of the trip, the boat arrived about 20 minutes late for pickup, and I found the captain to be unprofessional. He smoked weed and drank during the chatter and made us stop on the way back so he could jump into the water to urinate. The boat itself was exactly what we expected, but the lack of transparency about mandatory fees and the overall professionalism left a negative impression. I hope future guests are informed of all required charges before booking so they can make an informed decision. Even with private reviews and information given the owners never reached out or apologized for the whole experience. Would not recommend this place

In our 2 hours we made it down to Mansfield Dam and then over to the 360 bridge before coming back to the dock. The jet ski worked flawlessly and we had a ton of fun.
