A man named " Shaun" walked the bags down while an additional 2 men roamed the dock. My friend was distracted by "Shaun" (who changes $8 per bag of ice) while other 2 men were near the captains seat. Anytime we asked Captain Matt who they were he would walk away ignoring the question completely. Captain Matt kept saying it will turn out in a bag somewhere. He was sure to mention multiple times we needed to tip and encouraged us to figure out an alternative payment.

Martin replied quickly and thoroughly via text, and we were able to make a less than 6 hour booking work. To our surprise, Martin wasn't just our captain, he's also the owner of Splash Weird! For a 3-hour rental, the total was $720, which included the captain, a lily pad, and gratuity (though additional tips are always appreciated)!! The launch point is in Lake Travis at Mansfield Dam Park. Since it's a public, county park, you're required to pay $5pp upon entry (CASH ONLY). Once inside, make sure to park on the left side for the closest access to the dock! Unfortunately, as of 9/18/25, the dock is closed for maintenance--so Martin will launch the boat with you already on board!

When I called they wanted me to come bring the jet ski to the shore - I'm literally stuck in the middle of the lake! Eventually my friends go grab him and bring him over. This company has zero resources; we got lucky, two guys on a boat saw us and helped tow the jet ski. Spent more time on the jet ski being towed than actually riding it. Once we got to the shore, they didn't give me extra time or another jet ski, didn't return a dime from my rental payment and accused me for breaking their jet ski. Literally blamed me in front of other customers. For someone who absolutely loves jet skiing this was the worst experience ever! I won't be renting from them again.

Our group of 4 had a great experience renting a pontoon. Now don't go looking for 5 star, red…read morecarpet service. It's no frills, but the staff is friendly and they give you what you need for a good time. We are not experienced boaters, but that wasn't an issue because the staff provided a quick training on how to drive the boat. Unlike many other company's renting boats in the area, you can rent for an hour if you want. Many other require 3-4 hour minimums, which can get pricey, especially if you'd prefer a short excursion. There is free parking there and the pontoon we rented had a bluetooth system for playing music too. You can't beat their prices, so overall value is A+ in my book. If I'm in the ATX area again, I'll return.

Follow-Up Review - Still No Response I'm disappointed to see…read morethat my previous review, which raised serious concerns about the hazardous conditions after the flooding (including bacteria, debris, and water contamination), was completely ignored. Since then, I've noticed that other reviews -- posted after mine -- have received responses, even if their issues were less severe. It feels like the company is more focused on public image and money than on addressing actual safety concerns. There has been no accountability or acknowledgment of the risks people faced, and no effort to reach out or reassure those who were directly impacted. If you care about your well-being, especially in unpredictable weather conditions like what we experienced in Texas, think twice. People's health and safety should come before profit -- but unfortunately, that hasn't been the case here.
