I have a thing about places that don't do this. So I was very happy. Very busy in the morning because, I think, the willow bakery across the street is nothing to write home about. Or review. So.....I won't. Not many non-chain places to eat here so you'll probably end up here if you want a good breakfast

We enjoyed the adjoining shop and their selection of jams and spread. The wait was worth it! The room is a bright large room overlooking the river. Handmade quilts hang from the ceiling. We started with nachos, that had the right blend of cheese and toppings. Unfortunately there were no side plates brought, causing us to eat like animals from a common trough. A slight mishap with a spilled glass of water interrupted our otherwise pleasant appetizer. The server's attention was less than prompt causing us to get extra napkins from directly behind the counter. Still, we soldiered on and prepared for the main feast. The seafood chowder was one of the better ones all trip. Fresh and flavourful pieces in a cream broth, served with a fresh side biscuit. The real opportunity is to highlight the delicious jams and spreads from the shop which would add some much needed flavour to the biscuits. Other meals included kids pasta, kids jam sandwich, a club sandwich, fish cakes and a Caesar salad. All were promptly devoured. A great location with fresh food and pleasant service. Worth the wait!

Most of the time chowder at restaurants are very watery and there's only small pieces of seafood floating around in the bowl. This chowder was very chunky and absolutely filled with huge pieces of seafood. This was my first lobster roll and I was not disappointed. It was so tasty, not too much mayo, large pieces of lobster all in a soft roll. The fish and chips wasn't spectacular like the other two dishes but good enough and the crinkle cut fries were perfect. Perhaps the server wasn't having a good day but eventually her mood lightened up just a bit. I'm not sure if having the manager was sitting at a table going through numbers/reports contributed to her improved service.

If you are in Summerside and are looking for a lobster roll that's tasty and good value, this is your spot. for 8.95 + tax you get a toasted hot dog bun overflowing with tasty lobster (see the picture) with your choice of side. One of us had fries, the other potato salad. The potato salad was almost as good as mom's. I've paid twice as much at a restaurant for a lobster roll that wasn't half as good and only had about half as much lobster. If you're looking for a home style breakfast or lunch for a great price, this is your go to place.

It is a fantastic offering for students or those who want a fresh lunch and high quality wrap. You start off by choosing white or whole wheat pita, your meat selection then fill it up with fresh veggies and then finish it off with one of their many sauces. How can one not like that? My choice was my classic Chicken souvlaki. Just the right amount of flavour without being too over garlicky it had crunch from fresh vegetables and tang from the sauce I had selected. On my visit I noticed PP has taken it to an even higher level by offering yoghurt fruit smoothies. So I had to test one also with my wrap. It was seriously delicious and you leave here feeling like you made a conscious healthy lunch choice that is not very expensive. A great option for lunch, light dinner or late night snack. With a smoothie it came in a shade over $12 which is totally respectable for lunch.
