I want to preface this review that I am an extra picky person when it comes to places I like to…read moretake my kids so you might want to take my review with a grain of salt.. We visited for the first time a couple weeks ago for a trial class for both my kids. I picked a day of the week where they could both take a class at the same time. Pros: *the teachers were great! *The kiddy pool that the kids can play in before/after is fun for them. Cons: *it's connected to the gym right behind it and apparently the gym goers get to use the same pool facility. There was a couple weird/creepy looking old men in small swimsuits that were using some of the lanes in the biggest pool, that didn't make me feel comfortable as a mom. *there was a man who was either an owner or manager, he had long hair and he looked like a creepy guy as well, which sets off my mom radar (when you work around kids for a living, you should be very aware of the appearance you put off to parents), I will say he did kindly ask how our class was.. *this place is hot and humid as all heck inside where you sit to be close to your young kids, we only had a 30 minute class but it felt like forever and I was sweating everywhere but the time we left. Just not a good fit for us.

Tony didn't even blink and jumped into the pool to teach him. My son was so happy! Tony knows all the kids names and is very engaging with parents. All the instructors are very knowledgeable and you see results after just one lesson.

I have had a very difficult time working with this swim school from the beginning. I signed up for…read moreprivate lessons and was contacted the evening before asking if we could switch times and when we arrived no one was there and our lesson started 10 minutes late, I had booked two private lessons but ultimately my kids had to share an instructor for the first half of lessons and then were finally split up so we really didn't get the benefit of two private lessons but had to still pay as if we received two private lessons. Then I signed my kids up for group lessons, my daughter who is in level 2 had a great experience whereas my son in level 1 was left unattended in the small wading area the majority of the time and had less than five minutes of instruction time and otherwise was completely unattended playing. I decided to give it another shot and signed up for an additional month of lessons and the first lesson I signed up for although it was advertised as March on the site ultimately when I purchased it showed February in the Email confirmation so my enrollment was not active, but the charge was in my account. I immediately emailed to get it corrected as February lessons had already ended and we had already attended them but received no reply. I went ahead and signed my other child up for March lessons and after a week and several emails and voicemails that had not had any reply I went ahead and signed my son up for the March lessons in order to secure a spot while still trying to remedy the situation. Two weeks later, six emails, two voicemails and multiple texts later I received only response via text with a promise to resolve the duplicate of charge which ultimately was never resolved and none of my emails were ever replied to once. There is often last-minute communication about being shortstaffed, classes that need to change times and all sorts of chaos it seems to be happening all the time and they apparently don't monitor the email system whatsoever or just make a choice not to reply to people. I think the instruction in private lessons is good, but the chaos of working with this company isn't worth it.

Instead, they expect very young kids to conform to a rigid teaching style, regardless of how it affects them. I eventually requested to cancel our membership. I hadn't planned to share how disappointed I was, I just wanted to walk away quietly. But when the receptionist pressed for a reason, I calmly explained that it simply wasn't a good fit for my family. Her response? She told me my 3-year-old daughter was "too sensitive." That was not only completely unprofessional, but also incredibly inappropriate. I wasn't asking for feedback. I was trying to protect my child from an environment where the teacher was far too serious for a toddler and clearly not the right match. Swimming should be fun, especially at this age. Period. This place missed the mark, and then doubled down on the failure by dismissing a parent's concern. We won't be back.

When we decided to stop attending, management showed no willingness to offer a refund--instead, they only provided a credit for future use. What they don't make clear is that using that credit later requires paying a new enrollment fee, which feels very misleading. Overall, we're frustrated with both the lack of results and the poor customer service.

Listen, I wasn't sure about this experience at first because heights? Me? Ooof. But this energetic,…read moreprofessional, kind, and extremely talented crew made the experience something to rave about. In fact, now I can totally see why people want to run away and join the circus!! Nestled right off of Collister and State in Boise, ID and with a super cute sign to boot, the crew was so welcoming. We started with warming up our shoulders then gratefully got to practice on a hanging bar much closer to the ground. They were there every step of the way with smiles and encouragement. I felt incredibly safe from start to finish and could tell that I was in very good hands. After a practice session and detailed step by step run through of how we would "launch", it was time to climb that ladder 25' up into the air. Sound scary? Yes, yes it was. But don't worry, you're in a harness and there is a safety line all the way up! Standing on that platform my heart was beating so hard but the instructors are just so awesome that I was expertly guided step by step until standing at the edge of the platform with the bar in my hands...it was time to fly!!! Now I have to tell you, I'm not an adrenaline junkie, I don't "like" extreme sports and I usually get carsick...ha. but you know what? Once I hopped off of that platform and the guide at the bottom was calling instructions, my body delivered and I felt like I've never felt before. My smile was just WAY too big while doing a flip dismount that I had to do nothing but follow orders to accomplish. I couldn't have felt more alive, accomplished, and so I happily scrambled up that ladder again and again to feel that rush. I didn't even get motion sickness, probably from all of the adrenaline coursing through my body! Always conscious about your skill and comfort level, they taught me a new move which I was able to practice. Some in the group even did a handoff which looked so cool! I couldn't be more grateful for this amazing experience, something I didn't even know that I needed to experience in my life. The whole crew was fantastic and kind. You don't have to be an adrenaline junkie to fly, and if you are, you'll just have that much more of a blast. Go fly!!
