I am super picky when it comes to my nails but mine were in really bad shape; I hadn't had them done since I moved here from L.A. 7 wks ago. I couldn't seem to find anyone who could recommend a place to my standards; I took a chance by stopping in here. It is close to my home and I was desperate. Turns out, I'm very happy with my nails. I love this place!! It's a shame that they're not as well known as other places because its the best nail salon I've been to without a doubt. They always do an amazing job, and never rush you out of the chair like a lot of places. It's not the fanciest shop around and they don't count on high tech equipment but If you're looking for a top of the line manicure/pedicure you should definitely pay them a visit! I loved this place. It's local, the lady was Very sweet and the prices are awesome. They accept walk ins and they do an amazing job. Very detail oriented and are polite. I called this morning on the phone they seemed rushy but when I got there it was not that way at all. I called ask if they had opening and walked right in and she started my nails right away. This woman is totally crazy. I went in there with my two daughters to get a full set and a pedicure. My daughters also wanted to get their nails painted. She was extremely rude to my children she messed my nails up and then when I asked her to correct it she said that she didn't have time so I told her that I wasn't going to pay her unless she corrected it. She then proceeded to grab me by the arm and said she was going to cut half of my nails off and I could go home and take the rest of the nails off. I told her to please get her hands off of me I paid for my kids nails and then left. She was calling me a liar and saying that she did exactly what I asked and she absolutely did not I apologize and she was yelling in my face and told me to get out and left my nails looking horrible do not ever go to this place. read more

Terrible place. Mai the owner is always changing the prices of acrylic (posted on wall) based on the length of your nails and I saw her doing someone's new nails then cleaned nothing no tools or anything and wanted to do mine and use same dirty tools. This was pre covid-- now, I do my own toes and looking into dips since gel won't last on my nails with how often I cook or clean and wash hands. She was rude when I told her she didn't clean them and told me I was difficult asking her to paint on French tip on clear acrylic nails. She's the only person there, she's got terrible color choices, colors are old and she is not up with the times she can't do much design either, all bright and crazy nothing for a 30 something woman who wants more neutral-- YOU CANT DO FRENCH? Forget about this place. Mai-- you need to get that you are charging Bay Area prices 42$ for a fill and giving a terrible experience with not even basic cleaning. This place is alright. They didn't do a very good job on my nails. They used white instead of pink and there was something yellow on my nail underneath everything. They also used too little of nail polish. They only good thing about my visit was that they were playing the movie Top Gun and they were friendly. I'm not going back there. read more

Went to Waterford nails this morning and had a very disappointing experience. First of all they are cash only, who nowadays is cash only?!? This was my 5-year old daughter's very first nail experience on our mommy daughter date day and I felt so bad for her :( I had enough cash on me to get her toenails painted and she literally sat her in a nail chair and painted her toes, no pedicure chair or anything. When I told her that I could have gotten a complete kids pedicure done at L&D nails in Oakdale for $10 for my little one, she literally told me you pay for convenience... Nice. Please don't visit this nail salon she definitely does not understand how to treat customers. So disappointing. read more

The prices are good for this small business. The servise was ok. My fastest pedicure of my whole life. She painted and trimmed well however there was no massage. Also, there were a few of us who went and I do not believe she sanitized the bowel after each. It looked like she used dish soap and rinsed it down. read more

I have never had a pedicure that was finished in maybe 10 minutes from start to finish. They don't take credit cards "cash only". They only use lotion, NO scrub. I left feeling as if I only had polish done. Very disappointed. read more

so I just moved to Waterford a few months ago and since its so hard to drive so far to go get your nails done I went here instead. I had her do a acrylic nails & at first they looked great but once they dried I saw many mistakes. I had nail polish on when I went in so she took if off or atleast I thought she did I still see some on the sides. then I noticed that she didn't give me the right size for the fake nails. then I aslo saw that she didn't put the gel all the way up to the top of the nail so now it looks like I already need a fill. and on my left hand the nails are coming off already you can see where there are some gaps. I just got them done the day before valentines day as a present to myself. she had one other customer came in while she was doing my nails and as soon as they did I felt rushed out.
