Within five days of this pedicure, it started peeling off literally just melting off when I was in the bathtub. The pedicures at the specific salon are very pricey and I pay extra for gel so that they can last month-to-month. This pedicure was about $80. The girl who did my nails wasn't someone I've had in the past and I think she's newer to the salon. She rushed through my pedicure, and I told her twice that she hit my nail with the UV lamp while it was wet and it probably needed to be fixed, she said no, they're fine and when I left, they were super chunky looking and not right and within a few days, just started melting off, like I said. To top it all off they were rushing people through pedicures like crazy and decided to come drop my armrest on my pedicure chair, dropping my phone and shattering my screen. All she did was hand me my phone and say sorry. Again, I've tried to give this salon the benefit of the doubt because it is very aesthetically pleasing, appears clean and usually the staff is so friendly, but this was just such a chop shop experience and I won't be returning. In response to the message from the owner- I was in the pedicure chair for 50 minutes because I was left there with my hands in a bowl. Not my actual pedicure length I'm sure your footage shows me pointing out the issues with the gel as she brushed me off 2x also. Again, I wasn't looking for you to redo them as I'm aware I waited a couple weeks to make the review but like I said it peeled within days. Why would I come back to a place that gave me such an uncomfortable visit? I was seated right away with a nice, older technician, but the service was incredibly rushed and careless. She used barely filed my old acrylic the hardly put on any new acrylic and skipped proper prepping with the primer, so I am already expecting these to lift and chip. The filing was uneven and she barely buffed them--you can literally see waves in my nails right under the polish. The shape is fine - but they were already shaped from regular nail person. Barely any cuticle oil or cleanup around the edges, either. To make matters worse, the station was dirty. The brush she used to sweep away dust was full of dried gel and hard as a rock (wash your brush!!!!) and the UV light looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. It felt very gross and unsanitary. I definitely won't be returning.

However, I starting asking for designs and nail shaping recently, which had to be done by other techs and have since had so many issues. Rude service, they do what they want not what you ask (you're considered picky if you point things out like sides of your nails not painted or ask for color swatches), surprise charges at the end, bad technique that disrupts the nail bed or cause weak nails, uses old gel polish so the manicures don't last as long. I've had gel peel off and natural nails break shortiy after leaving the salon. The owner makes it seem like it's the customer's fault and charges to fix. That's not ok. I have gone somewhere else now, but sharing here to warn others to be aware. There are many other better salons to give your business to.

Without warning, he started clipping them off and then used an old artificial nail to pry the remaining acrylic from my natural nail. I was looking down at my phone when I suddenly felt intense pain. When I looked up, my natural nail had been cut open and was bleeding. The technician asked if I was scared. I told him, "No, I'm not scared, I'm in pain." I also explained that this was not the proper way to remove acrylic nails. Instead of stopping, he attempted to continue. At that point, I told him not to touch my nails and that they needed to be soaked off properly. As a licensed cosmetologist and salon owner, I understand professional sanitation and safety procedures. The way my nails were being removed was unacceptable and resulted in an injury. Another staff member eventually took over, but what disappointed me most was that no one apologized for hurting me or acknowledged what had happened. Accidents can happen, but professionalism, concern for the client, and accountability matter. Unfortunately, I did not receive any of those things during my visit.

My nails are natural so I just need the acrylic filled and cleaned up a bit plus a design. The first time I came in for the fill and pedicure I got just a French tip with polka dots and a solid color for my toes, my total was like $90 or something, this time I went in just for a fill, and I only got a French tip and gel coating, I wasn't even in there for an hour, I was charged $69 for A FILL. I'm sorry but I don't even need that much maintenance on my nails since they are natural and pretty simple. Now they didn't do an awful job but both times I noticed the person who did my nails drilled a little too far down near my critical so the color of the nail looks like it's alr grown out since you can see the color of my natural nail.
