I went to get my nails done with the recommendation from my sister in law who resides In the area. I am from San Diego. The end result of my nails was horrible. Pro: Close location to my in laws. Cons: the technician who did my manicures and pedicures took forever. It took almost 2 hour to do my manicures and pedicures. And the end result isn't all that great as you can see on the pictures. My pedicures still have dry skins all over the place. The paint jobs didn't get clean. My gel manicures peeled off within the first 24 hours. They also do not have a lot of gel polish selections. The shop also charges $1 fee if you pay with card. I would not recommend coming here. You would think after spending 2 hours at the salon getting your hands and nails done, the end results will be better than I have received. Update: I went there this morning to go get nails fix. The owner asked if she could see my nails and where it peeled off, and all she said to me is "Oh, the person who did your nails yesterday is not here. And I can't do your nails right now." I told her I understood because she was helping with another customer. I then asked her how long will it be? Her response was "I don't know. I'm busy right now". She didn't even offer for me to come later or anything. Needless to say, if I could give this place zero star I would. Don't waste your time or money here. It's not worth it. I would recommend go to New York nails which is located off of Coffee and Sylvan(across the street from Walgreens). I should of stick with that place but nope I wanted to try what my sister in law recommended and was totally disappointed!

Mia and Tim are great! They do custom nails, any designs. Acrylic flowers, rhinestones and more. Store is remodeled, looks great. Super clean. I asked for very natural looking thin nails. Got just what I asked for.

I have to give the biggest shoutout to my girl Hailey at Venetian Salon…read more She is actually the second salon I've followed her to--that's how amazing she is! Her attention to detail is unmatched, and she's incredibly skilled. She always knows exactly what I like, even when I can't fully explain it. Every set comes out PERFECT. What really stands out is her patience, precision, and focus. She takes her time and makes sure I leave 100% satisfied every single visit And the salon itself?! So welcoming, super clean, and the staff is genuinely friendly--which honestly is rare to find these days! Plus, the color selection and quality they have... UNMATCHED If you've been looking for a new nail tech or salon--this is your sign Go visit Venetian Salon ASAP!

Honestly debated making this review because most of the staff is so sweet, but this is truly just…read moreridiculous. Within five days of this pedicure, it started peeling off literally just melting off when I was in the bathtub. The pedicures at the specific salon are very pricey and I pay extra for gel so that they can last month-to-month. This pedicure was about $80. The girl who did my nails wasn't someone I've had in the past and I think she's newer to the salon. She rushed through my pedicure, and I told her twice that she hit my nail with the UV lamp while it was wet and it probably needed to be fixed, she said no, they're fine and when I left, they were super chunky looking and not right and within a few days, just started melting off, like I said. To top it all off they were rushing people through pedicures like crazy and decided to come drop my armrest on my pedicure chair, dropping my phone and shattering my screen. All she did was hand me my phone and say sorry. Again, I've tried to give this salon the benefit of the doubt because it is very aesthetically pleasing, appears clean and usually the staff is so friendly, but this was just such a chop shop experience and I won't be returning. In response to the message from the owner- I was in the pedicure chair for 50 minutes because I was left there with my hands in a bowl. Not my actual pedicure length I'm sure your footage shows me pointing out the issues with the gel as she brushed me off 2x also. Again, I wasn't looking for you to redo them as I'm aware I waited a couple weeks to make the review but like I said it peeled within days. Why would I come back to a place that gave me such an uncomfortable visit? I'm sure you also saw in the footage your employee moved my phone, and was assisting the lady next to me and adjusting her seat and dropped the phone. Nice spin on the truth though My review remains the same, I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Without warning, he started clipping them off and then used an old artificial nail to pry the remaining acrylic from my natural nail. I was looking down at my phone when I suddenly felt intense pain. When I looked up, my natural nail had been cut open and was bleeding. The technician asked if I was scared. I told him, "No, I'm not scared, I'm in pain." I also explained that this was not the proper way to remove acrylic nails. Instead of stopping, he attempted to continue. At that point, I told him not to touch my nails and that they needed to be soaked off properly. As a licensed cosmetologist and salon owner, I understand professional sanitation and safety procedures. The way my nails were being removed was unacceptable and resulted in an injury. Another staff member eventually took over, but what disappointed me most was that no one apologized for hurting me or acknowledged what had happened. Accidents can happen, but professionalism, concern for the client, and accountability matter. Unfortunately, I did not receive any of those things during my visit.

What I don't like is how the workers converse with each other in their language and I am left thinking I may be the topic. I think it's rude.
