I decided to give it one more try later during the week. The gentleman behind the counter had all kinds of energy. He smiled and was willing to help. They were even doing a taste testing. I came back the next weekend and bought a bottle of the raspberry brandy I tried that day. It's that kind of "purple cow" service that stood out and will keep me coming back even if it's a little bit out of my way.
