We usually drive up Saturday so lunch in Coleman, TX. Once we're settled in at our usual hotel we start looking for evening snacks and drinks. We also went to Outback Steakhouse because it's within walking distance. Good drinks but we're not here to eat sub par steak followed by the # 3 ranked Texas Monthly steakhouse in Texas. Checked everything within reasonable walking distance. This is where Garry's local knowledge helped dial in Casa Herrera. Our group waited a few minutes before being seated. Served by veteran server (20+ years at the restaurant) it was a very pleasant experience. Here's how the food went. My entree consisted of a giant pitcher of Patron Margarita which I hoarded.
