I shopped around a lot looking for a pool builder and I'm very happy with what Hayden and his team provided. Whenever there was an issue or I had a question, I just texted Hayden and within a few minutes I would get back a reply. My build was not an easy build. Champagne spa, water/sewage/gas reroute, burying an electrical line, and a giant wall with a built in TV and waterfalls. I asked Hayden a few times if he felt comfortable building this and he'd always reply with he could build whatever we wanted. It turned out great. Yeah some issues came up every now and then. Building a pool, remodeling, etc. is a messy process. What matters is that your builder is quick to respond and has a path forward to make you happy. At one point they installed some glass tile and the thinset wasn't thick enough so you could see all the markings beneath the glass tile. Huge bummer. So, Hayden and his team ripped out all the glass tile and completely replaced it. This was not a trivial cost and they ate 100% of it. Remember, when you're shopping for a pool, you're shopping the builder as much as you are the pool. Any builder can show you beautiful pools they may or may not have built. I want someone that I can easily get ahold of, is known in the Dallas area, and is super knowledgable should any issues arise. If you're still shopping for a builder, I definitely recommend Waterline. I wouldn't say they're the cheapest, but I've had friends go with the cheapest and it's not fun. Waterline gives excellent value. Stop shopping for a builder, pick Waterline, and enjoy your pool in a few months. read more

Initially I was happy with my pool and pool deck remodel. The crew who redid my pool tile, added a wadding pool and did a good job on the pool itself. Frank was really good and helpful. Beware however, they only cover the cost of one repair when they do the work so if they jack hammer up your existing deck and it causes plumbing leaks they will charge you to fix them. Also they have no regard for any landscaping that you might currently have around your pool, mine was completely trashed. Every morning before they arrived I would go and pull all of the scraps of wood, concrete, tile, rebar and what ever else they tossed and piled in my flower beds out. This went on until they finished the pool. Then they started on the deck. I knew this would be messy and dusty so I tried to be tolerant. Again they got off to a good start. They used tile spacers to space them well, after the first day they stopped even attempting to use spacers and were just kind eyeballing things. I gave up on my saving my flowerbeds, figured I'd see what was left when they finished. they put in a lovely drainage system in the porcelain deck tile I had picked out. Looks good anyway, doesn't work so well. They eliminated the grading incline to the house that the previous deck had so first rain my house almost flooded but since I happened to be home I prevented it. Towards the end of my deck installation they started getting sloppy, said the tiles were different sizes. That might be but you can look at and see where if a tile had been cut to fit better then the rest of the tiles would have lined up better. I have tiles that rock, I'm afraid they will crack when I put my pool furniture back. I didn't expect perfection but honestly I was embarrassed by it and what I the amount we paid for sloppy work. We were going to have a party when it was finished to show our friends, we didn't. Jon Harrison came by to see what my issues were. When I explained what I was having trouble with he said he would adjust one of the crooked tiles and install a drain in the deck. I asked him if he would be happy with this pool deck in his backyard and he said yes. He offered some terrible ideas to deal with the drainage pipe they left sticking out in my backyard. It was then that I realized if he thought this job was good then I didn't want him doing anymore work on my pool deck. I paid him and parted ways. It will be easy enough to fix all the issues, so much so that I'm going to do it myself, that's to say it would have been easy enough for Jon's crew to have fixed these issues but instead I'm writing a terrible review. I don't like to do that, Jon seems like a nice guy, I gave him the opportunity to fix it but he thought the work was good and that I was overly critical. If he can't see the problems I can't feel very confident about him fixing it. I read his five star reviews, that's what I wanted to write but I can't in all honestly. We hired this company to help us redo our pool. Demos are always a mess and their work was no better or worse than others we have used. The construction phase was fine until we got to the decking. This turned into a horrible cluster. Their workmanship is just a joke. Unfortunately this company was recommended to us by friends and our initial enthusiasm was replaced utter frustration. In the end the owner of this company came out to review our complaints and he was rude and more concerned about going to a bar in Addison to watch a football game than listen to us. We paid the last installment of his bill and told him never to come back. read more

Waterline came out and fixed all my issues. Had some problems with decking being damaged by the plasters. That was fixed. Still waiting on the warranty for that work. Overall, the items have been repaired or redone. The pool is in working order ready for the summer. read more

We just used Waterline for a pool remodel. They did everything...new concrete decking, redesign of the steps/entry to the pool, replastering, re-plumbed (it was a very old pool) and built an outdoor pergola. Jon was always available to answer my questions or concerns. From the very beginning when I needed help even coming up with a design and specifically what we wanted to have done, he was there offering advice and recommendations. It was such an easy and seamless process. His crews were there when they were supposed to be, cleaned up after themselves and did an excellent job. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
