The absolute worst customer service. Booked a taxi for 3 from Pearson International Airport to Kitchener and was informed by email that the car I booked would not accommodate 3 people with 3 suitcases and I would need to book a van at $35.00 more. I spoke to management and was informed that their board decided that this is their policy now and no exceptions. Con artists trying to extort more money for their inadequate service. Will never use Waterloo Taxi service again and they didn't care. Use another taxi company for better customer service. read more

This is my favourite taxi company in Kitchener-Waterloo for traveling to/from Pearson Airport. I have used it for myself on many occasions and I booked it also for my son, and it was always reliable, efficient, and punctual. The drivers are excellent and the vehicles clean and comfortable. I trust this company 100%, and would recommend it to other travellers. Don't be put off by booking online and giving your card details in advance. They are a trustworthy company and the money will only be taken on completion of the trip. Plus, their prices are the best in the market. What is not to like? read more

I used Waterloo Taxi for a quick trip when I had to bring my vehicle for servicing. I will never use them again. The taxi driver yelled at me while I was with my children and then left us stranded at the dealership. This behaviour is inexcusable. First off, the driver was extremely rude (he told me to "hurry up") in front of my children. I understand that everyone has a bad day, but when we came out of the dealership (dropped off keys), he had already left. He knew I had two young children with me. I will never use Waterloo Taxi again. I wish I could give less than 1 star. read more

I use Waterloo Taxi quite often, they are usually pretty quick to pick me up when called. The only real problem I have with them is sometimes I have to tell them how to get to where I want to go. Now if I was from out of town this could really be bad, but i only use them for local rides. The pricing is out of their control and is done by the government so i can't blame them for that. read more

I recently used Waterloo Taxi and it was just a nightmare. It seemed illegitimately priced and when we called to make a reservation, they said they were not able to do so on Saturday nights...it was a 9PM reservation so hardly peak hours. When we called back to order a cab for our 9PM time, it didn't arrive until nearly 920 (even though we were told 5-10 minutes) and it all resulted in a missed Via Rail train. On the return home from the train station, a detour route was used, which seemed to just jack up the price more. Disappointing experience and will not be using them again. Total Cost for 8km cab to and from the Kitchener Train Station (16km total) - $44.00. Spend your money on ANY other method of transportation. You could probably get a rental car for that price... read more

I have used this taxi company about seven times in the last year when visiting my girlfriend in waterloo, and have almost every time been severely disappointed. The service is by no means great, the cab's do not arrive on time when specifically requested, & every time I use this company it seems to get more and more expensive for the exact same distance. The first time I called Waterloo taxi, it took them twenty minutes to pick me up from the train station, when told it would be a maximum of ten and cost me well over the estimated price to get to the University Of Waterloo. The next several taxi rides got increasingly expensive as it seemed the driver would take a longer way than necessary or a different route than previously taken that would actually get me to the station on time. To top it all off my girlfriend used Waterloo Taxi cab again tonight to get to the train station and the service was TERRIBLE!!! This company made her miss her train (70$), take a cab to the Kitchener VIA station and back to waterloo (40$), and she will have to be making the trip again tomorrow, another (20$) taxi ride. They have completely lost our business & we will be using a different taxi company from now on. I highly recommend using a different taxi company when in Waterloo. read more

I have called this company and the other two companies in Waterloo / Kitchener and have been very disappointed as either (a) no shows (b) took an hour to even get to me for pick up (c) I've had to call numerous times for the same pick up. (d) taxi takes longer than bus or walking waiting for pick up . I am told consistently "there are no cars in the area". I am so frustrated with the services in Waterloo / Kitchener!! read more

Friendly people, excellent service. I've used them frequently for 18 years and have only complained twice. That's a great track record. The cars are always clean, they're good tech-wise (GPS, credit card machines, calls assigned to cars which are close-by, etc), and even the phone dispatch staff aren't cranky. read more

I love this company. The fare to the Toronto airport is only $10 more than taking the shuttle.

I recently moved to KW and have used a few taxi services, Waterloo Taxi being the main one due to locality. I have never waited longer for a cab, than when I call WT. After calling dispatch back to verify the location of my cab, I was told no driver had even taken my call! Not impressed at all! I'm switching companies for sure. read more

Called for a cab at 5:00am so that my boyfriend could catch the 5:25 go bus to work. We got the call to come down cause our taxi was here. We came down and saw nobody, so I called and he said the taxi will be here soon. So we waited and waited. Still no show. Called the taxi people back again, and he tells me the cab showed up but noone came out. I insist that no cab showed up and he keeps insisting back that they did. No, they didnt. He missed his go bus to work cause they screwed up then tried to blame it on us. Never using this company again. read more

took Waterloo taxi there - 29$ took Uber back - 17$, RideCo reportedly being even less. On top of it all, the service was terrible. Not sure why the driver was looking for a King St address on a differently named street. read more
