Highly recommend Javier from R&R!…read more Our bathroom had 2 issues. The shower had 2 points of discharge and water came out from both ends when we turn on the water. The control switch was not working properly and it appears to have something broken inside the switch. The second was the bathtub was dripping for months. Our property manager gave us some recommendation on handyman, and we reached out to a few others. Everyone of the handyman looked at the issues and said they couldn't do it. Javier from R&R was professional and friendly. He came, looked at the problems and gave us multiple options. We were told that our bathroom fixtures were on the older end, and replacement parts would be pretty slim. Javier said he would try his best to find ways to fix our problems, and if it can't be fix, then he would have to go with the full remove and replace option. Needless to say, the cheaper option would be less than half the price of the worst case scenario. We were presented with the cheaper options to be less than $1000, while the worst case scenario would be in the mid $2000 with our drywall cut open in order to do the fixture replacement. We would also had to then deal with redoing the drywall since that is not part of the company's scope of work. Javier came back after we accepted the estimate and was able to fix everything faster than I thought. To my surprised, he was able to find the replacement parts and fix everything. My experience with Javier and R&R has been exceptional. I highly recommend R&R to anyone with plumbing issue like i had.

There are not enough words to describe the positive experience we had with Daniel of Winder…read morePlumbing. After having more than one conversation with other plumbing companies, having multiple estimates describing our master bathroom shower leak issue as a really, really big job? One that would cost us a few thousands dollars! One that would required cutting into our walls and us then hiring a dry wall professional to fix it later! We literally felt defeated. So my wife and I did what comes natural to us, we prayed about it, and had one more call to make before making a final decision. A very early message was sent on a Tuesday to Winder Plumbing, the response was immediate requesting simple pictures of our shower. An offer for same day service was made, we opted for Thursday instead. Bright and early Thursday morning Daniel from Winder Plumbing messaged he was in route with several parts and he was positive one would take care of our leaking shower. Daniel was correct ! He is a true professional; talented and most importantly honest. Daniel explained what he needed to do (replacement of cartridge and valve) and it would not be thousands of dollars? To add, it would not require cutting into our wall. No way!!! Daniel is the perfect example of where preparation and professionalism meet. He executed the work at our home quickly and efficiently. Bottom line cost? $420!!!!!!! Wow! We are very thankful for Winder Plumbing. Knowing honest people and companies still exist is truly a blessing. Thank you thank you thank you! 10 stars!!!

Let me start off by saying that life has definitely got in the way from me posting this. I…read moreoriginally intended to wait about three months for this review, "to make sure that everything was alright". Now we're at the seventh month mark and let me say that every day I am grateful for the work that Peterson Plumbing did on our home. Peterson Plumbing did a complete replumb with PEX. In a word, Thomas is awesome! We were initially skeptical when he offered the lowest estimate for repairs and did so over the phone without coming out to the house. My wife had talked with him first when getting quotes. We had the plumber that had been servicing our home for the past five years. Their quote was about four thousand higher. Another estimate from a local plumber was double of Thomas'. I reached out to Thomas and expressed my concern about him doing an estimate without coming out. He said he lived in the area and knew the homes; he even swung by after his day was done for a quick meet and greet. His estimate stood at what he stated. Even with a record 86 drywall holes in our house; Thomas said that typical replumbs have about 35 holes. Now for the things that we found out that he and his staff did not share with us. We have hot water quicker at every faucet in the house, except one. When they replumbed, they did so more efficiently than the original piping with backbone of the plumbing being between the first and second floors. The master shower used to take over a minute to get hot water, now it's less than 10 seconds. The kitchen was about 30 seconds, now it's about 15 seconds. The downstairs bathroom stays at about 15 seconds. Plumbing took one day. Drywall repair took two days. Thomas told us it would take one or two depending on how much repair work needed to be done. Every step of the way Thomas stayed within the guidelines that he outlined for us and never came to us with extra or hidden charges, despite being the least expensive estimate. Thomas went above and beyond as well. At no charge, he redid our pool fill which had been non-operational since we moved to the house over 10 years ago. He also swapped to valves for the shower and sink faucets in the master bathroom. He also replaced a damaged aerator and ordered the replacement part from Delta himself. I didn't even know until the package arrived and he phoned to swing by and install it. If you're looking for an honest plumber who stands by his work; Thomas is your local plumber!!! Don't hesitate. I have referred Thomas more than any other local business.

I recently had them out to service my home, and without a doubt, Jorge Martinez and Jose Franquez provided the absolute best customer service and overall experience I have ever received from any home services company. Jorge Martinez handled our AC repair with exceptional skill and professionalism. He diagnosed the issue quickly, explained everything clearly, and had our cooling running efficiently in no time. Jose Franquez was our plumbing technician and was equally phenomenal. He was incredibly thorough, respectful of our home, and fixed our plumbing needs with top-tier craftsmanship and attention to detail. Both Jorge and Jose were prompt, courteous, extremely knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of properly. It is rare to find technicians who take this much pride in their work and truly care about the homeowner's experience. PDS Air & Plumbing has earned a customer for life--ask for Jorge and Jose! I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with PDS Plumbing & Air. I called them because my AC…read morewas not working during a very hot week, and I have children in the house, so getting the system running again was extremely important. Their technician came out, diagnosed the problem, and told me that my transformer and capacitor needed to be replaced. I was quoted approximately $1,155 for the repair. I understand that companies have overhead, technicians need to be paid, and businesses need to make a profit. I have absolutely no problem paying a fair price for professional work. But in my opinion, this quote was outrageous. What bothered me even more was that the technician told me the parts for my AC unit were backordered, making it seem like they were difficult to get. That turned out not to be true in my experience. I was able to locate and purchase the parts myself that very same day. So I honestly don't understand why I was told they were backordered when I had no problem getting them immediately from a local supplier. I'm pretty handy myself, so instead of agreeing to the repair, I decided to purchase the transformer and capacitor myself. As shown in my receipts, I paid less than $80 total for the parts. One receipt shows $32.61 for the transformer, and the other shows $42.40 for the capacitor -- $75.01 total. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that replacing those parts did NOT fix my AC. After doing additional troubleshooting myself, I discovered that the actual issue involved the low-voltage circuit. I eventually tracked down the problem myself and got my AC running again. So not only was I quoted over $1,100 for a repair involving parts that cost me about $75, but I was also told those parts were backordered when I was able to purchase them the same day, and after replacing them, the AC still didn't work because that wasn't the actual problem. I understand there is much more to a professional service call than the cost of parts. You're paying for labor, experience, insurance, vehicles, overhead, and a company standing behind its work. But there is still a point where pricing feels excessive, especially when the proposed repair does not address the actual problem. What really disappoints me is that when someone calls an HVAC company during extremely hot weather, especially when they explain that they have children in the home and need their AC working, they are relying on that company to give them an accurate diagnosis and a reasonable repair option. In my experience, that is not what happened here. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend PDS Plumbing & Air. I strongly encourage homeowners to get a second opinion and compare pricing before approving an expensive HVAC repair. I'm attaching my receipts as proof of what I actually paid for the parts. The transformer and capacitor together cost me $75.01, and I was able to purchase them the same day despite being told the parts were backordered. I'm glad I was ultimately able to troubleshoot the low-voltage issue myself and get the AC running for my family, but I shouldn't have had to diagnose the actual problem myself after receiving a professional service call and being presented with a $1,155 repair quote.
