I am very comfortable with the price I paid. My expectations were exceeded. Daniel was the best. He was probably the most courteous person that I have met in a long time... authentically courteous. Our water softener install needed some demo work to get the drain line to a suitable sewer. When Daniel came out to perform the estimate inspection, he climbed into the tiniest attic space to see if that was an option. When he was out to do the install, I was prepared to have a lot of drywall demo done to our laundry room. Instead of taking the easy way, I feel that Daniel looked at how he would have it done it if it were his own home. He found a way to completely avoid any demo on one wall at his own expense (spending time in a very hot and tight attic space). In the end we had a couple small drywall cutouts that he taped back in place minimizing the visual impact until I patch them completely. He was honest before the work started, that he doesn't patch the drywall. When he was done, I said to him, "I thought you don't patch dry wall :-)." His response? I just taped it :-). I expected to have drywall squares sitting around for me to put back. This is an example of his care for a home he may never be in again. I had a great experience with R&R Plumbing, especially Brandon G. and his assistant Derrick. I was dealing with a recurring sewer line issue and wanted to make sure I understood exactly what was going on before committing to a major repair. Brandon took the time to inspect the problem, explain everything clearly, and answer all of my questions. Derrick was also very helpful and professional throughout the job. They found a broken section of pipe with roots growing into the line, and they were able to take care of the issue by replacing the damaged piping. They also took care of the work in my front yard and cleaned up afterward. I also appreciated that Brandon was straightforward with me and worked with me on the pricing. Turner at R&R Plumbing is exceptional! I had a leak at my main water line coming into the house from the city, right below the spigot. I've used R&R Plumbing before, so I gave them a call. They answered right away and scheduled someone to come out between 10am and 2pm. At about 9:45am, I got a text that Turner was already on his way. Turner was super cool, very professional, and walked me through all my options without being pushy. He even gave me solid advice on how I could fix it myself if I wanted to save money, but I felt more comfortable having him handle it. He offered two options: repairing just the pinhole leak in the copper, or replacing the entire copper pipe down to the PVC from the water district main. I decided to go with the more expensive option to do it the right way, and Turner handled the whole job himself. While digging up the copper line earlier, I accidentally broke a PVC pipe. I mentioned it to Turner, and after he finished replacing the copper (which he did an amazing job on), he spent another hour fixing my mistake--at no charge. He didn't have to do that, but he did it anyway. Turner's customer service is next level. He has a great attitude, genuinely cares about doing quality work, and it really shows. Highly recommend Javier from R&R! Our bathroom had 2 issues. The shower had 2 points of discharge and water came out from both ends when we turn on the water. The control switch was not working properly and it appears to have something broken inside the switch. The second was the bathtub was dripping for months. Our property manager gave us some recommendation on handyman, and we reached out to a few others. Everyone of the handyman looked at the issues and said they couldn't do it. Javier from R&R was professional and friendly. He came, looked at the problems and gave us multiple options. We were told that our bathroom fixtures were on the older end, and replacement parts would be pretty slim. Javier said he would try his best to find ways to fix our problems, and if it can't be fix, then he would have to go with the full remove and replace option. Needless to say, the cheaper option would be less than half the price of the worst case scenario. We were presented with the cheaper options to be less than $1000, while the worst case scenario would be in the mid $2000 with our drywall cut open in order to do the fixture replacement. We would also had to then deal with redoing the drywall since that is not part of the company's scope of work. Javier came back after we accepted the estimate and was able to fix everything faster than I thought. To my surprised, he was able to find the replacement parts and fix everything. My experience with Javier and R&R has been exceptional. I highly recommend R&R to anyone with plumbing issue like i had. read more
