If I could give Patricia 10 stars, I would! I originally worked with her to address life-long insomnia. I had already tried sleep clinics and all the pharmaceuticals on the market without relief. Patricia interviewed me to understand how the problem occurs and how I think about it. Then she wrote several scripts to help me change the way I think about and behave around sleep. Before long, I was taking short, refreshing naps, going to sleep easily, staying asleep through the night and waking alert and refreshed. What a gift! I am recovering from surgery and have been tired of being in constant pain everyday and prescription pain pills have not been working, so I figured it couldn't hurt to give hypnosis a try. I had my first appointment with Patricia this morning. She did a very thorough job of learning more about me and finding out exactly what I was hoping to get out of my time with her. We spent two hours together. The first hour was very conversational, and even though I remained in pain, it definitely helped put me in a better frame of mind. The second hour was the actual hypnosis session, and I am not exaggerating when I say that I truly cannot remember the last time I felt this good, both physically and mentally. My pain was gone and I just felt fantastic. Admittedly, the pain has been coming back gradually over the course of the day, but I now have an optimism I didn't have before. If the pain can be taken away once, it can be done again and again. Patricia is an excellent hypnotherapist and therapist. I kept hitting a frustrating cycle of weight gain and constant excuses to not work out. I got to a point where I was 30 lbs overweight and just stuck. I was so skeptical in the beginning, but had read reviews of her clients who had incredible success with weight loss. I saw Patricia in October of 2018 and by Feb 2019 I had lost a total of 22 lbs in 4 months. There is a motivation in me to eat cleaner with consistent workouts of 5x a week. Patricia is more than awesome! I first found Patricia in June 2013 and did the stop smoking program. It will be a year June 18th being smoke free. I didn't want to take medication or use patches because I knew that would not work for me. I tried the vapor Cigs but those were harsh on the throat. With hypnosis and the support tools provided, I've not had a problem with wanting to picking up a cig. I can even deal with Vegas casinos no problem at all!! I also continued with Patricia to work through being anxious and other things that were blocking me. What I am absolutely grateful for, this past February I hit a serious emotional brick wall and needed help immediately. Patricia is one of those "rare finds" who gets you where you want to go! She has a multi - faceted approach to quitting. I have been hypnotized before, but I found that I needed additional tools in my bag to be successful. Her hypnosis was powerful but I don't think for me that would have been the stand alone way. She takes copious notes on what you say where you really have to think about this stuff and then uses it for (not against) you in your hypnotherapy session. I used the changing 5-10 habits, the notes around the house and the seeing of the color red (also, the falsies...you'll have to ask her about that). The way the 4 sessions are laid out is brilliant and really kept me engaged in the process. There was always something to "do" and a solution for anything that came up. By #4, it was easy. Yes, I smoked Pall Mall Menthol 120's as one step in the process, but it helped me quit Marlboro Lights and American Spirits. I decided to write my review after a month of being a non-smoker and I have been around smokers A LOT and was not even tempted to smoke because I considered what that would be like... Do yourself a favor and don't drink alcohol for the first week, though. Why tempt fate? We spent a total of 8 hours together and she's priced her time almost too reasonably. Easy street parking, comfortable place for hypnosis, lots of thought and personal flair in her office and her tools. She's colorful and creative, she's been a smoker, she knows the tricks. She will not allow you to keep the back door open on smoking if you play the game by her rules. I have smoked for 25+ years, was 80% sure I wanted to quit, but the 20% seemed to keep me from doing anything about it. I read Alan Carr's book while I smoked, that didn't work either. He's dead from lung disease. I wanted it to just be natural for the smoking time in my life to be over after thinking about it for a long time over a cigarette or for some illness to happen forcing me to quit, I never felt like it would be me to decide to be done. I picked up the phone and called her. She's very approachable and has a GREAT voice. If you're at the 80%, go make the appointment and you'll do great. It has been since Sept. 28, 2011 that I had a cigarette and wanted to write this after a month as a non-smoker for my review to be credible enough for you to contact Patricia. Patricia is one of the most effective therapists of any type that I've ever worked with and she is one of the most compassionate people I've ever met. She was always prepared and able to navigate our sessions no matter what came up. After only four sessions, a lifelong pattern of suicidal ideation in response to stress, which had been creating significant suffering in my life, disappeared by about 95% and it has stayed that way for going on a year now. I worked with Patricia a little over a year ago and am still so happy with my experience. I went for what I would call PTSD, something that I had a lot of worry and fear about. I had 4 sessions with her total. I want to say during my time working with Patricia, I hadn't really felt the effects yet and was concerned it wasn't working for me. BUT, a few days after our last session, I realized I was able to move through my days and nights without the fear or anxiety I had been crippled by (so give it time, and finish the sessions!). My hypnotherapy experience : When I first contacted Patricia, I was in a very low place in my life. I had this lingering feeling of sadness that I could not shake off. I tried different tools that I have learned about during my life journey but this feeling of sadness and emotional turmoil would not barge. During our first phone call, I broke down in tears because I was just feeling so miserable. Prior to contacting Patricia, I read up on hypnosis experiences and how they have been life changing for so many people dealing with issues. So I took a step of faith and decided to work with Patricia. This was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Patricia helped me get to the roots of my issues by working with my subconscious mind. I did a total of six sessions and honestly after the first session I noticed a subtle, but very noticeable shift in how I was feeling. I felt better after the subsequent sessions through working with her 1:1 and also on video zoom calls. After my sessions, I am feeling my best ! The issues that were bothering me are a thing of the past and I no longer ruminate on issues ! One of the main issues that I was dealing with is the emotional charge I placed on bothersome things when I decided to ruminate on them! These included: confrontations with people, things or events that would upset me, etc. I also noticed that I am much lighter in mood and readily able to let go of things without allowing too much emotional charge ! I am more neutral and instead of reacting, I respond by taking a step back and evaluating a situation. This helps me solve things from a clear mind/perspective without the emotional turmoil that I have always had to deal with. Patricia is well experienced ( she has many many years of experience in this field and others) and this was so comforting to me because I knew I could trust her. I had an accident in my experimental plane that laid me up for almost a year. After I recovered I wanted to go back to flying, as it had always been a big part of my life. I began to fly again, and I was relieved to see that I wasn't overtly scared. However, I noticed quickly that I was uptight, and just didn't feel the usual fun anymore. I knew if this kept up I would quit flying. To give it one more chance, I decided to try hypnosis. I found Patricia on the internet and saw a Yelp review I liked, but otherwise i was sort of casting in the dark. I spoke to her on the phone and I felt a little more sure. Now i feel incredibly lucky I found her. I did two sessions and I know this sounds trite but i was CURED. The low level anxiety I felt driving to my hangar was gone. The tension before takeoff - gone. Landing issues - zippo. I can't say I'm back to being the swashbuckling adventurer - I sitll get a little gripped in big air, and for that I feel a bit sad. But overall I'm having as much fun as I was having before, and for that I thank Patricia. I found I had to talk about pretty personal things with her, but she made me feel comfortable about it. She put me in a suggestive state (i think that's what they call it) easily. On her own initiative she did some research on flying so she would understand the nature of the crash and also so she could figure out what statements would help me overcome whatever was blocking me. She also taught me a self hypnosis technique that I used for the first few weeks before I flew. It made a noticeable difference in my tension. Pretty soon I didn't need it but it was good to know I had it as an option. For those of you who have been in a car accident, I would highly recommend Patricia and hypnosis. I was very motivated to try hypnosis for a health problem. I did a phone consultation and went in for the session with an open mind. While I was not expecting a particular experience, I left feeling that I experienced no hypnosis. Being determined, I tried to rationalize that I needed more sessions and that she had given handouts and repeated good advice about exercising, so it wasn't all a waste of considerable money and time. However, I (wisely) realized that this therapist would not work for me. I experienced no kindness or sweetness, not a single smile. She was almost dismissive of my concerns: "This is not important" and off putting. Sample this: Her: "I make handouts for my clients. You have recycling right?" Me: "yes". Her: "Well if you don't want it, just recycle it or bring it back to me". The relief I experienced at deciding that I would not go back, made me realize how uncomfortable I felt there. read more

I saw Patricia for smoking cessation. I tried to quit smoking cold turkey on my own a few times, but something just wouldn't "click" mentally, plus I was having really bad cravings and an extremely hard time and would always go back to smoking after a few days. Then a friend recommended that I try hypnotherapy. Patricia far exceeded my expectations! I quit smoking after only two sessions! I did see her for 2 more sessions just to reinforce the behavior, but I had no physical cravings at all after the first 2. Yes, I was a little irritable and less patient, but it was only a teeny tiny fraction of what I'd experienced when I tried quitting on my own. Overall, it was a really good experience actually. Even when I had a difficult moment, I didn't think about smoking at all. And I'm one of those people who would light up a cigarette first thing in the morning! Patricia is truly caring, makes you feel comfortable, takes time to get to know you and never ever looks at the clock. In fact, the sessions lasted around 2 hours. I never felt rushed and she made sure to answer any and all questions that I had. Plus, when I was having a health issue that may or may not be related to smoking and called her on the weekend, she called me back, offered advice and even moved my session to Sunday. 5-Stars just doesn't quite cut it! I am so appreciative of my time with Patricia and so impressed with her process and support! The process/support Patricia gave in our sessions (and beyond) was fantastic! She was incredibly professional and prepared for each visit and I know from the materials she shared and the personalized hypnosis she delivered, that she spent a good deal of time prepping for each of our visits. I walked away from our first session with verbal cues/reminders that I was able to literally use instantly. Within 24 hours, I realized how much negative self-talk I was feeding myself and the tools Patricia taught me helped diminish that bad habit almost immediately. I purposefully waited several months to write a review of my work with Patricia as I wanted to be sure I was able to continue the process independently through self-hypnosis. I have been somewhat good with the self-hypnosis, and I have been even better and more consistent with EFT and verbal cues/reminders to help keep myself on track. I found Patricia during a time where I just didn't think I could keep moving forward. I was emotionally stuck, depressed and overwhelmed by several things from my past and present. And while I am still working on some challenges, I know that I have more tools to keep myself on track/improving. Patricia is an excellent therapist! I sought out her help for night terrors and anxiety during sleep. For years I was waking up every night with crippling irrational fear, and after my first session with Patricia I was sleeping peacefully and comfortably through the night. With further sessions we were able to go deeper into the root of the problem and gain insight into the origins of these irrational fears. Its been a couple months of seeing her; I've never slept better, and I'm confident that I won't be having sleep problems again. Patricia is a godsend. Being a client of hers has changed my life. I am suffering from ulcerative colitis, which usually is triggered by stress and anxiety. I was hospitalized for a week at my lowest point in Aug. 2012. Doctors wanted to remove my colon completely, as they saw no other solution to helping me get better. The pain was unbearable to say the least, and I thought I'd never be able to work again. I was practically bed-ridden for a few weeks and refused to leave the house by myself for some time during recovery.
