Will not rent from this company again…read more 1) Very hard to find--The address on their website isn't their actual location. They have no office or building for check in and they have no signage at the marina. After calling (with no answer), and walking around the marina for 30 minutes we finally found someone who pointed us in the right direction. Turns out they just rent a boat slip at the marina where they park their (one?) boat. Because of the confusion, we got on the water 30 minutes late and were charged an extra $100 for it. 2) Poorly maintained and dirty boat--Engine and throttle malfunctioned. We had to turn off the engine, let it sit, and restart a few times to get it to work "properly ". 3) Safety Hazards-- the arm rest was torn off, and had exposed upholstery staples. We had our dogs with us and I had to use a towel to keep it covered so they wouldn't injure themselves. The swim step ladder was unusable. Trying to get back on a boat without a ladder is near impossible and my husband and I both slipped and fell trying to get back on the boat. Ended up with a black and blue chin and knee! The only reason I didn't give them less than two stars is because even with all the issues, we had an enjoyable day on the water.

But they really didn't seem to care too much what time we came back in, so it was fine. Also, they didn't really seem to know anything about boating rules. They couldn't answer even the most simple questions. If you don't know how to drive a boat and some simple basic boat stuff, you're going to have a little trouble. But it was a fun day

We went on July 3rd on a Sunday and it was a beautiful day out. Sunny with 10% chance of rain, which is good for summer in Florida. The weather was perfect. We arrived to Bahia Mar Marina and checked in at the Tropical Sailing office by the main entrance, located behind Market Cafe. Once we checked in, we went over to the marina where the catamaran was located. There was a group total of maybe 30 people on our cruise. Our captain was Ernesto aka "E" and then Nick who was the bartender/first mate. E and Nick were awesome. E had jokes all day long and was so good about informing everyone about rules and things to do and not do. Nick was so good catering to our kids, we had 13 people total in our party and 7 of those were kids. He was great about tending to them and making sure the kids were happy for the duration of the cruise They offered free snacks, bottled water and sodas with the ticket price. You could open a tab and buy alcoholic beverages during the cruise. They had beer, White Claw and wine. Very affordable prices. Worth it if you want to drink. We sailed to Fort Lauderdale Beach area in the middle of the ocean and they put out the water mat and trampoline. And the water slide was in full effect. We got to hang and lounge here for maybe 1-2 hours? Hard to say as we didn't keep track of time and we were too busy having fun to notice. It was a good amount of time though for everyone to jump in the water and play. When it was time to leave, E and Nick pulled everything out of the water while most of us lounged on the net. You can only lay on the net when the catamaran is not moving. We sailed back to the marina and almost everyone was passed out and dunzo! What an awesome day on the catamaran. Great fun had by all. The kayaks were clean and in great condition, and the staff was very helpful in getting us set up and answering our questions. We had a wonderful time paddling through Las Olas and Fort Lauderdale, enjoying the beautiful scenery and waterways. I am writing this review without ever renting a jet ski from Falcon. I spoke with Alberto about…read morerenting today. Upon arrival, he was putting two skis in the water. I explained that my friend would be riding with me, so we only needed to rent one ski ($180, 90 min). Alberto responded that he will join. He said during his experience, "three times an officer pulled someone over for speeding in the water." I'm not sure of the relevance, since the jet ski driver would be at fault, but I explained that I won't speed and am careful. I opted not to rent from Falcon. As it happens, I live close by on the Intracoastal and often see jet skis, yet I don't see chaparones. On the way out of the parking lot, I met a guy who rents for $300 for the entire day. All's well that ends well! It's Aberto's business to run as he likes. But he needs to update the website's location address and clearly indicate that Alberto's joining is a package deal!

I understand we would need to pay a fee for being late but they made us pay 2 extra hours. Completely unprofessional and disgusting attitude.
