This is a GREAT place to do some kayaking and/or paddle boarding! We had so much fun and Sean was amazing! He helped us pick the right equipment and set us on our way. My daughter had trouble with the kayak as a first timer and he paddled out to get her and towed her back to the dock. My husband and I went out to the mangroves and saw so really neat wildlife: a red raccoon (I thought it was a red panda as they are very similar looking), a huge iguana, and many beautiful birds. Then when we got back to the dock Sean had convinced my daughter to have another go at it in the double Kayak and so she and dad set off for another half hour or so. While I was watching them from the dock two beautiful gentle manatees swam over to the dock and lazily popped up out of the water for a neat visit. It was an awesome experience. This is THE place to go if you are in the Hollywood Ft Lauderdale area! Or even worth the travel if your are further north or south. Can't say enough great things about our fun day! read more

Excellent experience, rented 2 kayaks for the full day. Staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. When we arrived, we were provided with maps of the waterways where we could travel, diagram of different animals we may see, offered a cooler with water bottles to stay hydrated during our trip, and even were offered waterproof cases for our electronics. We had such a good time exploring the waterways we ended up staying out longer than expected and accidentally stayed out after closing! Awesome experience. Super friendly guys running this place who are very helpful in every way. We're a family of 4 and rented 2 2-man kayaks for the day. When two of the family wanted to head to the pool, we were able to switch to a single kayak and a stand-up paddle board for the rest of the day. They've got all the accessories you'll need, including waterproof cases for you phone and wallet, use of a locker while you're on the water, and they'll even provide bottles of water and a portable cooler to take with you on the kayak. Paddleboarding for the kids and kayaking for my husband today. The staff member who helped was kind and relaxed with good instruction and insight on where to go on the water and what to avoid. Love the offer of free waterproof phone cases, free lockers, free sunglass cords, and a free cooler of water. We had to change a double kayak to a single, and without even asking were refunded on the very last minute change. Love when a business does the right thing! read more

Sean and Arnold are really helpful and cool guys. They helped me and my friends have an awesome day on the water. They were knowledgeable about the area and showed us some good spots, which made our trip memorable. They helped us get the hang of riding and gave us cases for our phones to keep them dry. We kayak everywhere we travel and Waterway Adventures team and service were excellent. Good instructions on where to go, free cold water bottles, waterproof storage for wallets and phones, lockers and even an array of squirt guns! My friend forgot her sunglasses and they found a pair for her to borrow. Kayaking is pretty and fun as you can paddle through the mangroves. Highly recommend this company. read more

Wandered to this place and could not have been more impressed. The guy who helped us pick our rentals was extremely friendly and helpful; he made sure we had he best experience possible - even packed a cooler with waters. Sean was so helpful to us! We had no idea what we were doing but he put us at ease. He was very kind and very informative. The equipment was in great shape and clean. He also took care of packing us some waters in a cooler and keeping our phones safe in cases so we could bring them along to take pictures. The trails are beautiful and we had a great time! This place is amazing! We rented kayaks for 90 minutes and we were shocked to discover the little extras included with our rental. Sunscreen, phone dry boxes, water guns and even bottles of water! The young man that helped us was incredibly friendly. If we ever visit Hollywood again we will definitely rent kayaks from here. read more

Wow, this was the best kayaking adventure I had in Florida. They had electric kayaks that were so much fun. They also had a dozen other activities to choose from. I'll be back for sure next time I'm in town. 5 o'clock Somewhere Bar and Grill was a great place to relax after we paddled. Highly recommend it. read more

This was by far the best paddle board experience I've had. I was overwhelmed with all the extras the company provided us for a more enjoyable time on the water. We saw a baby and momma manatee, a pod of dolphins, a sea turtle and lots of birds in the trails. I'll definitely be back a few more times. read more
