It was a hot mess because they have three dogs, and this is the car they use for all the park runs, so you can imagine the fur, the smell, and the mess inside. We brought it here, and the team absolutely worked magic. They didn't just do a quick wipe‑down, they went above and beyond. Every inch of the interior was cleaned, vacuumed thoroughly, and refreshed. The seats looked good as new, the carpets were spotless, and even the stubborn dog hair was gone. They were friendly, fast, and incredibly detailed. By the time they were done, the car looked and smelled like a totally different vehicle. I was a member of wash city down the block from here but they are going under new management. I pulled up on a semi-busy Sunday afternoon and was greeted with warmth and accommodation. I decided I just wanted the quick in and out due to my schedule. They provided excellent customer care and service without the upsell and even gave me a punchcard for my next nine visits. My car came out clean. It was quick exactly what I needed and I will definitely come back for more details and other services. i came into get my Mercedes washed and pointed out some scuff marks on front bumper to Richard. He immediately went to the detail shop and got a cloth and cleaning solution and rubbed away the scuff marks - 99% better! without even needing to buff away anything. I even pointed out another spot on the back bumper and he took care of that small spot. I've only had good service here and I've even filled up a couple of frequent user cards and gotten my 10th was free. I'll certainly keep coming back read more

Hi! I recently (today May 23rd, literally 5 minutes ago) visited this charming car spa via a friend's recommendation! I received a "Super Spa" treatment. My friend has had almost 6 cars, lives down the road, and frequents this place quite often; I trust his judgement when it comes to cars. My car was in need of a clean-up, hadn't been properly cleaned in about 3 years, just a few vacuums and hand washes here and there. To start this review off, I think it's best to acknowledge the heavy influx of negative reviews. To which I say... be quiet? It's very evident from the get go that this is a small, local, family-owned business. And for the convenience (and insanely beautiful prices,) it literally does not get better than this! I think a lack of customer decency and etiquette runs rampant through these reviews, because I had a great time at my first visit here. If you come in expecting to be treated like Rockefeller with an attitude the size of Napoleon, then I have no sympathy for you. I was greeted with a smile, told how today's visit was going to run, was rang up and paid for my service - all within 5 minutes. I sat on the most comfiest couches and watched 2 episodes of the Mandalorian. My car was finished and the lovely cleaning lady came in and gathered me off the couch. My car looks amazing. The side by side of the cup holders was my main concern, they were so crumby and dirty but they did AMAZING. Customer service was perfect. Wow! Today, I witnessed the owner berate a customer and call the police after she left his sunroof open when cleaning and destroyed the inside of his car. Do yourself a favor and do not go here. We will be taking our business elsewhere. She was irate and wouldn't take responsibility for her own actions, just shouting obscenities. How is this place still in business. Not only was she terrible to this customer, but she had a stank attitude to me as well. If I could rate it zero, I would. Update: When the owner thinks an attack is happening but it's not. They rely on her business for employment but her lack of humility and ill use of professionalism will drag them through the mud with her. However, as I see more and more publicly from her... I have been going to Waterways Car Spa for close to 5 years. I won't be going any longer. Customer service hasn't always been the greatest, but what are you looking for as it's just to get your car washed. Today I brought in about 4 "stamp" cards that are given out to notate your washes. After 10 washes you get a free wash. I don't always remember to get mine stamped or remember to bring the card. Finally I gathered mine up to bring them in to simply consolidate into one card. I would not have gotten a free wash (only 6 stamps/punch outs) but it would at least create one card instead of all I have collected. After asking what wash package I wanted I asked if she could consolidate my cards. She immediately said no without any remorse or explanation, simply stating she won't do it followed by silence to my follow up inquiry. On the spot I canceled my car wash and left. Keep in mind I can have my car washed anywhere. I chose to keep coming back here as I felt I would stay loyal to the place I've gone for quite some time. No longer. Business owners don't seem to understand that they survive ONLY because of the customers they bring in. I've worked in customer service my entire life, and the attitude of response I received upon my request was more than enough to just leave and never come back. **for what it's worth, about 5 years ago a close friend of mine who also went there frequently stopped going because the wash broke a factory installed radio antenna and refused to fix the damage. The communications between both parties last over a month and the car wash simply refused saying he couldn't prove it. Maybe that was my sign, years ago, to recognize a dying business. I took my new car here (less than 5,000 miles) for a car wash. I asked for an exterior wash plus wheels and tires. Instead, what I got, was another customer's Dodge Ram repeatedly bashed into my vehicle. Normally, I take my car through the automatic wash uneventfully, the employees dry the car, do the wheels and tires, and I'm on my way. Not today. Today, the first time I tried to put the car through the wash, it moved my car through without washing it. Next, I made the mistake of allowing one of the employees to take my car back around through the wash. I went inside the building to watch my car go through the wash. Everything was looking good until about halfway through. At that point, my car stopped moving. I looked for an employee to tell, but there was no one in sight. I watched in horror as a Dodge Ram creeped up behind my car. At this point, I am thinking, "there ain't no way that Dodge Ram's gonna hit my car." But, it did. Over and over. After witnessing the first impact, I ran outside to find an employee. Another customer told me that by the time they got the conveyor stopped, the Dodge Ram hit my car about five times. After about thirty minutes of trying to get the attention of a manager to address the situation, I spoke to who I believe is the owner. So I am a return customer. My Toyota needed a good clean and since I had such good work in the past, I assumed I would receive the same service. NOPE! I even paid for the more expensive package "The Best" for $29.99 + Tax. My car came back sticky, nothing had been wiped down, there were new fingerprints on the radio, windows, and console. Areas that easily could have been cleaned with a wet wipe were left as-is (but now sticky and dirty). The hood of the car still had bird poop on it and the wheel wells were filthy. I spoke to the manager and showed him the car. He said that's what I paid for. That if I wanted to have the car wiped down inside, that would be $59.00 more. WHAT?! So my advice, avoid this place. After using this car wash for over 15 years, my friend and I took our cars in for a 13.99 wash. We both paid upfront as usual but I had an incident with the wife who is the cashier regarding my card showing 9 washes paid for and get the 10th free. She told me that the card I had was no longer valid and that I could not keep my 9 washes. After much very unfriendly discussion she issued me a new card with only 4 spots marked. I was upset but decided to let it go. My car was completed first and for some reason, I could not find my receipt which is usually given to the person who dries off the car. I spoke once again to the wife, who was in the process of cursing and yelling very loudly at one of her employees, she said OK just go. I was almost home when my friend called almost in tears and said that the owner would not give her the keys to her car as the number on her receipt did not match the number placed in the car. So he determined that one of us didn't pay for our car wash. After much ado, it showed that both of us paid but the wife never issued me a receipt and then gave it to my friend. While waiting for my car, I'm on my phone and she's yelling at me several times to get off my phone. Unbeknownst to me, she had just come outside and was yelling/cussing her employees, and the other customers around me made me aware. Apparently she thought I was "recording" her, which obviously I wasn't. On Saturday September 16th around 1:30pm I went to Waterways with plans to get the $10 wash with wheel shine. It was raining lightly, and no one was out front drying cars as they came out of the wash. Therefore, I asked the woman taking payment (normally wears pink pants and a white shirt - "the owner") if they were still doing tire shine, since it was raining a little. She told me that the tires are cleaned inside of the wash. I responded, "Yes, I know but I want the wheel shine and they typically clean (spray) the tires once I am out of the wash. She informed me that "no that's just a courtesy." I then responded with, "okay, I'll just look at the tires once the car is out of the wash." In the middle of this exchanged she told me to hold on. An employee was trying to maneuver a larger pick-up truck between two posts. Now, I sensed that she was a little bothered by my questions about the tire shine, but I just brushed it off because I had legitimate questions, as a customer. However, I became dishearten as I watched her exchange with the woman (employee) trying to turn the pick-up truck around. I don't speak Spanish; however, I understand tone and body language. Her exchange with the employee driving the truck was more like chastising/rebuking, rather than simply directing her between the posts. She walked back over to my car and told me she needed to get the card scanner. As she walked off, I turned and said, "I am sorry, I have another question." I wanted to ask her about pricing/time for a full car detail, as I was considering the full detail while she was directing the employee in the pick-up truck. The woman in pink pants, and white shirt, "the owner" looked back at me and said, "well I don't have an answer!" She then walked off. I literally sat in my car with my mouth wide-open for a few seconds...in disbelief. I asked for the owner, as I was not aware at this time that she is one of the owners. When directed to the gentleman (who I have never had an issue with) by one of the employees I told him about the exchange. I informed him that I had been a customer for more than 10 years, that I drove from Oviedo to Casselberry for that car wash specifically, and that I passed several car washes along the way. I did not yell; however, I was very firm in communicating that I would not be back and that I would be writing a review about the exchange. The woman walked by and yelled out, "You're wasting your time because I am the owner" (very arrogantly). The gentleman gestured to her to move on and apologized. I drove home trying to reconcile what caused her response, and I concluded that she must have been bothered by my questions regarding the tire shine. I was not rude when asking the questions; however, "some" business owners/employees can be bothered by customer questions. In addition, my objective for informing the gentleman about the exchange was not to get her fired (before learning that she is a co-owner). However, I absolutely wanted to inform him that he was losing an upsell (because I was going to go for the full detail for nearly $100), AND a customer of more than 10 years. And that I intentionally went out of my way to do business with them. I sincerely hope that this woman deals with whatever is going on in her life professionally/personally because neither her employee, nor I, deserved to be treated so crudely. I am also a business owner, and I would NEVER (have NEVER) treat a subordinate or client like she did. Please know that her lack of emotional intelligence/customer services/humanity is jeopardizing your business (and I am sure employee morale). I never read any of the reviews until after Saturday's incident. My husband and I have been coming here for years. I purchased a wash book in November for 44.95. I used a coupon for a full service wash the day I purchased the book. Today I went to use the book and was told it was exterior only book. I told her I purchased a full service wash book and The girl that sold it to me gave me the wrong one. Today I sent my daughter and son-in-law there to have their car cleaned before their trip back home, thinking they would get the excellent service that I always did. Unfortunately, my son-in-law lost the ticket. This resulted in the owner yelling at them about it, and them being embarrassed, and it was an overall mess. When they told me the tale, I was so upset. I drove there to hear the owners' side. She said she didn't yell at them. I remarked that she was yelling at me. She said she yelled at them because they lost the ticket, I asked her if she had any workaround for a case like that she said no you had to have the ticket. Fourth time going to this place and it's fairly competitive price amongst the area. But the owner and manager are completely unprofessional. First I got in my car and they broke my navigation button from the interior clean. Spent 15min searching my car to find it, and lucky I was able to force the button back in. They washed my car and it started raining and I understand that is out of there control. They gave me a rain check for 48hours. Can back within my time and there machine was down and it was a 40min wait. So the manager (red shirt and beard) gave me a rain check for 12/25/18. Which they were closed for. Plus during the holidays people tend to travel. I get back in town and go to him and say hey man can you honor this, I always come here and tip your guys. He says no. I ask the owner (shorter, gray hair, belly guy) whom I've worked with and he says no it's no his problem. That's just bad business for someone that's frequented the establishment and paid $23 each time. They lost my business for there lack of diligence and good faith effort. As you can see from the other reviews the management instead of resolving issues they rather be combative. This isn't an isolated situation. READ OTHER REVIEWS! I thought I would share a terrible experience I just had (Monday, October 19, 2020 at about 8:45 a.m.) at Waterways on Semoran and Lake Howell Lane. We have been regular customers of the car wash over the years, given its convenient location near our home. We are selling a car, so I took it to Waterways to have it washed, waxed and detailed before posting it for sale. The young man outside quoted me a price, and when I took the receipt inside to pay, the woman behind the register told me it was $40 higher than the quoted price. I mentioned the discrepancy, and assuming a mixup on the discount the outside employee quoted me, I went outside to talk to him. When the gentleman outside (who was very courteous the whole time) came inside to discuss the correct discount to be applied, the woman behind the cash register became irate, and cussed at the outside employee. Having seen her at the business a number of times, I asked if she was the owner. After ignoring the question the first two times I asked, she finally replied multiple times "No. I am a stranger. I am a stranger." She then walked away, glaring at the other employee and declaring in a loud voice, "I am so sick and tired of this shit." The older gentleman with the English accent I also see there regularly (who I assume is the other owner), came to the register to try to rectify the discount situation. He ultimately got the price down close to what the outside gentleman quoted me, but the woman then came back and started yelling at me. I then asked the older gentleman whether she was one of the owners, and she again became irate. She finally told me that her name was Contessa. I told the older gentleman that she was cussing at the other employee in front of customers, and that we were regular customers, but regardless, no customer deserves to be treated this way. I observed to him that these types of businesses live and die by online reviews, to which Contessa replied "I wipe my ass with those reviews." During Contessa's second tirade, I told her that perhaps I should video her outburst, so their other local customers could see what I was experiencing, to which she grabbed her backside with both hands and said "Make sure you get this!" Pure class. Contessa then continued to berate me, and then insulted me, my mother, my wife and any children she thought we might have. Suffice it to say, I laid down the two punch cards that were almost completely filled on the counter, told the older gentleman we would never be back, collected our vehicle and just left. I am always willing to cut people who may be having a bad day a bit of slack, but this woman went WAY beyond the line. I obviously highly recommend no one ever gives them another dime of your money. After leaving, I learned that Contessa and the older gentlemen are the co-owners. Response to owner comment: As expected, the owners try to shift blame from the atrocious, unprovoked, unwarranted, foul-mouthed nastiness of one of the owners to the innocent customer. The older gentleman owner--who I assume wrote the comment--is always nice, but it is obvious he lacks the ability to exert any control whatsoever over Contessa's temper, and instead of dealing with that enormous problem, he shifts blame to the customer. And I would have never claimed to be a banker, as I am not one. I will, however, be happy to represent your secured creditor lender when this business goes bankrupt as the result of Contessa's continued tirades. A brief review of Yelp reviews, Google reviews and local Facebook group reviews reveals that it is, indeed, Contessa who is the source of almost all negative reviews. I checked out their website before coming to see what their prices were and I was pleased to see a $12 service for the the exterior wash plus interior vacuumed and dusted, windows cleaned, and door jambs wiped. I travel a lot for work so I'm constantly in my car and I know it'll end up getting dirty again so I just wanted something simple, which is what this service sounded like. Keep in mind, I also have a corgi so there's some dog hair in my car which I just wanted to get vacuumed out. I pulled up to the car wash and was met by a lady who was asking people what services they wanted and "evaluating" their cars to try and up sell other products (which I understand). When she got to me I told her I wanted the $12 full service wash. She opened my car door and said "Nope, we can't do that for you. We're going to have to do an interior shampoo and conditioning in order to get the hair out." I proceeded to tell her that I just wanted a basic wash/vacuum and nothing else but she interrupted me and told me "We won't vacuum your car. It needs to be shampooed." I was extremely surprised because 1) there was no negotiating with this woman even though I'm trying to purchase a car wash 2) she was extremely rude and 3) I was being denied the entire service of getting my car washed and vacuumed. She insisted that I HAD to get the inside of my car shampooed and that they would not wash my car otherwise. Keep in mind, getting the interior shampooed is at least $49.99 (according to their website). I told her thank you and that I would not be interested in the services today and she shouted at me as she walked away "Okay but you're going to have to get the interior shampooed regardless". I've gone to multiple DIY car washes where you run your car thru the machine and vacuum it yourself. Every time it takes me about 15 minutes to vacuum "all the hair" out of my car and it has never required an interior shampoo. I was extremely disappointed in the customer service of this place and how I was treated. I won't be coming back considering that I was denied a car wash unless I got the services that THEY wanted me to get. read more
