I didn't take pictures though, because... laziness, mostly... Also, we're a "no shoes indoors" family, so I'm sure the cleaning would be even more noticeable for you indoor-shoe-wearers (with your terrible life choices). The lady (Elaina) who scheduled the appointment was friendly and responsive; I had left a voicemail during the weekend, and didn't expect a response until the following Monday, but she texted me the same day to answer my questions. Elaina said they would do a free consultation/estimate (which I ended up requesting). Initially, she had quoted a price range, based on the information I had provided, but after they measuring the house specs during the consultation, it ended up being a little cheaper than the quoted price. On the day of the cleaning, they finished the work within 70 minutes, despite saying that it would be closer to two hours. One of the dudes was named Tyler, who seemed like the veteran of the two. I missed the other guy's name but he seemed newer. But they were both friendly, and capable. I don't know if the prices are reasonable to be honest, because we've never done this before, but it seemed reasonable for the type of work involved. It was a little more than $300 to clean all the tile in our house.

We called around to a few places and we chose clean and dry because they had great reviews, we wanted to support a local business, and they offered a military discount. Even with the discount, they were a little more than some of their competitors, but based on everything else we decided to give them a chance. I called and got a quote from Kathy (who is extremely nice and helpful). When I called back to schedule, there was some confusion on the original quote not including a hallway we had discussed so she said she would include the hallway at no cost. The owner, Stacy, showed up to our home, and as we were doing the walkthrough I mentioned the hallway and confusion. He said that he heard the phone calls, agreed they were confusing, and said it's normally 30 for the hallway but he would do it for free if we wanted him to. I agreed since that was what we were quoted, and he said, "You know what, I don't want to do any of it." When I asked what he meant, he said he doesn't work for free and said he was leaving. I was confused since he offered to do it for free, but he walked out. I don't know if he was in a bad mood already, but that is terrible customer service and he was extremely rude to my wife and I. There were so many other ways to handle the situation. My wife and I had moved all of our stuff out of the rooms and had our kids sleep downstairs so he would have plenty of room to work and since we wouldn't be able to access the rooms until they dried. Had he tried to talk to me about it we probably could have up with a solution, but he refused to do anything at that point. I called Kathy back and she said she would try to figure out what was going on, but I never heard anything back. I would recommend finding someone else to clean your carpets.
