Presentation: The kebab came wrapped in foil paper on a plate with fries. Taste: Chicken Kebab with cheese, BBQ and Garlic sauce. The kebab is smaller than most other kebabs but what it lacks in size, it makes up in flavour. I've never been a fan of kebabs which have too much meat. This kebab had the perfect amount of meat, vegetables, and sauce. One of the best chicken kebabs I've had in a long time. The meat was tasty and not too salt. Sauce not too overbearing. The fries came with chicken salt and I think paprika. Really crispy and delicious. Service: The guys at the counter were cool. They just did their thing. Location/Atmosphere: Not somewhere you'd take your partner out for a romantic dinner lol. It's in a very convenient location, just 2 minutes walk from the station. Carpark 1 minute walk away. Recommendation: This is now one of my favourite kebab shops. Will drop by next time I'm going through Bankstown. Cost: Kebab + fries + Drinks : $13.50

Kebabs, Gozleme, Pide. Even fish and chips and baklava. It's cash only so make sure to take out money before you come. Don't forget to try their home made chilli if you like a bit of spice with your kebab. Whilst most restaurants close by 10pm in Hurstville this joint is open past midnight. Definitely my new go to place for some late night food.

Iraqi food? In Sydney? Yep there sure is…read more I can't say enough good things about this place. The owner will always greet you with a smile, a rarity in most places nowadays. The food can be simply described as simple and extremely tasty. My go-to dish here is always the mix plate which consists of kebab, tika and chicken tika (a plate is enough to share for two), all meats grilled over a coal barbeque and complimentary salad/pickles and of course Iraqi bread (which is similar to Lebanese bread but a bit thicker and more filling). I love eating the meat with the delicious Middle Eastern chilli sauce that's provided as a condiment on every table. I can't fault this place, every time I go I'm never disappointed. The lamb shanks were so tender and flavorful as were the chicken and lamb tika, the waiter was correct in saying we had enough food as we couldnt finish it. I have never had iraqi cuisine before but I would say this place is pretty authentic. I feel like they dont have to be overly nice to customers because the food speaks for itself, or maybe it's just their way and custom, I did note that there were no females working there, just cranky men.

Having spotted the Ozy Kebabs stand, I sneakily headed over and ordered a chicken and mushroom pide. I usually have a pide once in a while at uni, so I thought it would make for good comparison. I have to say I was quite impressed with the size of the meal I had that day, and for only $4, I found myself quite full too. The kebabs are quite reasonable, minus the bread being a little tough, but they really don't stack up to other kebab places I've eaten at. I'm sorry if she reads this, but maybe if she does she'll realise that there's more competition for a quick and cheap meal - and it's a little closer to home.
