I was tired of Weyandt hurting me under the drill. They get away with it by asking you, the patient, if you are numb yet? You're not a dental expert, and the topical numbness you can detect does not confirm numbness of the dental nerves. To try to avoid the usual agony, I had decided to wait at least 10 minutes after anesthesia before letting her drill on me. There's a clock on the monitor in the room. It was 1:51PM when I was injected. At 1:58, seven minutes, she came in and wanted to drill on me. Demanded - she refused to wait another 3 minutes. I refused to submit yet again to the agony she routinely inflicts on me. She called me delusional and asked if I forgot to take my meds - as if I have no knowledge of whether I have been in pain. She demanded that I leave, and I left. She told me never to come back. I don't think she should get so angry that I refused to let her hurt me anymore. I had told her before that I always felt a lot of pain under her drilling. Her staff is pretty good, mostly kind and friendly. It raises some questions that she refused to wait 3 minutes longer for the anesthesia to take better effect. I don't think it was a big ask. The building looks nice, but so what? That doesn't make it OK to hurt people. Other reviewers seem to like her, maybe she was trying to drive me off. It worked. read more

I came to Dr Weyandt for a couple of broken teeth. Not surprisingly, was sent to oral surgeon to have them pulled, with the plan being to return to Dr Weyand to be fitted for a new partial afterward. I later found our that on the day of my exam, Dr Weyandt elected to no longer be my dentist, but waited until 9 days after the exam, after two non-returned calls, to let me know, through her office staff, that she no longer wished to be my dentist. As a fellow healthcare professional, I feel that this is a terrible way to treat a patient. The ensuing delays prolonged my care, and, per the lecture that Dr Weyant had given me, likely endangered my health. read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Weyant and her staff! From the minute I walked in, I was met with smiles from everyone. And they all obviously love their jobs! You can tell by their enthusiasm to help. I am a very nervous dental patient, and they were so kind and let me know they would take good care of me. Dr. Weyant was amazing! Her bedside manner was so confident and patient, and she calmed all my fears. She had suggestions for treatment and explained everything in great detail so I could understand. Very professional but so down to earth - it was like visiting a friend who was going to fix my dental problems!! Her assistant, Tina, is a saint!!! She kept me calm and assured me that my smile would be beautiful. Her attention to detail gave me such peace of mind, I just laid back and let them work their magic!! The dentist was very rude and condescending to me. I was already anxious about going to the dentist during a pandemic, so when I noticed that she didn't have an N95 on(just a kN95 and a surgical mask) I asked if she could wear a face shield as well just to be overly cautious. Despite having one on the table right behind her, she argued and said she didn't need one because there wouldn't be any splash back. I asked if she could just wear it anyways, but she still argued and I gave in. Then she said very sarcastically, "Have there been new reports of covid flying out of people's eyes?" So condescending. The tech, however, went along with my request without any sass. What's the harm in taking two seconds out of your day to humor an anxious customer? read more

Absolutely had the worst experience ever with this dentist. She used to have a small office off of Allen heights, she was so different then. Unfortunately, the big new fancy building off Waters road has turned her focus to money & money alone. She told me I needed $30,000 worth of work to "fix" my TMJ!!! The sales pitch was aggressive and so awkward. My neurologist could not believe a dentist would suggest they could fix my severe "muscular" & "nerve" issues (nothing to do with my teeth) by reshaping each individual tooth. read more

All these reviews are quite the opposite of the experience I had. Dr. Weyandt was fantastic, extremely kind and knowledgeable, and made sure everything was as easy and painless as possible. Pricing for any dental work anywhere is not exactly cheap, but for the service and hospitality she and her staff provide, it is worth every penny. I highly recommend. read more
