As the web world eeked its way upon me, I started to feel like I really needed to learn some new tricks. At C2, that was so much easier than I could have thought. The classes are super small and intimate. The instructors really know their stuff - um, hi, Adobe certified. In the past month I have taken 2 sessions on subjects I knew very little about. This American Home Inspectors Training Institute was one of the worse decisions and investments that I have ever made in my life. Was missed informed from admin Justin Cull, based on the AHIT's remote online course. Back in March 22nd 2024, I decided to purchase the American Home Inspectors Training Institute, "Expert Course". I was enrolled by Mr. Justin Cull, Senior Admissions Coordinator - Phone# 262-565-5308 - Email: justin.cull@theceshop.com Unfortunately the Senior Admissions Coordinator, whose name is Justin Cull, did not properly provided the full information based on the American Home Inspectors Training CE course. I did asked him if they have any onsite campus, or vocational schools available around my area in South Florida that I can physically attend, and interact with students, and teachers. It is appalling to know they do not have any available vocational schools, or campuses at this time in South Florida. So, I decided to take chance putting my money, and trust to take the Online Remote "Home Inspectors Expert Course" $1399 Value course, but was not told that there will be an additional charge of $600 for the 2 day fieldtrip program with a Master Home Inspector who will be testing our skills in a live residential property. The online remote program was supposed to be a 4 - 11 months program, based on what was stated from the Senior Admissions Coordinator, Mr. Justin Cull. That is absolutely not true!... This remote home inspectors program has different disciplines or trades of work to understand, along with non-stop Volumes within the same disciplined or trade.. the Residential Home is the state of Florida does Not have basements, yet in the Remote Online Florida Home Inspectors Course for AHIT inspecting the basement was included....Why??? For example you will have Plumbing 1, Plumbing 2, Plumbing 3, Plumbing 4, Roofing 1, Roofing 2, Roofing 3, Roofing 4. Unfortunately with all the subjects you are taking in order to better understand the Home Inspectors profession, they initially give you 12 months ( 1 year) to complete the course. When in reality with all the information you are retaining is overwhelming. To be honest they should give the students who are taking this remote online course at least 24 months to complete ( 2 years to complete ). This is Not a 4 - 11 month program to complete especially when you are taking the "Expert Package Course". I really wish the administrative individuals, and management can be more understanding and respectful to the time and money we all invest to better our future and probably obtain a career in this field. I suggest for everyone who is looking to become a home inspector. Don't waist your time enrolling in a school and call a home inspector company located around your area and see if they schedule a ride a long to observe the profession and its entirety. Maybe they can advise you which school is better to take the Home Inspection Course.

I am a student at MATC and didn't know about their automotive program until I needed major engine…read morework. A band had broke in my engine. Taking this to a dealership would have cost me thousands of dollars. (all of it labor costs) MATC's automotive department only charged me for parts. The students gain valuable knowledge by working on cars and there is a certified mechanic overseeing them. I don't think I will go back to my normal dealership again for repairs. I have since had both outside tie rods and an axel replaced. I highly recommend giving them a try.

I attended RCC for 2.5 years for the Vet Tech program. It has it's pros and it has it's cons…read more PROS: -Instructors are very nice. If you are there to learn and you're determined, you will get the attention and help you need to succeed. If you are there and do not try your hardest, instructors will not go out of their way to assist you in your future. I loved all of my vet tech instructors. -It is challenging. I was not expecting such an extensive program given that it is Rockford. I was TOTALLY wrong. This is possibly the hardest program/educational course I have ever gone through. This program will pick out your weaknesses and you will need to study your butt off. This isn't a program that you can just sit back and relax in. -Price is fairly cheap. Now, given that I started the program when tuition was $36k for the entire program, RCC has made changes so those with some financial trouble are able to attend. I believe it is now $160 for each credit hour? Don't take my word for it, but prices have dropped. CONS: -Vet Tech program changed about 2-3 times while I was attending classes there. The school was undergoing some changes and that caused me to have a later graduation date than originally stated, which in turn made me upset. I was set to finish the program in December, but instead, now finishing in March. It may not seem like a huge deal, but after so long in the program, I was ready to be done. -Everyone in power is hard to get in touch with. Several times my father has tried to get in touch with the financial adviser at RCC and will not get a call back. Same goes with e-mail to some of the staff and program director. I understand that there are several students to get in touch with, but speed should be improving, especially since RCC is growing. -Staff is sometimes unpleasant. There have been several instances where I have come in contact with some grumpy people. My fellow vet tech student ordered Jimmy Johns to have delivered to the front desk so she could eat lunch during our 12 hour day in the vet tech department. When Jimmy Johns arrived, the "manager" Dewey, basically yelled at my friend that ordering food and having the front desk assistant notify her when her food was there is unacceptable and is not allowed to be done. I understand how this can be a problem, but it was like the umpteenth time she had done this. And Jackie at the front is not always so peachy. There have been a few times she has made me sign in when I had forgotten my ID. She clearly knows me, as I have been going there for 2 years. But she is never really pleasant to me, -The front doors are open a majority of the time. We are given ID badges when we first sign up for our program and they are to be used and warn at all times. There is no need of the badges if the front doors are always open to intruders. And of course, when they do close the doors, I forget my badge, and I get blamed for not having my ID the one day they DO decide to close the doors. RCC is in Rockford and Rockford isn't really all that safe. Those doors should be close all the time except for orientation. It wasn't my favorite school, but I am glad to have gone through the Vet Tech program. Would highly recommend the program, not necessarily the school. Happy to be graduating in MARCH!
