It is situated up on the cliffs above the small broad haven beach, the otherside of bosherston lilli ponds. Its has so much charm and beauty. A couple of seconds walk and your on the nation park coast path and greeted by the most wonderful views, the best in wales along side the views of the preseli mountains as reviewed on this site. It is near millitary ground st Martins, but they are hardly ever using it, there is a little station box on the coast path that if it was in use would have a barrier down etc. But this is never the case. The campiste has a basic toilet block with 3 toilets for each, but no showers. This is no problem realy and olny adds to the natural and rustic charm. And having the sea so close, your always in it, so a salty wash is always best!, But if a shower is in need of, there is a shower around the back of the toilet block in the national trust car park that is just over the hedge to the campsite. This is a only cold though and meant more for a rinsing after being in the sea. The owners who own the most stunning farm house and out buildings that have been converted and can be rented, are extremly friendly. and do regular checks of the campsite and facilities. They walk past, give a wave, and have a chat. A realy friendly family ortientated place. One time i was there, there owner made me stop putting the awning of my camper van and made me watch the setting sun with him as it dissapeared over the disstant horizon. Perfect! The views are breath taking.. and the campsite at night is beautifully quiet.. This really is heaven! hearing the sea crashing, and watching the stars that are mega mega bright above, whilst sat in the doorway of the awning with a drink in hand and haveing a good chat with friends!!! yep, sure is heaven!

Gosh, talk about serendipity, I just welcomed my friend home and asked where she'd been for the last couple of days. 'Three Cliffs Bay Caravan Site', says she. And I stare back google-eyed. So it's a pretty popular spot for the people of South Wales to escape to for a couple of nights away. It's also massively popular for summer holidays and can be seriously booked up during July and August. So get in there fast kids! The facilities are good, and there's everything you need to look after yourself while away. They also have a particularly good children's play area. While certain sections of this camp site can get very busy, usually you'll be able to escape to a quieter field. It can get a little bit blustery though!

My parents sited their caravan here by chance, we will now camp there for several weeks and many weekends through out the year. Owned by fantastically friendly people too. Build camp fires where you wish, play in the river, go horse riding or on picturesque walks through and around the Doone Valley. I'm a photographer / walker and I absolutely love it here, so does my other half and our 4yr old daughter as well as my parents.

Beautiful stunted oak wood covered in moss and lichen. Dog friendly though lots of sheep wandering about. Very helpful and friendly owner. We're definitely coming back in the spring for a longer stay.

They do have sales from time to time so you can get a reasonable reduction. Good also for camping gear and shoes and boots. UPDATE NOV 2010: I've come back to give this shop an extra star rating after the wonderful, friendly and helpful service I received yesterday from the the young guy who was serving in there. The store stocks a good range of camping and outdoor equipment and whilst I dont go camping very often I do like to buy the childrens outdoor coats here. The quality of their products is good and hard wearing and I have never had reason to complain. Childrens coats can range from £15 to £30 however I feel this is worth paying for. Most of their items seem to be priced a little above average but I guess that you get what you pay for. Staff are always helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend a visit if you havent been to a Millets before.

More importantly it is very well managed with one of the most helpful and friendly teams of staff we have ever met! Having had bad experiences with other site owners and managers in the area, we were wary when we recently visited the park as potential owners. However, we were reassured by their open and honest approach to business and willingness to go the extra mile to seek individual solutions and support their customers. If you are looking into ownership or holiday rental, you can be assured of being treated with respect in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Highly recommend!
