    03/23/2024: This WaWa has better pizza/food than most restaurants around here. They are the best, plain and simple.

I pay cash everywhere I go and have yet to experience this problem anywhere but McDonald's. Twice, McDonald's has shorted me change due to allegedly not having any pennies. To this date, they owe me $0.06 cents. If they are doing this to every patron that pays cash, they are profiting by the end of each day. Maybe they should change their prices to accommodate the loss of pennies and quit short-changing their customers. Here is a follow-up... In response to the reply, I did that as well as email McDonald's about this crookedness, below is the email interaction: Hi Nikki, Due to a nationwide penny shortage, we'll be rounding cash change to the nearest 5 cents. Menu prices will remain the same, only your change will be rounded. Here's how rounding works: Ends in 1¢ or 2¢ round down to 0¢ Ends in 3¢ or 4¢ round up to 5¢ Ends in 5¢ or 0¢ Exact change given Ends in 6¢ or 7¢ round down to 5¢ Ends in 8¢ or 9¢ round up to 10¢ We appreciate your understanding! Our waitress came over and took our drink order and we asked for a little time to place our appetizer order. When the waitress returned, we placed our order and she asked us to place our main course order. We asked if we could wait until she brought the appetizer. She never returned. We waited and watched as she continued to go from table to table taking orders, delivering orders and occasionally looking our way. Finally, the owner came to our table and took our order. Our food was brought to us by the waitress and that was the last we saw of her. Still, people waiting for table seating. Other customers finishing their meals and we wait. And wait. And wait. Finally, the owner comes back over to us as our waitress watches. We told him that we have been waiting for a box and the check for over twenty minutes. I guess she thought that we made her wait to take our order, that she would make us wait for our dinner. The owner apologized, brought a box and the check. And the waitress watched. Her passive-aggressive behavior was amazing. As we were leaving, the owner apologized again. We have always enjoyed eating at his restaurant. The owner is such a hard-working gentleman and the food is so good. It is a shame that his business is being ruined by this waitress. As good as the food is, the service was horrible. I can honestly say we will not be back.

    3/5 stars: "My Pleasure" Felt More Like "My Inconvenience"…read more I've been a loyal Chick-fil-A customer for years, and the brand built its reputation on hospitality. That's why this morning's visit stung. I came in around 9:45 a.m. for breakfast. After finishing my meal, I walked up to the pickup area inside with my empty cup in hand, which at any Chick-fil-A is a universally understood signal for a refill. No line. No other dine-in customers. Just me, standing there. For about ten minutes, I watched four employees walk past me. They called out DoorDash orders for drivers who weren't even in the building. One employee left the counter to wipe down the dining room and walked right past me without a word. Another walked over to drop a bag on the DoorDash shelf, looked through me, and kept moving. I asked for a refill three separate times. Ignored each time. Finally, I stopped a young man heading back to the kitchen and asked, "Do you still do refills?" He said yes and started to walk off. I had to ask a second time: "Could you please give me a refill?" He paused, said "Sure, my pleasure," and grabbed my cup. Here's the thing. "My pleasure" is supposed to mean something here. It's part of why people choose Chick-fil-A over every other fast-food chain on the strip. When it gets reduced to a scripted line you mumble to make a customer go away, the entire brand promise falls apart. I'm not writing this to get anyone in trouble. I'm writing it because the standard S. Truett Cathy set was the reason this company became what it is, and the team on shift this morning needs a reminder of what that standard actually looks like. Acknowledging the person standing three feet in front of you with an empty cup is step one. To the operator: I'd genuinely love to see this addressed. The food was fine. The service was the problem.
