The customer service here can be subpar depending on the cashier that you get. Most of them you can tell are just there to do their job and go. Which is fine I suppose. It's a gas station! What more can you expect. Prices are usually decent I guess. But, if you buy items inside as well as when you fuel up and you scan the app, then you accrue points. In the long run, you can use those points to get 15-30 cents off of your gas purchase. Which I think that's worth it. Beware of the overwhelming population of beggars/homeless (not all of them are homeless-some just beg for money) at the gas station. Be cautious of your surroundings. read more

Probably the worse Wawa I visited. Dirty, staff is careless and just send you from personnel to personnel instead of going in the back and looking for an item. The guy who makes paninis took his sweet time and still forgot ingredients. While waiting, another customer went to confirm when his drink will be ready and the girl who makes them said "I got nothing in the system". He had a receipt and already paid for it. Arrived here after being downtown for an event to grab a late lunch. This was the first time I've been to this location and the parking lot is huge. It's near a bunch of other places like the Krispy Kreme. My husband and I both ordered on the kiosk and he ordered a hoagie/sub as well as a cold brew coffee, while I got a meatball sub and broccoli cheddar soup as the lunch combo. Once we went to checkout, we were offered free pretzels by the cashier. Super friendly and paying was extremely fast. We waited no more than 5 minutes for our food to be ready, My husband's drink was already ready by the time we even walked over to the pickup area. It may have seemed fast due to it being mid day on a Sunday but still great nonetheless. My food was delicious and the meatball sub and soup was still warm and fresh by the time I arrived home. From the first 5-10 minutes I was there, I kept thinking, "oh man, this is bad. Bad, bad, bad", but it did get better- a lot better, thankfully. And here's why. Apparently the parking lot is being repaved. This location isn't that old so it struck me as odd, but, okay. Either way, parking was and will be bad until it's completed. Getting around a tiny spot was utterly aggravating, and in the moment, not worth the trip. Finally, after spinning around for longer than I should have, I got a spot and walked inside to a dirty restroom. Aye. Strike two. C'mon, Wawa I love you, but you're killing me. Then I go to order, which was fine, that's easy enough on their touch screens and then I go to pay. The cashier was extremely nice and then I waited. The employees began talking to me and I realized what a great group of people work here. Yes, it was a little dirtier inside than I would have expected for a Wawa, but the friendliness of these people has to be known. Every employee greeted me and chatted with me and made my short wait really enjoyable. As I was leaving, the guy making my order realized he had forgotten a portion of it. He kept yelling until he got my attention and kept apologizing for the oversight and honestly, I wouldn't have remembered or noticed that it was missing, but the fact is- he did and it mattered to him. I love Wawa but unfortunately, this location has not been my favorite. I have been to this location a couple of times both during day and night time. It is steadily busy like most locations at all times but more at night from my experiences. We stopped here during the day once to get gas. It appeared hectic but we were able to get a pump and be on our way shortly after. I did not notice anything strange or out of sorts during that trip. The last time I was here, it was at night. I should also mention it is not located in a great part of town but across the street from the BSO building. I was with my husband and brother and we went to get some coffees to sip and bs. Inside was moderately busy and the line was moving slowly but that was the fault of some customers and not the cashier. We enjoyed our coffees outside away from the front of the store by our car. It was very loud and obnoxious with crappy cars and loud people. It was difficult to hear each other but it was late at night and it was the only place we knew that was open. This is a shame what happened to this location. It's always been a bit seedy from the neighborhood riff-raff peopling the parking lot. That's nothing the Wawa was responsible for and did their best to compensate for with good service and smiling staff. Hard to do given the challenges there but they did it under previous management. I believe Ian was the manger before. He made it his business to ensure that the store ran efficiently. I miss Ian. I miss the seating area outside they somehow managed to keep tidy in spite of everything. Gone now. Locked bathrooms, I know why, but really Wawa? It's not a rest stop without that access at least as may be needed. I will tell you this too: Corporate, do you read these? Those new menus you have for coffee etc SUCK!!! If I haven't had a coffee yet, I'm not operating one of those things. I hate Dunkin Doughnuts for their poor service most of the time. One thing they don't ask me to do is fuss with a convoluted glorified phone-app kiosk to get a prepared coffee. I have operated POS's as a retail food employee before. I do IT work. If I find them unfriendly, average users do too. The new assistant manager did try to walk my partner and I through the nuances of how to obtain which type of coffee (self-served vs kiosk / prepared) but it was all just too confusing. Wawa is a staple in Florida. But there's ALWAYS drama at this locations. There's security guards, homeless people walking around your car while you pump gas asking for money, there's been two occasions where I've seen people cursing out one another because they we're trying to pump gas at the same pump. I would avoid it at all cost if you can. If not and you do end up going inside, the line is always pretty long but the person at the register is always friendly (different person each time). The alcohol is locked and you need to ask for a key before gaining access (which is also telling). Again, I'm giving it two stars because nothing has personally happened to me but I avoid it and have only gone a handful of times when I needed to last minute. read more

The bathrooms were shut down due to homeless people attacking customers but the staff allowed me to use it understanding the situation I was in as well . I came across this Wawa while I was at the super Walmart on Broward Boulevard right before I 95. It is located right in the corner of the shopping center. It has plenty of parking but at the time I came in it was surprisingly full. They are plenty of other shops along side it, like a Chipotle, a T-Mobile, and a few orders so chances are this is a shared parking lot. It has plenty of pumps so I was able to gas quickly. Inside, the store was a little hectic, lots of people waiting around for what I assume were sandwiches and prepare food. I got myself a coffee and I found that it was kind of weak. First time I've experienced this at a Wawa. The cashier was extremely nice however, Very chatty every customer. Overall this is a good Wawa but it's not the best one I have ever been to. I was treated very rudely and my question met with great sarcasm at your 5232 store today. I asked a simple question about where I should pay due to the floor being very wet and freshly mopped and there was no one attending any of the resisters. A young female with red braids in two puffs on her head was very sarcastic and rude. All she had to do was say that all the tegiters are open and that someone would be there to assist me. She instead very sarcastically stated the registers and continued sarcastically to say any of them when I asked her which one was open. The state that the store was in I was attempting to be polite and not just be in the way as they were obviously cleaning and rearranging things. I am very disgusted by my treatment at this location. The napkin holder was empty so I asked the person who gave me the food if they had more napkins, i was told to check by the condiments and that dispenser was also empty.. I love Wawa so much. It's just something about their open and clean cut layout perfect for gas and food that makes it such a popular destination for those on the go. No matter the snack, it's probably available here. With their huge selection of soup, drinks, sandwiches, shakes, chips, and fuel-it's definitely useful and functional. Plus, it's not typical gas station food. They have a sophisticated ordering system and use very fresh ingredients in their menu making it a solid choice for lunch or a quick pit stop before jumping on I-95. The prices can't be beat; everything is super cheap without the cheap taste attached to it. I actually look forward coming to this gas station because I know it's so much more than what usually is a daunting task. Wawa is still my favorite gas station. I highly recommend checking them out for cheap gas, lunch, or for a quick grab item. They usually have friendly service, and are working super hard to quickly fulfill their customers needs. Available selection and price was on point. There were 2 soups available, I ordered one, but received the other and it was less than half full. I almost said something, my friend begged me to allow him to say something, but we never did. We sat outside, and within a minute a homeless guy made us feel uncomfortable. There were 4 homeless people, and a jittery druggie begging for change on premises. It was fun to watch but wasn't a welcoming or safe feeling.
