Alright, the latest Wawa is nearly in the Triangle! Over the years, this NJ gas station/convenience store favorite has slowly been expanding into NC starting at Kill Devil Hills. Then Wilson, Goldsboro and Fayetteville before landing in Garner. Inside you'll find an open an airy space with coffee bar, sandwich/hoagie station along with the usual convenience store items. Keep your eyes open for some more unique items like soft pretzels and Tastykakes! I ordered up 3 hoagies (10" each) which were quite good, decently sized and fairly priced. So nice to have you in the Triangle, Wawa!

I found this location to be much different than the locations up north I'm use to. The coffee options are just a fraction while the food ordering & pick up felt the same. My hoagie was kind of hard which made it difficult to chew however everyone behind the prep counter was really really nice! However, The supervisor with a fro wasn't pleasant. She could use some training or maybe just a bad day? I'll be back for iced coffee next! read more

My first time in a Wawa and the food was fast and fresh! Milkshake was the Bomb.com! The chicken sandwich was the best thing I ever had. Considering it was a gas station.lol Lots of good stuff in this Wawa. And the chicken is so good, too!!!!!!!! Mac and cheese is the perfect temperature even after the 16minute drive home from Wawa! I have to agree with my pal here - very nice Wawa with plenty of food selections, snacks, and drinks to choose from. My daughter did say though that she couldn't taste any Honey on her hoagie, but overall said it was okay. In the area? Check Them Out! read more

AWARENESS: While visiting my daughter in NC a few weeks ago, I told her I book marked the closet Wawa to her since my son, who was stationed in Virginia Beech raved about Wawa so much, I knew I had to try it. NARRATIVE: This Wawa is about a 30 minute drive from the Raleigh area and at night, on that two lane road with no street lights was a nail biter drive. Wawa is basically a gas station with an indoor restaurant (Wawa) and orders can be made via their mobile app, telephone or in person. The selection of food items is pretty extensive. Everything from breakfast items to pizzas. I ordered their meatball sandwich with parmesan cheese, a side of their jalapeño Mac & Cheese and a smoothy refresher drink. My daughter tried their cheese burger and a regular order of Mac & Cheese. My Meatball sub was outstanding! My son didn't steer me wrong and my daughter said her border was just okay. Not something she would order again. We both agreed the Mac & Cheese dishes were very good when hot and fresh but, not worth keeping as left overs and reheating later. SCENE: This Wawa is located in the town of Garner, about a 30 minute drive from Raleigh. RECOMMENDATION(S): It's not a Buc-ee's but it ain't bad either. I'll be back. read more

I have never been to a Wawa gas station before. It recently opened about a month ago. And I pass it going to and from work. It has been busy there! Just with the amount of cars they have all the time in their parking lot. I have not had the pleasure of going inside the store yet. Today I filled up my pump. It was easy, I have the app to eat reward points. I just typed in the pump and chose method of payment and filled up. If I do order food I will be placing a mobile order always! People that are giving a bad reviews are comparing it to a well established location. And just like any new restaurant/ business there are kinks that need to be worked out. And is precisely why I have waited for some of the madness/excitement to die down. read more

Not efficient. Very VERY slow. A personal pizza just with pepperoni took 45 mins!!! Tried to get a refund after waiting 30 mins but the manager wouldn't show up. All in all it's just a gas station. I've been to the one in VA and PA and it's wayyyyy better. read more

Thought I would give this place a second chance. Our first breakfast experience was right after opening and was not good (online order, received wrong food, forgot latte and was ready 30 minutes later than requested). This time instead of online order - went in person and apparently you will not get what you ordered whether in person or online. Special bonus this morning - burned croissant and egg (it takes a lot to burn an egg). One bite and in the garbage it went. Won't waste time and money here again. read more

I have only been to 1 WAWA and it's this one & I am highly impressed! As we did not order food from the grill I am unable to comment on that but the ready-made mozzarella sticks on their heat display were amazing!! I crave them now. The establishment is clean, the staff is super friendly and the variety of coffee, sodas, slushy drinks, juices etc is impressive. Thank you for building a WAWA in our area. I am a fan!! read more

It is good to quit being though if you're in the truck you can pull off to the side there's a lot of food establishments nearby within walking distance. I'd like to give a huge shout-out to Emily at Wawa for absolutely crushing it during the Christmas rush. She was running the drinks station completely on her own, yet still delivered exceptional service with impressive speed, accuracy, and attention to detail. Despite being solo during a busy holiday shift, Emily remained positive, focused, and attentive to every order. Watching her juggle volume, quality, and customer care was truly impressive. Employees like Emily are the reason customers keep coming back. She deserves recognition, whether that's a raise, extra PTO, or some well-earned appreciation.
