I am probably not the only one that goes to Wawa for their convenience store, not so much for their gas. Their gas prices are usually average, not the cheapest, not the most expensive, but their convenience store is always clean, well organized and full of nice items to buy....Yes, they sell bagged snacks and products, but they have a lot of fresh items like baked goods, sandwiches, soups, etc. If you have not been to a Wawa for a snack, do yourself a favor and try it...you will love the prices and the selection....not to mention, the tasty food....

Wth is this Wawa! A finger sandwich!?! Using the smallest end of the bread and stale on top of that. Ridiculous.

Wawa has become my go to place for filling up gasoline. This location I have been a few times when in Lauderhill. The neighboring gas stations are not as busy because Wawa keeping their gas prices pretty competitive. Plus extra saving when you get the Wawa credit card. I've gotten drinks from this location before but no food. Like most Wawa locations, wait for pick up order is a couple of minutes when ordering on the touch screens. The coffee drinks are consistent in taste. Side Note- If you want something different check out their secret menu. You click on the touch screen, point on the goose flying around near left corner. Once you click on the screen the current secret menu will open up. They usually only have two options at a time in this part of the menu. ~

This location is only a few months old and I came here because I had a coupon. They have a nice selection of food items and sandwiches made to order. There are order kiosks around the store and you can customize them all. I had an Italian sub, but on flatbread. I requested that it be toasted, but when I opened the warm box, the bread was kind of warm, but not toasted. The soda service station was a disaster considering it was 1:45PM, not that busy, four employees at the food areas, one on each cash register and one re-stocking cigarettes. I also had to wait when I approached the cashier, as she was busy talking to the employee stocking cigarettes. She literally didn't acknowledge me for 22 seconds. I went to sit at their outdoor tables, but they were all dirty, so I ate in my car. My only advice to Wawa, maintain these areas.

Cool screen to order food the way you want it . still would have been nice if they asked me if I needed help! Because I stood there for a couple minutes and no one said a thing to me . It's always busy outside and well Lit so I didn't feel Strange about stopping here late (11pm).

Club Sandwiches - Turkey & Ham ...missing lettuce and awkwardly not cut diagonally. Just make it look like the picture guys lol

Their sandwich is good and the gas does well for the vehicles. They are usually really packed though at the pumps and inside as well .

Their menu is small, which we actually appreciate because they focus on doing a few things really well. The chicken tenders are perfectly crispy with great seasoning and flavor. The matchstick fries are always crispy too, not too thick or heavy. Meals come with coleslaw and Texas toast, and both are delicious additions. Their signature sauce is a must. I'm not sure what's in it, but it's so good and pairs perfectly with everything. This location is a bit more tight, the parking lot and drive through area. However it is manageable - just a bit more traffic than some other locations we have been too. Service was good and restaurant was clean inside!

It's a fast-food concept that keeps things very simple with a limited menu: chicken tenders, fries, and a sandwich. We tried the 4 Chicken Fingers combo with crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, and the recommended Arnold Palmer, sweet tea mixed with lemonade which was refreshing and enjoyable. My favorites were definitely the Texas toast and the coleslaw. The toast was lightly crisp with a buttery garlic finish that made it easy to enjoy. The coleslaw was fresh with a nice crunch and well-balanced creamy without being overly tangy or sweet. The chicken itself was tender but fairly mild. It was okay on its own and really relies on the sauce to bring the flavor together. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with self-serve fountain drinks and tea, and lemonade available at the counter. Service was prompt, location clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, it was okay. Sometimes simple works and sometimes it's just that: simple. They developed their marinade recipe through backyard barbecues. Their restaurant concept was to marinate and grill the chicken in full view of the customer. By 1993 they had grown to eight restaurants serving Latin Caribbean and Cuban food. Pollo Tropical is now a subsidiary of Fiesta Restaurant Group, Inc. The company headquarters are in Doral and they currently own and operate more than 140 locations throughout Florida, plus five on college campuses, and 32 franchised locations throughout the Caribbean, Central America, South America, and Puerto Rico. I remember eating at Pollo Tropical quiet often in the early 2000's because you could always get a fast, economical, and healthy meal. I especially love the curry sauce but through the years the grubbiness of the restaurants were a real turn off and I gradually stopped going. Fast forward to today when I was with someone who wanted to eat here. I didn't have high hopes but in the interest of being agreeable I went along. Wow, I have to say I am impressed. The restaurant was spotless with an updated tropical color scheme. It looked clean and spacious. The tables weren't sticky and dirty which was always a problem before. Gone is the sloppy, messy sauce station. Instead you request your sauce and it is given portioned out in plastic cups. The young lady who took our order was so nice. I got my usual chicken tropichop with yellow rice and the bowl was topped with perfectly grilled tender chunks of chicken. So good especially when drizzled with the curry sauce. I ate inside and it was very pleasant but you can get your food to go from the drive thru too. This was a really good lunch that didn't leave me feeling heavy, tired, and bloated after. This location of Pollo Tropical deserves some higher stars.

For those unfamiliar, Nashville hot chicken is a style of fried chicken known for its bold heat--thanks to a spicy coating made with hot sauce and cayenne--that packs both flavor and a kick. They currently have a location on Oakland Park Boulevard and recently opened a second spot in Ft. Pierce. I happened to stop by while taking a break from clearing out a nearby Public Storage unit and was looking for a quick bite. This is a fast-casual setup with a few tables on a covered outdoor patio, along with a convenient drive-thru. The menu is pretty broad, offering hot chicken, wings, burgers, Philly cheesesteaks, fish and shrimp, plus sides, drinks, and desserts. Service was friendly and fast. I went with the Philly cheesesteak combo, which came with fries for $9.99. Both the sandwich and fries were freshly made and really tasty--definitely hit the spot. Unfortunately, I didn't stop there and decided to try a slice of chocolate cake. That turned out to be a mistake--it was extremely dry and basically inedible. I ended up tossing it after a few bites. Overall, if you're looking for a quick, no-frills meal in the area, this is a solid option--just skip the dessert.
