I stopped in for gas this evening a had to go inside to get my receipt as I paid for a car wash and their pumps are always out of receipt paper. As I'm standing in line waiting for the couple in front of me to pay the attendant/owner completely loses his mind and starts yelling at the girl for giving him the incorrect amount of money. Instead of calmly or politely saying that she owed him more he just yells at her saying they can't leave because they didn't pay enough. As she's frantically trying to get more money from her wallet, which he can see, he just continues yelling. As the line behind me grows we all are just standing there in complete disbelief watching this situation unfold. This is not the first time I've seen this store owner lose it on a customer. I've personally had an issue with them where they double charged me for prepaid gas at the pump and then refused to issue me a refund, claiming that I'd already pumped the gas. Not sure how I pumped over 40 gallons of gas into my car that only holds 20 but he was convinced that he was right and was rude AF. I disputed the charge (I should have disputed both based on the way he treated me) and put in a complaint with Shell corporate but since these are franchised locations there's not much they can do. This is consequently (but not surprising) the same gas station and owner that was on the local news a few months ago who refused to help a young girl with directions. He called he police on her and it turned out she was a new driver that got lost and didn't have her cell phone and just needed directions. This guy is a Grade A a** hole and I implore anyone from giving these people a reason to be in business. There's literally 3 more gas station in either direction on Oakland - support them.

When you prepay for gas and go back inside requesting an updated receipt they add charges for other items to your card to equal the amount preauthorized or charge more than you owe. When you ask them to fix it, and print a new receipt they tell you they can't print a new receipt and it will be corrected automatically. Just keep checking with your account. When the charge posts to your bank account it's not corrected. When you call and ask for assistance they just talk in circles and tell you that your bank account will eventually update.

I got the crispy chicken on a biscuit with cheese, and it was actually good. The biscuit was warm, and very soft and fluffy. The 2 strips of chicken tenders were impressive, lightly breaded and a solid pieces of all white meat chicken breast. We also ordered an ice coffee, and a biscuit with sausage patty and cheese. It wasn't for me, but surly smelled good. I'll definitely think to stop by and check out whatever else they have to offer inside the mini mart.

The store would be considered ultra modern and very appealing to the eye and offer the common quick snacks, beer and coffee. There are numerous gas pumps and the grounds are clean of debris. A drive through car wash is available. The current fuel price of $3.19 a gallon is competitive. The oversized American flag flying high at the front of the station was a nice respectful touch.

Their breakfast burritos and hoagies are usually my go-to picks, but I decided to opt for the lunch burrito this time around. I no longer use the app since I moved to Georgia but luckily their online ordering system is just as convenient. Now the price of that burrito? Wild. They even charge extra for fajita style veggies :( But I'm greedy and the craving had already set in so $10 later, I had the burrito in my cart for curbside pickup. Upon arrival, we needed to gas up our rental a bit so I figured I'd just head inside anyways. When I walked up to the pickup area to let the team know that I was picking up an order that was supposed to be curbside, I didn't even get a hello. Zero acknowledgment, they just continued going about their business like I was a ghost. Awkwardddd. Luckily, a manager had just come from out the back and I got his attention telling him about my order. He apologized profusely and passed me my order which was sitting right there waiting to be passed onto me. I appreciated that! When I opened my (sealed) bag of goodies, I was pleasantly surprised at how big the burrito was. I see why it was so pricey honestly! It was packed with all the ingredients I chose (veggies, jalapeños, chicken, cheese, a bit of chipotle + salsa, and not too much rice/beans). I'm also glad I went inside because I always want extra salsa or hot sauce and it wasn't included, it really sealed the deal. The burrito was delicious!! I also ordered a cinnamon pull apart roll that was so good to end my meal with as I washed it down with a Wawa lemonade. Just a delicious experience, I can't wait to be back at Wawa when I'm in my hometown.

I would just come in for coffee in the morning even if I did not need to gas my car. It was that good, they also had great drink specials as well which I also used to come by just to get it. I never did try their food which they also have but then again I have never tried Wawa's either. There is something about gas station food that turns me off no matter how good people say it is. Their gas prices are fair though. I was in the area and needed gas so I came down memory lane and use this gas station. I also came in to get pick up a coffee, and I was pleasantly surprised by updated machines they have. You will never ever get cold coffee from here, as each cup is made individually to order. It is a little high tech and the clerk have to show me how to use it but after I got the hang of it (after two failed attempts) I had the best gas station cup of coffee I remember having in a very long time. Yes and that includes Wawa. This area in North Lauderdale is getting a lot of love. A lot of stores have opened including a super Walmart over the last few years, and a brand new plaza has surfaced as well. It is becoming quite the little commercial center. Race track is by far the best gas station in the area.

Although the lines were long from both the Sunrise Boulevard entrance as well as the side, the employees were working hard to serve everyone with courtesy and one of them even had a smile--which is a lot to ask in the scorching SOFLO heat! Open 24/7, and I might say 365 days a year, this location has a tunnel car wash, a couple of stand-alones that dispense water & air, plus a vacuum. Outside of the convenience store, they have a machine for bags of ice and another for propane tanks. Speaking of convenience, their store is stocked with a variety of snacks and other products. At times, wine and cigars have been sold, but in all honesty, I didn't leave my vehicle today to confirm that they still do. In addition to beer and other bottled beverages, fruit, and on-the-go bites, they sell baked goods and espresso. The current workers are bilingual (English-Spanish) and that's a plus in this area of West Broward county, Florida.

I don't care if you go somewhere and spend .94 cents or $94, if you have a legitimate reason for a refund, like I did, then there should be no reason as to why a refund, or in my case and exchange, can't be issued. Having worked retail, I know that some prick managers - the one's who never work - do this. I told the clerk take my green and white Reese's pb cup and my receipt, I'll swap it out for another candy of the same value, this way when your manager comes in you can explain to him what happened. "No. I can't do that." It seems that even the clerk that worked there can't be trusted since he seemed to have absolutely no idea as to what the heck I was talking about. I reiterated it to him, this time I enunciated the words clearer - nope, nothing. Ineptitude, lack of sympathy and a total disregard for the needs of a customer say a lot, especially when the customer is willing to work with the establishment in order to resolve a conflict. So, go there, if you must to get gas but, anything other then that and, you're on your own. If a candy had MOLD in it, then I can just imagine what their other foodstuffs might be like. Dear folks, BE AWARE…read more.... After filling up my gas tank, the pump won't close transaction (claimed faulty by the attendant and after several attempts to close transaction - no luck). The clerk was very uncooperative and denied to issue a manual receipt. The pump was stopped and claimed out of service, however, CC overcharged later, almost double. I see previous recent review with double charge and I can't believe in coincidences... (especially when they use it in there favor :)) Just my 2 cents... :) Thanks and have a blessed day yah all.
