Wawa in Milford, DE needs to step up their game. Last few times I went in for their brand of iced cappuccino, they were totally out of both flavors. Since it is a popular item, one would think they would order enough to meet the demand. Not so. Also, two days ago went in for a salad and there was hardly anything left of many items. Definitely not as good as it use to be. A few years ago, Wawa was THE place to go for a good to-go meal or a coffee. These days, it's hit or miss with the employees. There are a few, like Moira and the lady who makes the bagel sandwiches on weekday mornings (I'm so sorry I can't remember her name) who are AMAZING and go above and beyond to please customers. Most employees, however, are quick to their smoke breaks and slow to help those they work for. At least several times per week, we'll pull up and see employees smoking within 10 feet of the doors! As a customer with young children, I find this entirely unacceptable for a business. I've always been a HUGE fan of Wawa, missing it dearly when I lived on the West Coast. However, within the past few months, I've actually found myself choosing Royal Farms (Ellendale, not Milford) over Wawa. The quality of the food has gone down DRASTICALLY, while the prices have gone up. If I could give no stars I would came in the other night leaving from Ocean City Maryland and the employees were rude! I ended up needing the manager and firstly no one wanted to call her and secondly when we finally got someone to she came over with an attitude and before I finish telling her what the problem is she interrupts and says she can't help and walks away to stock, when I follow and try explaining my problem again she gets increasingly agitated still continues to interrupt me and then Pushes me. The Wawa in Milford is always busy. I went in one day after church to pickup a couple of sandwiches and there wasn't any. I asked the cashier if they were bringing out anymore and he told me they usually stop making them in the afternoon but if I went to the deli they would make them for me. I went over to the deli and the lady gladly made them for me. To the person who complained about the coffee counter, with everyone coming at once I've seen them trying to straighten the counter out but it's not always easy. It would be nice if some customers would throw the empty packets and stirrers away instead of setting them down and walking away. read more

Wawa in Milford is the most disgusting wawa i have ever been too. For starters, it is never clean, especially the coffee bar thats full of sugar and creamer spilled all over the place. The workers themselves are rude and down right nasty. They don't smile or greet, always look like they hate their job and talk sexually to each other and make references, both managers and regular employees! It happens on every shift. If I can avoid going in this wawa all together, I do. The only good thing is the gas prices. I suggest that store gets a revamp of all their associates and management team cause i'm sure i'm not the first person to bring this up, but i'm sure this wawa doesn't care about it's customers obviously.
