I had been seeing reviews online and some where mix as far as food and service. Told my love about it so me and her decided to take the 20 minute ride from Bridgeville to try it out. I must say we where not disappointed We ordered cheese steak, chicken cheese steak fries, mac & cheese bites. We also got some hard to find ice cream outa there cooler. Service was good an fairly fast food made good and cook just rite, sub rolls where soft and fresh. This place is off the chain amazing!!! As my students would say... But it's true. The Williamsville Store is beyond anything being made and sold in this part of lower Delaware. Staff is super friendly and quick to get your order. Very clean and very good selection of cold drinks to choose from. Keep in mind it's a country store. So all the staples are there. Snacks and candy, a small selection of pantry items as well as picnic supplies for those driving to the beach and forgot to get paper plates, cups or 2 litter. Plus an amazing menu. From big juicy burgers, amazing cheese steaks, Italian subs, breakfast sandwiches anytime of day the list goes on and on. PLUS they have fresh baked goods as well. From home made Whoopie pies and cinnamon rolls, Mac n cheese, deviled eggs and daily take home and heat meals. When I moved down here I tried all the food options and just about everything is awful. No one knows how to make pizza or stromboli. The only good fried chicken comes from a gas station and the fast food chains that are here are either always out of stock or they're out and make you wait 20-30 minutes while they restock. I'm from Northern Delaware originally and waiting 20-30 minutes for fast food is unacceptable. The KFC in Milford is always out of chicken. How is that possible? I've been here for 4 years and have tried repeatedly to get their chicken and only once in 27 trip's was I successful in getting a bucket. And it had at least and not joking, an inch of hot grease floating at the bottom. Everything sucks here. But then there's the Williamsville Store. It was like the gates of heaven opened up when I discovered this little gem nestled in the heart of central Delaware. Finally I found a place that know how to make a great cheese steak. Italian subs stuffed with meat and toppings. Whoopie pies. Oh my God the have Whoopie pies. And they are to die for. Plus pickle fries...... Best part is they have a "Sub card" you can ask for at the counter. Every time you get a Sub sandwich or cheese steak they stamp it. And once your card is all stamped up you get a free one. It's a nice gesture to do for your customers. Especially when prices are so high. The only thing bad I can say about them is their hours of operation. Don't believe the hours on the door. For some reason they shared there store hours on their Facebook but never took the sign down from their front door. But just visit their Facebook for their hours. They post daily with all kinds of food specials. Like house made goulash that's to die for and for your party needs have sub trays, wing trays etc. They cater too!! I could go on and on. Just wish they were open late, cause I could go for a BLT and fries right now! And if you think all BLTs are the same . Eh eh. They pile the bacon on!!!! Trust me this place has me as a lifetime customer!!!!! I forgot to mention.... They have indoor seating if you wanna sit and eat there. Plus picnic tables outside if you'd like to eat outside. Every single bite of food from here is amazing. They have the best chicken salad, awesome waffle fries and so much more. We eat here at least once a week and we are never ever disappointed. I bought a cheesesteak there a month ago and it was very good! Menu prices have increased from posted menu prices!

$10.49 for a large cheesesteak with mushrooms. I am not sure how but this was a good cheesesteak. This was definitely a 'sum of the parts far-out value' the individual pieces. The best way to describe the roll is a mini loaf of bread. There was a good amount of meat but nothing really to write home about. Good amount of cheese and it was melted through very nicely. Fried onions and mushrooms were there but really didn't stand out. The Tomato was weak. Somehow it all came together and made for a nice cheesesteak. A little on the mushy side and it had a sweetness to it. read more

If I could rate this store a 0 I would! This place has gone straight down the toilet since changing hands. The owners and their family are some of the most rude people I have ever encountered. There may be 2 or 3 staff members that are positive and polite. Otherwise they're rude and unsanitary. I personally have witnessed them not using gloves to prepare food. They have been known to stand around on their cell phones and ignore customers walking in. Then other customers have said it on social media and they were ridiculed and called liars. In fact, these people make it their life's mission to eliminate any little review that doesn't paint them in a perfect light. They are terrified of criticism and never take responsibility. The owners' daughter has made it her full time job to police the reviews of the store. She attacks people on social media and has negative reviews removed when possible. What's worse is that while they initially seem like nice people, they turn out to be the complete opposite. The owner talks badly about staff members to other staff behind their backs. She cuts hours and then shoves people into the cleaning company she owns to work there, when she doesn't feel they are right for the store. She breaks the law and illegally deducts personal loans from employee checks. They have also been known to call the police on employees for informing others of what is going on. Terrible atmosphere and toxic people. I would never give them a dime of my money! read more

Cannot recommend this establishment enough! Workers are so kind, I'm always greeted as soon as I walk through the door. Super clean and sanitary. The food is absolutely AMAZING. Good place to get a quick snack. It's the best for sodas I say, pretty cheap but I wish the atmosphere was a little cleaner and welcoming.

I'm an old-timer, and I miss the yester-years of simple living. It was a pleasure driving from my home in Magnolia, thru the country roads, and going inside to a clean store - where I could get "anything fishing" I needed. I took home some subs (hoagies, as my Philly Gal wife would say). Those who know me, know, as soon as I say "Philly Gal" who I am. I'll be paying this country store a visit soon.
