Only giving this gas station 2 stars because as a visitor, I was told, Jersey gives you that southern hospitality, where they don't allow you to pump your own gas. It was Saturday night 10/25 at 10pm, there were 3 gentlemen outside, one was pumping gas for a customer, the others just standing around watching. So I'm like "oh. Ok, clearly that southern hospitality doesn't apply everywhere or at least not here". So yea that's really the only why I'm giving it 2 stars. Wawa is your all-day, everyday stop for fresh, Built-To-Order foods and beverages, coffee, fuel services, and surcharge-free ATMs. This Wawa was located right next door to the hotel we were staying at , so it was very convenient. The only downside, since we are from PA, didn't realize they don't give you a bag for your order, you can purchase a bag... which we weren't going to do, so we all had our hands filled walking back to our hotel room. read more

All my life, I've been hearing about The Wonders of Wawa from Jersey folk. Obviously, Jersey folk can't be trusted, so I finally investigated for myself last week. Friends, the tales you may have heard of these wondrous Wawas are true. 1st Wonder of Wawa: As we rode over in the car, one member of our party was concerned because he didn't want a large sandwich (because there were tacos to be had later). The Jersey girl among us said, "Don't worry, you can get a three-inch!" This is the first recorded time in history that this sentence was said as a positive. 2nd Wonder of Wawa: Upon arrival, we discovered that you can not, in fact, get a three-inch. But Ruggy got himself a sample of a delicious sub, which was about three inches anyway (Ruggy loves a good three-inch). They are giving away subs, people. 3rd Wonder of Wawa: They just handed all of us little samples of the ridiculously tasty Oreo shake. They are giving away shakes, people. 4th Wonder of Wawa: There are display cases full of snacks. I would eat every single one. Unfortunately, I try to limit myself to four or five meals a day, so I forced myself to choose: The Cheddar Pretzel. Now, most places that sell pretzels are lazy. They just make a pretzel, and give you some cheddar sauce to dip it in. Not so, at Wawa. Here, they STUFF the pretzel with cheddar, which negates the need for an external cheddar sauce, and reduces the amount of any sort of awkward dipping down to NOTHING. The cheddar is just IN the pretzel, for all your cheesy needs. All parties agreed that this was not just genius, but delicious as well. 5th Wonder of Wawa: I got a sandwich at a glorified gas station, and it was actually good. Much, much better than any gas station has any right to be serving. Plus, I had it my way. Took a road trip from NYC and when you have some noobs in the car, you need to show off the best of NJ... Wawa! I usually don't have an issue with my sandwiches but this time I have quite a few. The girl making it wasn't friendly to start. I said "thank you" and she pretty much just glared at me. Second of all, she only filled my Mac n cheese a little over half way. Third, and I didn't realize this until I got home and was ready to eat... the sandwich is a complete disaster, thrown together haphazardly and it was wrapped even worse. It leaked all over everything else in the bag. I asked for a LITTLE BIT of mayo and she SLATHERED IT in mayo making the sandwich ooze. I will say, she did put a lot of toppings on... probably to disguise the crappy quality it is. Now, I like a lot of vinegar on my subs and I understand that makes a sandwich soggy... but this thing is soggy in a bad way. Not vinegar soggy, oil soggy. And I didn't want oil on my sandwich. I never make complaints, and I'm sure this girl is great... I just think she needs retraining... because this is a very very sad sandwich. read more

Went for a sandwich. My sandwich was loosey. The staff was to busy yelling at another staff member for being late. Singled him out by name. If it wasnt caused I had paid for the sandwich I would have left. Very unprofessional. My first time in a WAWA not a great experience. read more

They have a lemon cream filled muffin, in the donut case, that is much cheaper yet substantially better than the same "cupcake" at that well-known bakery in Bradley Beach. The chicken corn chowder is fabulous but don't expect it to still be there late afternoon. It sells out quickly. read more

I'm not really one to complain, but I find it really difficult to believe that I just happen to go there when all of the rudest, most unprofessional people are working. The person behind the counter making sandwiches wouldn't even acknowledge me when I had a special request about my sandwich which then resulted in her making it again. She then said in a very pointed tone "well, you should've said something" The fact that I tried apparently didn't matter. She just kept huffing and puffing and rolling her eyes. Mind you, there was only one other person in the store. When I got to the cash register, the young lady (I use the term lightly) began speaking to me as if she knew me in that she used fowl language multiple times and acting as if we were familiar. I got to the point where I actually asked if we had met before and she responded "Shut the hell up before I slap you" not in mean way but in a way a friend would say it to another. I travel back and forth that way for work and have never had a problem. I don't believe I've ever seen that girl before and I hope to never see her again. read more

I come here often. Th gas seems to last longer than most gas stations I've been to. I love wawa in general because I can stop by convenient store to get whatever snack/food I want. There subs aren't that bad and reasonably-priced. read more
